uh, a contest between power as lot of flaw's, it would take forever to become a kage, and there would be the problem with the agreeing who won, with just saying who has the most people supporting them, it just become's so much simpler, and easier to go through with.

And just becuz ur posts is high doesnt mean u can battle better than evryone else. And if u can why dont battle in equal terms with everyone else. What are u afraid of? If they're crappy battlers, you should have no trouble defeating them.

A few weeks ago I defeated Grimm, who had access to all his jutsus, by using 3 shadow clones and the Earth Release: Rock Staff jutsu.

Both of which are very low-rank.

yes, and the people will be angry, the mod's could turn out to be corrupt and randomly pick their bestest friends, and if it is a contest there would be like SO MANY contestant's it would take forever for them to finish competing, not 1 hour. and in the end people will be happy if they agree with whosoever they picked to be hokage. your just getting desperate cause you want to have that position all to yourself.

People who are angry about losing lack the morals to be a kage in the first place.

The mods are not corrupt, which is why they were chosen to be mods.

There won't be that many challengers: hardly anyone would think they're strong enough to go up against a kage. They know the consequences.

People won't be happy: they'll be vulnerable due to a possibly weak Kage. Your way is foolish, we can't let the public decide who is the kage: THE KAGE IS DEFINED AS THE STRONGEST PERSON IN THE VILLAGE WHO WILL PROTECT EVERYONE. NOT SOMEONE WHO EVERYONE CHOOSES TO LEAD THEM. THIS IS NOT A PRESIDENTIAL RACE, THIS IS NOT A RACE FOR OFFICE ON EARTH, THIS IS ONE IN THE NARUTO UNIVERSE!
