Just a little clarification.. Kirin > Preta Path

A discussion came up, I'd like more opinions on the situation. The debate was whether Kirin could be absorbed by a Preta Path.

Agreed.. Kirin defeats Preta Path if he tries to absorb the attack. Kirin is composed of natural lightning and is only shape manipulated by sasuke. Even considering that some of sasuke's chakra is actually in the attack itself, shape mainupulation could only be about less than 10% of the entire attack (judging from sasuke's remaining chakra).

Even if preta path tried to absorb the less than 10% of chakra used in the attack.. the attack would destroy him regardless... Kirin > Preta Path

Thoughts anyone?

Agreed, Kirin is lightning which is guided and shaped by Sasuke using chakra. Just like you said

Kirin is natural lightening. It cannot be absorbed. Petra Path only absorbs - I am certain most, not all - ninjutsus.

Title made it like a vs thread. Yes Preta Path can't absorb kirin, however that doesn't mean Kirin > Preta Path because Preta path is very efficient in negating ninjutsus, while Kirin is an all or nothing offensive attack.

What's more appropriate title would have been: Kirin can't be absorbed by Preta Path!

Preta path can absorb Kirin. Preta path has been shown to be able to absorb nature chakra, which Kirin is made out of.

He could potentially turn into stone if Kirin contains too much nature chakra for him to handle.
