Jinyong

Despite the Cataclysm, a range of smaller ninja clans had long since inhabited Jinyong. While they are no longer the dominant force in Jinyong, least of all the Tea Peninsula all together, they still serve as an ""allowance"" within Solanaceae, a decree issued by Aureliana herself. While her reasoning is unknown publicly, all that is known is that the various Ninja Clans that reside there are allowed to exist within their own means, yet somehow maintain their compliance -borderline loyalty- to Aureliana.

This post marks the start of my mission.
The storyboard elements included are;
-Marked for Death (4)

Story:
After making port in Jinyong, Kazumi travels to the capital of The Shogunate of Takauji Ashikaga, Degarashan to offer her services as a powerful kunoichi in return for money and fame. The delegates of the Shogunate inform her that many missions are avaliable but the more dangerous and higher ones would provide more renown for her. After seeing a mission to foil a plot to usurp the Shogun, Kazumi initiates a plan to use her skills to spy on some of the suspects till she finds the right ones and hands them over to the Shoganate.

Stepping off the boat in a seaside town in Jinyong, Kazumi made sure to have her face and features covered, her silken white hood held up with her only a portion of her hair draped around her neck exposed. The air, much like the trip had the taste of salt on it, with the scent of smoke from the factories along the coastline. Kazumi didnt want to be noticed here, but she doubted that any of the villagers or townsfolk here would recognise or take notice of her. as far as they were concerned, she was just another traveller in their lands, probably some delegate to set up a business deal of some sort. Well it was partially true. Kazumi had come to set up a deal with the Shogunate Faction, but it was far from regular deals. Unlike shady back alley deals, this was going to be done in secret of a board room, brokering an alliance between a Clan and a Faction that desired to strengthen their grip on the lands. Kazumi had done her research on these people, and she had no doubt that they potentially had a dossier on her as well. She wasn't about to underestimate her potential partners, as even a slight misstep which they could take advantage might cost her. But even as Kazumi wandered through the town heading towards the mountain ranges towards the capital, Kazumi's eyes kept darting back and forth as she noticed some of the townsfolk had hidden weapons among their clothes. Evidently they've had to deal with problems in the past but Kazumi was no threat to them.

Moving into the mountain range, Kazumi followed the path towards Degarashan, focusing on her goal, her desires and her resolve. Throwing a scarf around her mouth, she moved through and practised her breathing.

Seeing the area's by the sea where many people seemed to be, Geets hops off Boit and repeats the same process he did in the land mark over, creating a tunnel that he connects to the main one he created and makes the exit sloped slightly so the herd could easily walk up it. Waving his Flame Swordsman Sword around, he catches several of the herds attention, siphoning off the ones who had caught a glimpse of the golden flames. He then makes his way back to on top of Boit and heads north..

(Doton: Ton'neru chika no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Tunneling Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird is able to create a wide tunnel in the ground, this cannot travel through rock though or anything with a high density. The large tunnel that is created allows the user to transport others without detection.
Note: The initial entry of the technique is short range.

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
- Custom: Use captured undead to bring terror to your enemy (4)
- Custom: Lament over the course of action you took (3)

Summary: After capturing a group of undead in earthen cages with the help of her Ally. Lena uses them to bring terror and death upon her enemies, but as she does so she begins to think about her decision as innocent people are the main force being hurt by this attack and not the true enemy. After seeing the terror and death caused it just reminded her of the Battle of Shinramoto and comes to the decision that that is not what she wants to spread... she was no villain.

Coming from

Lena continues towards Degarashan on the bird and the earthen cage it carried, the bird cawed at her signalling that the cages were getting heavier again. She channelled her earth chakra through the rock cages again and relieved them of their weight so they could both be easily carried to Degarashi Port. She was close to getting her revenge on Takauji, using this undead opportunity to her advantage they had an army at their doorstep to be used instead of their actual men. It was the perfect plan, to use these undead against them as even if the undead were killed it would be a kindness and to cripple Takauji's regime would just add the cherry on the top.

(Doton: Chōkeijūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Release: Ultra Light-Weight Rock Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A (-40 if used to boost speed of a physical attack)
Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.
Vegeta had probably tunnelled to Degarashan by now so all she needed to do was drop these cages off and follow Sado's lead. She couldn't promise that if she saw Takauji she wouldn't charge for him however, though if he was there, the chance of him being killed would be on the table.

This post marks the beginning of my mission and narrative following these storyboard elements:
  1. Defend yourself from wild beasts
Summary:
After his village was burnt to the ground, Enma and his friends decided that they would travel separately to try and get stronger. When the time was right they would re-unite with each other and make those responsible pay. Enma being the last to leave, after paying his last respects to the graves of his family he sets off. Unknown adventure awaits him.

Bio: Kazuto Enma

The air was cold in the early morning. A light frost covered the ground, glistening as the sun slowly crested above the horizon. Enma trudged along, the trail he was following was starting to incline as he was arriving at the base of the mountain range. He had never traveled this far away from his village and he was nervous of what he might come across. His parents used to tell him and his friend’s stories about the mountains to try and deter them from running off to explore there. Which had worked initially but as they grew older, they had explored further out from the village.

Enma came to a stop as the path ahead diverged. If he took the left path, it would lead him up a mountainous trail that could have many dangers looming. If he took the right path, it took a trail alongside the base of the mountain range, somewhat safer and longer distance but more susceptible to rock slides in bad weather. It was hard to tell during the early morning what the weather would be like today but, the breeze was warm even still and his knowledge of the local weather from growing up here was pretty accurate, so he was able to determine it would be a nice day. Not good, just nice. Plain and simple.

He thought to himself, what each one of his friends would do to determine the way to travel, just for a little fun while he decided his own method. Adelheid would probably just pick the most direct route to reach her destination quicker, with Julie close behind. Shitopi-chan would literally just take the most exotic path or make her own entirely. Large would probably take his time through the mountains as he did enjoy hiking a lot. Kaoru would take his time along the right path in silence enjoying the serenity and Kouyou would detour his way through any forest or woodlands nearby.
Enma did just realize that this was not helping him decided, so taking a page from Adelheid's book, he decided on taking the left path. If he was to get stronger he needed to face adversity and struggle head on through a problem, he imagined Adelheid saying. So he looked at the right path, inhaled sharply and started heading up the left track, the nerves starting to hit through his body as he exhaled the held breath.

The path up the mountain was more rocky then he had originally anticipated, a lot of the stones were loose and it was difficult for him to get proper traction as he ascended. But he pushed on, making sure that he tread carefully as to not slip. It was very time consuming and he was glad that he had left somewhat early as the sun was now edging its way towards the peak of its arc. Nearly midday and he had only just gotten to the second maybe third part of his journey through.

"It would be so much easier.....if I......didn't have....to be careful.....about these stupid rocks." He panted to himself. A moment later, a realization hit him."I can use jutsu....." he shook his head at his forgetfulness. He could have saved so much time by just using the techniques he had learnt from his family. His village may have been small but most of the members were descendants of an old ninja group called the Shimon Famiglia, a small group of ninja that wanted to live in peace; so they joined together and created village, making sure it didn't get big enough to draw to much attention.

Taking a break from his thoughts, he began to look around for a ledge or platform that would give him more of a secure foothold, and sure enough just up ahead there looked to be a ledge that looked wide enough. Gathering his chakra towards the base of his feet, he braced himself as he clicked his heel to the ground, releasing the built up chakra into the ground below him. Moments later a small pillar forms beneath his feet and launches him up towards the ledge, doing a small flip to center himself before trying to land in 3 point landing pose. He did however overshoot it slightly and ended up landing flat on his stomach and smacking his face on the ground. After a moment, he let out a long sigh as he lift his head up. He was not going to tell Kouyou about this otherwise he would get a full on lecture on proper conduct of a 3 point landing. He chuckled to himself as his nose dripped a small amount of blood before wiping it away on his sleeve. A noise caught his attention as he turned his head to another path way just ahead of where he had landed.

"Oh great..." He muttered to himself as he saw the forms of what looked to be a small pack off wolves, slowly and carefully creeping their way towards him. Enma began to calmly rise from his prone position so that he was in a low crouch, making sure to keep an eye on the wolves if they decided to leap into action. Turns out he had cautioned himself correctly, for as he began to rise higher then a crouch, the wolf closest to him sprang forward with its jaw dripping with saliva, aiming to bite into his arm.

"Not so fast there pup!" As the wolf leaped forward, using the opening that had been left, Enma launches himself forward from his crouching position and arranges himself underneath the wolf. Pulling his hand back, he throws it forward so that his open palm connects with the chest area of the airborne canine, the force of the attack launching the wolf back towards the pack. Hearing the voice of Adelheid in the back of his mind "When facing multiple enemies, it is important that once you gain the upper hand, to not let go of the position. Continue the attacks and don't let up!" Strengthening his resolve Enma pushed forward, motioning with his hand in an upward wave. He released an amount of chakra emitting for the ground below the next closest wolf, quickly rising from the ground beneath, a long cylindrical cane made from the stone beneath shoots out of the ground and smashing into the underside of the second wolf. It yelps in pain as Enma hears the sound of its ribs, cracking from the force. Still pushing forward towards the third wolf, Enma builds up speed and jumps forward with his leg outstretched in a jumping kick that connects with the third wolf, forcing it backwards crashing into a wall 5 feet behind it.

Enma watches as the wolves slowly try to recover their footing. "Well round two is about to start it seems." A silent moment adds tension to the air as Enma faces down with the three injured wolves, each side seemingly determined to win the stare off. A slight breeze blows between them. Suddenly the 3 wolves start to step backwards before turning and hastily moving away from Enma, who in turn exhaled a sigh of relief. "I knew I should have taken the right path." A tingle crept up Enma's spine as he heard something heavy slam onto the ground behind him. Slowly turning his head to see what it was, he saw a cave that he had not noticed before, due to being distracted by the wolves in his way. From the mouth of the cave, one by one, large claws moved into view alongside a snout. Small, black eyes looked around hungrily as the giant bear started to make its way out of its home. "Oh....crap!" A bear?! He had to either fight or run away from a bear now? He had just dealt with wolves and now he was onto a bear, whats next lions or tigers?!

Enma stepped back as the bear began to move towards him, leaning to the side he picks up the cane that he had created against that wolf just before. He felt like he needed a weapon in hand, just to have that sense of security. The bear raised onto its hind legs and then dropped, beginning its charge towards Enma. He starts off by throwing the cane at the bears head, before gathering his chakra and lunching himself up and backward on the trail by using a small pillar like before, just to gain some more distance as the bear swipes the cane away with little effort.
An idea suddenly struck Enma. Behind the bear is the ledge that Enma landed, meaning that if he was able to hit the bear back enough, he could push it over the edge. One problem, it had started to move forward and was getting further away from the edge, so Enma need to act quickly. Gathering chakra, he raced forward head on towards the bear. He saw the bears raise its claw to swipe at him, reacting to the just before the claw swipes he releases the chakra in his feet to lauch himself up in the air by a small pillar. Twisting in the air so that his head is closest to the bear, he gathers his chakra again and spits out a large globule of mud that hits the bear in its eyes, effectively blinding the creature and landing behind the bear. While it is blinded, Enma maneuvers his way back around to the front of the bear, about 10 feet from it. Enma stomped his foot, releasing more chakra, sending it through the earth and mixing it with the surface, converting the earth directly under the bear into a flowing mud like river which was causing it to have difficulty keeping its balance, made even harder due to it being blinded by his previous technique.

Enma exhaled again, steeling himself he starts to gather chakra into his feet yet again, this time felt different though. Instead of his feet beginning to get heavy, this feeling was that almost as if his feet was gonna float off the ground. He leans forward and releases the chakra as he starts to run, the speed he gained surprised him, but he wouldn't lose his nerve. In a panic the bear had tried to stand itself upright. Big mistake, not only could it not balance it self but it had unintentionally allowed for Enma to get a solid shot. Bursting forward, he pulled his fist back in preparation for his attack and just as he was about to collide with the bear, bring his fist forward and slam a solid punch into the gut of the animal, pushing it backwards; sliding along the mud unable to get a grip it slowly and blindly begins to fall over the edge down to the ledge below. Unfortunately there was more force then Enma anticipated and the bear started to roll down the ledge and off the trail; falling to the bottom of the mountain.

Enma was sure the bear was fine....maybe. Even so he wasn't game enough to go check, especially since he worked a bit to get this far. He decided that he would stop here for lunch and continue in a bit after his nerves had calmed down a bit.

This post marks the beginning of my mission and narrative following these storyboard elements:
  • Explore an abandoned site
Summary:
Enma continues on his journey. Whilst travelling he starts compiling a list of techniques that he could use to quicken his travel. As it starts getting late, Enma begins to look for a suitable place to make camp but accidentally stumbles his way into an abandoned mine shaft.

Enma gathered himself as he ate. Even though he could use these techniques, he was never really a fighter. Adelheid was usually the member of the group that pushed everyone to get stronger and would be the main protector. He shook his head as he finished his quick lunch and continued onward, the beginnings of a list forming within his mind, he had a few techniques that he could recall off the top of his head, that would be beneficial for him to travel faster, he just needed to select the most efficient jutsu for the job.

Time passed as Enma continued his way along the mountainous trail, deep in thought. It wasn't until he heard a distant howl behind him that he realized that the nocturnal animals would soon be coming out of their homes to hunt for food. And knowing his luck, Enma could very well be on the menu, if they ran into each other. He needed to find a good place to set up camp, somewhere that he could have a view of the surrounding area as well as make it secure against any night raids from hungry beasts. He estimated that he had at least 2 hours or so before it would get too dark for him to see.

Enma stopped and began to gather his chakra into his feet, he had finally made his choice. His best and quickest option would be to travel his way through the ground below. Each step he took, the ground seemed to morph around his feet, slowly descending into the ground with each step he took. He hadn't used this particular jutsu in awhile but he recalled the process easy enough, he was about up to his waist now and without hesitation tilted forward and almost dived into the earth. Circulating his chakra through out his body, he would make the earth he touched around him turn into a fine sand as he burrowed his way through it, letting it settle back into its normal form once he had passed by. He realized he was technically "swimming" through the mountain and would definitely have to retell his family about this comic notion.

What Enma had not realized was that this was in fact quite tiring for him, I mean...he was 'swimming' through dirt. He was so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed that ahead of him was an open space. "An open area underground? Could it be a cave system maybe?" He proceeded forward until he was a meter or so away from the area and cautiously broke his way through the 'wall'.

The first thing Enma noticed was just how eerily dark it was. Like this was just darkness, he couldn't even see his nose or hands in front of him. The second thing he noticed what the smell, it had a very dusty smell too it with small hints of either damp wood or a metallic sort of smell. He wiggled himself slowly out of his hole in the wall, careful to make sure he has secure footing. He took a second to smell the air properly again to make sure there wasn't the smell of gas or anything that might interfere with his plan to shed some light on the situation. After a tense moment he didn't smell anything that he thought could count as combustible so he reached into his satchel and brought out a single page of blank paper; crumpling it in his hand. Cautiously bringing it closer to his mouth, he gathered a small amount of his chakra into his lungs and gently blew at the paper, releasing the chakra into a small jet of flame. As the paper caught light, he cast it forward as to not burn himself, and watched as the paper cast a dim glow.

First things that caught his attention in the briefly lit space was that he was in some form of tunnel, with wooden support beams spaced intermittently apart from each other, a rusted cart resting at some stoppers at the end of a track. A mineshaft. Fumbling around in his satchel, he was trying to find something he had that he could ignite as a make-shift torch. Coming up empty he decided to repeat his previous idea, except using more then only one sheet of paper this time. He walked over slowly with his hand outstretched to make sure he didn't run into anything, until he felt his hand brush against the cart. He crumpled up some more paper and set it down on the ground next to the cart. Carefully igniting them so that they burned and shed some light, he used his time to scan inside the cart for a lantern or a torch like utensil.

Peering into the cart, the first thing that came to his attention was the pick axe laid down on top of what looked to be a broken lantern. The glass casing had been shattered and any oil that was in the device had leaked out and soaked into the wood below it. The light dimming quickly, Enma grabbed the pick axe from the cart and started to work on removing the actual head from the handle. As the light fades, he manages to remove the axe head, and grabs a stretch of cloth from his bag and ties it to the end of the handle.

Igniting the cloth, he was able to get a more stable light source going as he now began to properly take in his surrounding. To his left, about 20 feet away, the roof of the mine shaft had seemed to collapsed, blocking that way. To his right the tunnel continued onward for about 60 feet before the darkness was to much for the dim light of his torch. The rail seeming cut off at the edge of the cast light. "Well, only one way it seems to go." Pressing to his right, Enma began to walk down along the rail, He had considered using the cart but thought otherwise as he didn't know the condition of the rail further in and if he dropped the torch he could go BOOM. He would rather not burn, explode or crash and he was more comfortable on his feet anyway. He walked at a decent pace along the rail. Not so fast as to not make any unnecessary noise but not so slow as he would consider it dawdling, he still had to make a secure camp and he wasn't too keen on the idea of spending the night down here. He had surmised by now that this was in fact an abandoned mine. Three reasons why it could be abandoned though: one; they had mined what they could and left it., two; the mine had been deemed to structurally unstable to continue operations and three; something dangerous had moved in.

Continuing into the darkness, the torch's light flickering against the walls as he walked alongside the rail, he found himself coming to the end of the shaft. He had half expected it to be caved in as well however to his luck it wasn't. He slowly exited the tunnel into what looked to be an open man-made cavernous area. More accurately it seemed to be the open area that the mine carts would stop to either deliver what they mined or to deliver new tools and equipment through the tunnels. Like an exchange station. To the left and right of the tunnel he had exited were several other openings he could see, each with rails entering them as well. On the opposite side of the area was a single tunnel, slightly larger then the others, and Enma could see a very dim light emanating from it at a slight angle upwards. Following the tunnel, it slowly began to incline the closer he got to the dim light, which wasn't dim per say more just fading as it was close to the very end of the day. As he reached the entrance, he made sure to be alert in case there was anything dangerous. Luck seeming to be on his side he doesn't notice anything and proceeds to exit the mine.

This post marks the beginning of my mission and narrative following these storyboard elements:
  • Set up a secure camp
Summary:
Enma made it out of the mine shaft! Now he has to make sure that the place is secure enough for him to camp, so he will be going around making a couple arrangements to be able to protect him during the night

Enma cautiously exited out of the mine's entrance tunnel, shielding his eyes from the sun that had begun to set beyond the horizon. With his source of natural light slowly descending , he quickly scanned his surroundings to see if this would be a suitable place to camp for the night. The encampment itself was pretty simple, a couple of buildings; one long and one relatively small, a small storage shed and old wire fencing surrounding the perimeter. As far as he knew, this could be a standard set up for this kind of operation, as he didn't know he wasn't going to dwell on it much. He needed to make sure he was safe tonight.

While he had been exploring the area, he had been gathering some light debris; small branches and bark and sticks. Anything flammable he could use to build a small fire. Stacking the sticks and flammables to the side, he constructed a small ring of stones and began stacking the debris; dry leaves and bark first then smaller sticks and twigs and then the larger branches/log. Using a basic fire technique he ignited the stack and had a nice little fire going. He had set it up in from of the smaller building, which he had found to be a small office area for the foreman to have worked in. Any important documentation was removed and it was pretty empty. A good space for him to roll out his bedroll for the night.

With the fire nicely going and the last bits of light glowing below the horizon, he went off to set up a couple of simple traps; maybe a snare to see if he could catch something for breakfast in the morning. He set up two simple wire snares and also set up some simple trip wires that if triggered shot rocks and branches at what triggered it. Feeling satisfied this would be enough to deter the lesser potential threats Enma went back to the comfort of the fire. Its soft glow flickered across his face as he stared at the dancing flames and thought of his friends. His family. It had only been a day but he hoped they were doing well so far. Tiredness began to overcome him, letting out a yawn he gets ready for one last element of security before he went to sleep. The 'shack' he had set himself in was relatively small and had a single entrance at the front of the building and a window that looked out at the encampment. He gathered his chakra and prepared to release it, using the light of the fire to help him find the best position. He releases the chakra into the ground and molds it into a half dome shape that almost covered the entire front of the building, leaving a little opening at the top to let any smoke escape.

Feeling satisfied with his work, Enma climbs into his bedroll and lays down for a good while. Listening to the soft crackling of the fire and watching the fire cast dancing silhouettes through the window. It was calm, relaxing and peaceful; exactly what Enma needed to let sleep take him. Falling deep into slumber for the night.

Summary:
After a long day of training Zapp returns to his clan and notices an eerie feeling around the camp. Needing no investigation he is confronted by a few clansmen who have the urge for blood. Not wanting to hurt his peers Zapp must find means to handle the situation, without causing serious harm to his family, while getting to the bottom of the problem.
A few hours before sunset Zapp casually strolls back to his camp after a long day of training. He was surely beat, and in no condition to protect the women, children, and elders of his clan as he was assigned by the Chief before leaving on his mission with all the other warriors. It must be punishment, Zapp thought to himself. He felt that his fellow warrior clansmen started to treat him different after letting the Chief know that he was retiring early from the squadron in order to travel and see the world. They just didn't understand, he felt, and in no time Zapp entered his camp unawares as he pondered over his personal issues.

Stopping and realizing that he was in the center of his camp and it was eerily quiet, Zapp started to glance around as he looked for the kids that would normally be playing at this time, but instead catches the glimpse of an oncoming kunai to the head in time to dodge with a minor side step. Haha, nice one Jon, but your flick is still a little sloppy.... Zapp says before turning towards a ruffling bush in which the opposing twin dashes fourth from towards him while creating a sword made of iron sand in 1 of his hands. As this happens Jon leaps into the air from out of a tree putting himself above Zapp while creating a sword made of lightning in which he falls down upon Zapp with. Assessing the situation Zapp times his response right and pivots to his side while grabbing the hand of the twin holding the iron sand sword dodging the overall strike before overpowering the kid and directing his blade to clash with his brothers canceling both techniques. He would then grab Jon by his skull pulling him upwards while pulling in his brother in order to make the two headbutt each other causing both to fall on the ground dazed.

What did I tell you all about using techniques in the camp. If you wanna practice just go out-....
Tsch, shut-up for a second Zapp... Arial's in trouble!
Jon says as he gets on his one knee while rubbing his forehead.
W-We were in a genjutsu....hurry she went after the invading clan member by herself! Florence says as he sits up on his butt while making expressions of pain.
Dang! I left you guys here for one second and this happens, tsch!? I can't even get some training in!? Zapp says before dashing off into the direction the young twins pointed him in.

Dashing through the hilly grasslands of Jinyong it didn't take long for Zapp to catch up with the two thanks to his physical specialties, although he was exhausted from his prior activities leaving the shinobi gasping for air as he faced off with Arial and the invader. It was Denim, a member of a rivaling clan called the Miasma who were all skilled in illusionary arts.

L-Let ......her......let.......let her........her.....LET HER GO!! Zapp struggled to get out amidst his deep, exaggerated breaths
Oh Zapp, how I long to fight you to the death one day, but today I've already claimed what I came for hahaha! Denim says in a light manner before taking out one of the clans ancient iron artifacts. Zapp's eyes widened in astonishment as he thought of the many ways the Chief was going to kill him if he let this man get away, but as he dashed forwards to make a move Arial responded and blocked his path taking on a battle stance with a kunai in hand while Denim leaped backwards putting more space between him and the duo. The girl would then perform a series of short stabs at Zapp's torso from various angles which he focuses to dodge with caution while looking for an opening. Side stepping a stab to the mid. section Zapp would then finally retaliate aggressively as he pivots back to his original position while delivering a powerful knee to the girls abdomen sending her back sliding some. Now Arial was much older than the twins Zapp fought before, infact even though she looked the part she was still a year shy of being of age for war if she was a boy, something she envied, as she took pride in her iron sand jutsu. In other words Zapp couldn't take her light, but as the genjutsu induced girl caught herself she made her next move towards Zapp while Denim made his escape.

Tsch, Arial snap out of it! I don't have time for this! Zapp yells as he pulls out a kunai to combat hers, deflecting it to the side with such a force that it pulls the girls body in the same way creating a slight opening to run past her without further fighting, which he takes.

Forget about me Zapp! Or your clansman will die!! Just turn and look! Denim says while waving 1 hand seal triggering the second part of his genjutsu as he continues to make his escape.

Turning back at Arial Zapp notices that she takes out an explosive tag and throws it on the ground besides herself prompting him to immediately halt and turn back towards her at full speeds. With not that much time to act Zapp dashes forwards and grabs the girl as she waves the tiger hand seal prompting the tag to explode which creates a force that hurls the duo away with minor fire damage to their bodies. Landing roughly in a tumbling manner, Zapp looks down to see if his clansman was ok, and she was as she got up from the genjutsu as if it were a dream.

Where am I?

Don't worry, it's over now, I got yah.

Running through the grasslands Zapp heads east at great speeds with the intent of leaving Jinyong.

He was focused, and on a mission of retribution!

Coming from here

Nearing his destination, Ryuu activated his Byakugan, allowing him to now see very clearly the land he was headed towards. Ignoring his current surroundings, the boy pushed onwards.
