Jiton is considered an elemental release in which our raiton, the Lightning element of the primary five elemental affinities, is expanded upon, rather than mixed with another element. It is, without a doubt, a Kekkei Genkai, though not truly an "element". It is created by manipulating one's raiton chakra in such a way as to create an energy field rather than bolts of lightning. This electromagnetic field, generated by your chakra as a medium rather than a piece of metal, is then given a polarity. By giving your chakra a positive polarity, you artificially create the "north" end of a magnet, whereas if you give your chakra a negative polarity you generate an artificial "south" magnet. Now, to be able to utilize Jiton properly and, to be honest, well, which is considerably different from "properly", you must understand the basics of a magnet. Do not worry, there's nothing overly complicated here.
A north pole attracts a south pole, and Vice Versa. A north pole repels a north pole, and a south pole repels a south pole. A charged object, regardless if it has a positive or negative charge, is attracted to an object without a charge; a neutral object. And, finally, the earth we stand on, speaking of the planet and not "earth" as in rocks manipulated through doton, is so large that no single force or shinobi can provide it a charge; it is neutral. Now, the earth is not truly neutral, as we have a North and South Pole, and this is how a compass works, but with most magnetism induced by altering the charges in objects, which one could say Jiton is all about, the earth is neutral enough. Now, it doesn't really matter what charge you give any object with Jiton, as long as you remember what charge it is so that, when using your next Jiton technique, you can either attract or repel properly. Now that's the basics, we shall move onto the first, very basic technique.
Now, this first technique covers the very essence of what Jiton actually is. Now, the reason I personally do not classify Jiton as a true elemental Kekkei Genkai is the fact that it always requires a medium; you will always need to pass your Jiton chakra, through physical touch, to an object, and often times from that object to another object. Now, take this pouch of iron sand, and focus your Jiton chakra through the sand. Yes, I know you are a basic user; just bare with me. Using magnetic materials such as iron sand, rather than larger materials like kunai, is much more effective for inducing smaller effects, such as this technique. For this technique, I want you to charge that entire bag of iron sand with the same charge. Remember what I told you about the same charge repelling? This will cause the iron sand to try and spread apart, and with your chakra mixed in with the sand, you can "guide" it, to an extent, to fill the air. Because of the strength of your chakra, of the charge you gave the sand, as the iron sand floats in the air it will begin to create a type of thin "mist" comprised of the sand. Then, you may choose to pass your chakra from the particles of sand onto a target as you please.
Now, as the iron sand touches me, I want you to pass all of the sand's charge onto my body, turning me into a living magnet. That is all this technique is; passing charge from your body, to the sand, onto a target. From there, your target, in this case me, shall be magnetized, and metal objects will be attracted to me. Now, as I become a magnet, uncharged objects will be drawn towards me; remember the basics. So, practice, make sure to describe what you are doing as you are doing it, leave no detail out, and I'll simply juggle these three kunai... Once I become a magnet, my own kunai will be drawn towards my body.
After that, I will need you to describe for me in what situations you can see yourself using this technique, and how exactly you would use this technique. I will also need you to explain what drawbacks this technique has, and please, if you ever have any questions on any part of this, that's what I'm here for.
