The Fourth Kazekage arrives, with several scrolls on his back, looking down at his student.
So, you wish to learn the art of Magnetism? First, you must explain to me what magnetism is. What is a magnet? Because "how does a magnet work" is far too complicated, explain what a magnet does. Then explain how, in your own words, we can replicate this result with chakra. Finally, when explaining this "chakra-based magnetism", I want you to come up with how using chakra instead of magnets to create magnetic forces improves on the concept of "magnetism", and what the potential uses of it are.

"So straightforward... I like it..." *Kuchiki thinks to herself*

"Okay, yeah. Whatever. A magnet attracts various types of metals. That's what a magnet is... They come in various sizes and forms which is unimportant. I have absolutely no idea how to convert that into chakra flow and utilize it but I can think of a million ways it can become useful when I do figure it out. It can be used to use natural metal and earth and break it up to attack your opponent. It can be used to control other metal objects on the field, such as kunai, shuriken, etc. Do you really want me to talk your ear off or do you want to get down to training me?" *Kuchiki wanted to test her sensei and see how much he would put up with but there was no denying she wanted to get this show on the road*

Jiton is considered an elemental release in which our raiton, the Lightning element of the primary five elemental affinities, is expanded upon, rather than mixed with another element. It is, without a doubt, a Kekkei Genkai, though not truly an "element". It is created by manipulating one's raiton chakra in such a way as to create an energy field rather than bolts of lightning. This electromagnetic field, generated by your chakra as a medium rather than a piece of metal, is then given a polarity. By giving your chakra a positive polarity, you artificially create the "north" end of a magnet, whereas if you give your chakra a negative polarity you generate an artificial "south" magnet. Now, to be able to utilize Jiton properly and, to be honest, well, which is considerably different from "properly", you must understand the basics of a magnet. Do not worry, there's nothing overly complicated here.
A north pole attracts a south pole, and Vice Versa. A north pole repels a north pole, and a south pole repels a south pole. A charged object, regardless if it has a positive or negative charge, is attracted to an object without a charge; a neutral object. And, finally, the earth we stand on, speaking of the planet and not "earth" as in rocks manipulated through doton, is so large that no single force or shinobi can provide it a charge; it is neutral. Now, the earth is not truly neutral, as we have a North and South Pole, and this is how a compass works, but with most magnetism induced by altering the charges in objects, which one could say Jiton is all about, the earth is neutral enough. Now, it doesn't really matter what charge you give any object with Jiton, as long as you remember what charge it is so that, when using your next Jiton technique, you can either attract or repel properly. Now that's the basics, we shall move onto the first, very basic technique.

Now, this first technique covers the very essence of what Jiton actually is. Now, the reason I personally do not classify Jiton as a true elemental Kekkei Genkai is the fact that it always requires a medium; you will always need to pass your Jiton chakra, through physical touch, to an object, and often times from that object to another object. Now, take this pouch of iron sand, and focus your Jiton chakra through the sand. Yes, I know you are a basic user; just bare with me. Using magnetic materials such as iron sand, rather than larger materials like kunai, is much more effective for inducing smaller effects, such as this technique. For this technique, I want you to charge that entire bag of iron sand with the same charge. Remember what I told you about the same charge repelling? This will cause the iron sand to try and spread apart, and with your chakra mixed in with the sand, you can "guide" it, to an extent, to fill the air. Because of the strength of your chakra, of the charge you gave the sand, as the iron sand floats in the air it will begin to create a type of thin "mist" comprised of the sand. Then, you may choose to pass your chakra from the particles of sand onto a target as you please.
Now, as the iron sand touches me, I want you to pass all of the sand's charge onto my body, turning me into a living magnet. That is all this technique is; passing charge from your body, to the sand, onto a target. From there, your target, in this case me, shall be magnetized, and metal objects will be attracted to me. Now, as I become a magnet, uncharged objects will be drawn towards me; remember the basics. So, practice, make sure to describe what you are doing as you are doing it, leave no detail out, and I'll simply juggle these three kunai... Once I become a magnet, my own kunai will be drawn towards my body.
After that, I will need you to describe for me in what situations you can see yourself using this technique, and how exactly you would use this technique. I will also need you to explain what drawbacks this technique has, and please, if you ever have any questions on any part of this, that's what I'm here for.

*Kuchiki stares at her sensei with a blank face as she wipes drool from her bottom lip*

"... Yes, sir." *She snatches the bag of iron sand from his hand and let it rest in her palm. As she makes the shinobi seal of confrontation, she focuses her jiton chakra on the bag of iron sand and charges the sand with a "north charge". As she does this, the bag wrap unravels as the sand forces itself out as every bit of iron sand in the bag is now holding the same charge. As more comes out, it starts to gather in front of the two shinobi until there is a small, thick, floating cloud of iron sand. Kuchiki guides it with her implemented chakra onto her sensei. As the few thousand grains of iron sand attracts to her sensei's body, his kunai starts to shake and force their way to him as they are neutral and have no charge*

*As this happens, she smiles and explains how she would use this certain technique*

"Well... Let's say someone threw a metal weapon at me such as a kunai or a shuriken, I could charge a bag of iron sand and through chakra, I could charge it and move the sand away from me. Doing so will result in the kunai to relocate to the sand instead of the original target, me. Am I right?"

That would be right, but it would only draw away metallic objects and objects which have been charged with Jiton chakra. Now, this technique allows you to charge any object which you touch directly with a charge of your choosing. Which means that you can charge a kunai, and then throw it slightly away from you to draw the incoming weapons away; just be careful that whatever you charge comes close to the incoming weapons so that it actually is close enough to draw them away. Now, that being said, you can also touch your opponent directly to turn him into a living magnet. However, the method I suggested to you allows you to transfer the magnetic charge from one object, the Iron Sand, to your opponent, allowing you to magnetize them at range. Any object you have magnetized with this jutsu can have it's charge passed on in this manner. But you did well; we'll be moving on.

Range: Short-Mid

Damage Points: N/A(all metal thrown at opponent hits them and causes +2 damage for each one that lands)
Description: Turns your opponent into a living magnet.
The next technique involves you channeling your Jiton chakra through the ground to a point behind my clone. Then, I want you to focus your Jiton chakra on that spot, giving a section of the earth a powerful positive charge, while at the same time giving your body a powerful negative charge. Now, the wavelengths of your chakra creating these magnetic fields are specific enough that only the rocks will be attracted to you, nothing else, but when the opposing charges are strong enough, the ground will break up behind my clone and fly towards you, taking him out. As the rocks take out my clone, you'll want to release your chakra from the rocks and yourself so that they don't attack you. Once again, I want your opinion on how you would use this jutsu in battle, and what drawbacks you can see about it.

(Am I actually allowed to use iron sand for free-form or use it with techniques that require it? Because some "iron sand" techniques do not specify that they are restricted to Kazekage bios whilst others do. And if I can wield iron sand, I'd like to put that on my bio. I figured I'd ask you since I have gotten different answers from a lot of people and since you teach it, I thought you'd know best.)

"Alright." *She nods*

*Kuchiki focuses her chakra and thinks about a magnet with a neutral charge. She kneels down and gently places her hand on the ground, channeling her jiton chakra underground to a point about two feet behind her sensei's clone. As her chakra hits this spot, she charges it with a North charge. She converts her jiton chakra to a south charge and disperses the rest of the focused south-charged chakra in her body (not all. Just the focused chakra for that technique) and chunks of rock break off from out of the ground and head towards Kuchiki at a great speed and from behind, taking out her sensei's clone's legs and waist and making it disperse.*

*As the rocks continue towards Kuchiki, she quickly releases her chakra from the flying rocks and since the charged chakra from her body had already been dispersed, the rocks drop as soon as the charges are released*

"That... That was honestly kind of scary. And I don't scare easily."

"Well, I would use this if my opponent had some sort of defense, such as a doton wall in front of me. This would be almost literally the perfect attack for something like that since you can maneuver your chakra underground and it's form is particularly malleable so it can get around or through obstacles."

"One way it can come back to haunt you is if you mess up your move and "forget" to charge something properly or opposite, everything will blast away instead of the path you want it to take towards you and your opponent. And also, if you forget to discharge your jiton chakra from yourself and/or the rocks, you could get hit by them yourself. That would be a mess."

*Kuchiki looks at her hands. Thinking about what kind of power she holds*

(There is a grey area in this regard. Even if it doesn't say anything, techniques which are specifically "Iron Sand" are exclusively 3rd Kazekage. However, for two cannon basic Magnetism techniques, you have to use Iron Sand as a medium to make it happen; you aren't exactly controlling the Iron Sand, you're more using it to transfer your magnetic chakra to another object. If that makes sense.)

Right. You also want to watch out because if the opponent defends or dodges, and then uses wind to enhance the rocks already flying towards you, it won't matter if you negate your chakra. But you did well, so we'll move on.

Description: The user will magnetize a spot behind the target ans break up nearby earth. Then the earth will attack the use since he/she is in the filed of he magnetically charged spot.
This next technique also uses Iron Sand, like the first one. So, it's the exact same procedure; focus Magnetic Chakra into a bag of Iron Sand, make it all the same charge, release the sand towards my clone. But as the sand flows through the air, and touches my clone, you can take full control of the chakra-magnetic impulses, a term I use instead of "electromagnetic impulses", in order to mess with the electrochemical impulses of the human brain. In short, as you don't need to know all the sciency crap about this technique: if you focus your magnetic chakra into your opponent's brain once your Iron Sand makes contact, his brain will be unable to tell his body what to do and how to move, thus paralyzing him. So, perform on my clone, and give me the run-through of uses and weaknesses, if you would; you know what you're doing now.

*Kuchiki nods at her sensei*

*She walks up to where the last clone was and touches the iron sand on the ground, giving half of the sand a north charge and the other half a south charge. The small grains of iron stack up with eacho0ther and make a block. As she backs up to focus on the new clone, she keeps her hand up as the iron sand follows. She stretches her fingers out on her risen hand and the sand touches it. At that moment, she gives all of the sand a north charge and they separate into a disorganized ball. Using her chakra, she moves it to the new clone's head. As soon as it touches, she clenches her hand to make a fist and intensifies her chakra in the sand. Nothing seems to happen at that moment*

"I had to do it right... I felt it..." *She tells her sensei. The clone remains there all derpy-looking*

"Well, for it's weaknesses, it seems like a really slow technique you have to focus on just like any other elemental streamed technique. So unless you have at least a basic defense up (like a doton wall in front of you, summon, etc.) it seems like it could easily be interrupted."

"For it's good usages, once this attack is landed, it could be used to tweak most if not all of the opponent's moves and attacks. Therefor, you can make them do something they didn't want to do or make them do something that will make their moves slightly in your favor. Is this correct?"

Not exactly. You can't make your opponent move with this technique, you can merely stop their body movements. It's great if you're in close-range, especially in the middle of Taijutsu as you can transfer the charge by direct contact and stop their movement much more quickly than genjutsu. Also, while this technique is not genjutsu, and as such cannot be broken with things such as kai or physical pain, a surge of Raiton chakra B-rank or greater would cancel this technique's effects. And guess who's favorite Raiton technique just happens to be of A-rank? EVERYONE'S! :D

Standing around awkwardly with a cheesy smile, waiting for his student to appreciate his near-fourth wall-breaking joke, the 4th Kazekage eventually allowed his face to become expressionless again as he continued.
Alrighty, so this is the last technique for you to learn for Jiton. First, I want you to collect a few of your shuriken. Then, magnetize them so that they all float between your hands, as if gravity didn't exist. You may then use your hand motions to send the shuriken flying without actually throwing them, causing them to move just as fast as if you were to throw them, and with much better accuracy and a smaller time gap between projectile as you are using your chakra to manipulate them instead of throwing them. Then, if one of your shuriken hits a target, even if they deflect it with a sword or something of the type, the magnetic chakra is transferred onto them. You may then summon two large, square shuriken (which doesn't count as a separate move) which you then throw. These shuriken are to be given a different charge as the normal ones you used earlier so that they are drawn to your target, following them even if they move.

(Lol)

*Kuchiki laughs at her sensei* "That's good. I still like how the jutsu works. Understood."

*Kuchiki digs in her pouch and takes out three shuriken. All of them rested between her fingers on her right hand. She charges them with a north charge and converts her chakra to a magnetized north charge as well after lining her trajectory path at a tree. After this, the shuriken take off and deeply impale the tree which was quite a distance away from Kuchiki. After, she makes three hand seals and two large shuriken poof onto her arms. Converting her chakra to a south charge and channeling it to the bigger shuriken, Kuchiki let's them fall down her arms so that they can rest in her hands as she throws them. She threw them quite a bit off just to see the magnitude of this technique but it didn't matter as the bigger shuriken headed straight for the tree and chop and sink into it. The amount of magnetic chakra put into the bigger shuriken was so great that a few seconds after hitting the tree, they attracted the smaller shuriken causing the deeply impaled small shuriken to rip out of the tree and cling to the bigger shuriken*

"That was amazing." *Kuchiki tells her sensei*

*She walks up to the tree and tries to rip out the shuriken. But the effort was useless, the attack was too great and the shuriken were deeply stuck into the tree*

"How interesting."

*As Kuchiki places her hands into the barely open holes of the big shuriken and places her feet onto the tree, trying desperately to pull them out, she explain the dos and don'ts of the jutsu*

"Well! This jutsu seems extremely useful to me as if your shuriken his your target or anything your target comes into contact with, they themselves will hold one of my charges and that opens up a lot of opportunities for the same attack (since you must summon the bigger shuriken after the fact) and after the attack. I see no drawbacks of this jutsu other than if the shuriken get blocked by a jutsu and do not come into contact with your opponent, you just wasted your poor shuriken for nothing. Come on!" *Kuchiki shouts as she tries to make progress in her endless struggle to get the shuriken out of the tree*

My only comment would be that you do not have to actually hold the shuriken, as your magnetic chakra will hold them in place as they levitate around your hand. And, aside from that, well done!
(Jiton: Jishaku Shuriken no Jutsu) - Magnetisim Release: Magnet Shuriken Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After magnetising shuriken, The user throws them at the opponent. Anything that is hit by the shuriken is magnetised, as such it is important that the opponent dodges all of them as even deflecting them will cause their bodies to produce a powerful magnetic field, making them an easier target. Each time the magnetism is transferred it weakens. Then when the user will throw a larger square shuriken that is magnetised at their target with then can hone in on them and even follow them if they move.
You have completed your training here. If you have no questions, I shall leave everything at that.
