I think people are underestimating sasuke here, aoba can compete with a frog summon and sasuke has the edge on base jiraiya, sure sm is a problem but so is kirin, this is a close battle not a jiraiya low diff battle

Jiraiya summonings would get controlled via genjutsu... This is the main reasons why Sasuke would win...

He can't control more than one summoning at once.

@WreckRoll Hebi doesn't have Aoba

^ Show me a manga page where Jiraiya has brought in multiple summons. Once in SM, show me a page where he has brought in any other summon other than the sage toads. His summon gets swallowed whole by any large Snake summon. He cannot enter without the large toads stalling the opponents.

Oh so just because he has only shown to summon one toad at once means he can't summon multiple toads? I love your logic Shelke...

Who was talking about controling the toads. He just needs to put Jiraiya in a genjutsu. Hebi Sasuke has great chakra reserves, even when he was "low" on chakra he summoned a boss summon and genjutsu it. Nonetheless, he just has to force the summon to harm themselves which would result in a desummon.

Hebi Sasuke's genjutsu is nothing to be scared at. The toads will either snap him out of it or he will get out of it.

He only calls out the sage toads as a trump and when hes going into sage mode. If you want to prove Gambunta or the other giant toads know kai then by all means do it.

No, just manga facts, pal. I haven't seen a single individual bring out multiple large summons onto the battle-field. Unless you have proof, of course.

As for Genjutsu, then clearly you haven't read the parts where Chee, Deidara, Kurama, Manda, and Orochimaru were all bested by Sasuke's 3T genjutsu. Two out of these people / creatures are genjutsu experts, so let's not make stuff up.

sasuke can summon all the snakes, so aoba is included, also aoba treated him with respect, so obviosly they know each other from a lot of time, what other explanation do you have ?

Hebi Sasuke beats Jiraiya mid-high diff. Hebi Sasuke is so underrated, his speed is beyond Jiraiya's by a long run, Jiraiya's summons will be turned against him via genjutsu, SM and Ma and Pa are never being achieved/summoned. I fail to see why people are undermining Sasuke's ability to win.

My thoughts on Base Jiraiya:

Scenario I:

Since summonings are restricted I'd say Sasuke wins high-diff just because he's faster.

But if there are shadows being made by the Sun (it's a sunny day at this location) then I think Jiraiya can survive long enough using Needle Jizo to use his Shadow Manipulation Technique at short range (assuming Sasuke is trying to get through his Needle Jizo with a Chidori) and momentarily confused Jiraiya can use a whole slew of Jutsu to defeat Sasuke so mid-diff Jiraiya.

So on average this scenario goes Jiraiya's way high-diff

Scenario II:

If Hebi Sasuke had complete control and respect of Manda then I'd say this goes in Sasuke's favor but I don't think he does, which means Hebi Sasuke would have to use genjutsu on Manda to control him which uses chakra by itself. Having plenty of toad summons in his arsenal that are loyal to him, Jiraiya doesn't have to expend chakra whilst their already summoned (does expend chakra by summoning). If Jiraiya can summon Gamabunta and at least two more giant toads and I can see them dealing with a controlled Manda (plus I feel Jiraiya at this point has had plenty of experience with Oro's snake, and Oro has mastered using them so I think he'll be able to handle a less experienced "snake-wielder" if you will).

In terms of Kirin on such a sunny cloudless day there's no way Sasuke would even be able to use it, as without clouds he wouldn't be able to heat them up to create lightning (feel free to tell me if this point is way off base).

If he IS able to use Kirin I don't see Jiraiya surviving as he doesn't have a good enough defense to deal with that much power, so Hebi Sasuke high diff in that case.

In this scenario Jiraiya can also use Toad Mouth Bind to catch Sasuke, and where Sasuke would have no way of escaping because at this point he didn't have Amaterasu.

So in this scenario on average Jiraiya high-diff, and that's being generous to Sasukes resilience.

P.S. Saying Hebi Sasuke can take down SM Jiraiya is pretty bogus IMO.... he can just use demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant (sound genjutsu > visual genjutsu) .. so SM Jiraiya low-diff (plus he's got a rasengan that can level a mountain)

I've used those thoughts before btw ^

Neither addresses the current scenario, which has no restrictions and no prep. He is never achieving SM in the fight.

He needs Itachis Amaterasu to use Kirin?! I don't think that is necessary, and easy way to do it when he's done it once before is to use a fireball in the sky to make a storm of some type and use his electricity to direct the Kirin towards his mark...

1 or 2 fireballs won't cause lightning clouds, sorry. Itachi's amaterasu basically made it possible for Sasuke to use Kirin. And it was only due to plot. There's a reason why Sasuke never used it again and that's because it's impractical and requires too much time to set up.

Jiraiya wins low difficulty.
