Jarteeg

Home to one of the Five Fort; the central hub and largest fortification of them all, Jarteeg is characterized by its deep forests, unremarkable in the Land of Fire, and relatively untouched surface. Beneath the ground, however, the network of tunnels that connect the Five Forts meet in a complex and expansive maze beneath Jarteeg. A small number of local ninja clans compete for control over the fort above while many vagrants from far and wide seek shelter in the deep, unexplored tunnels. The fort itself, though otherwise abandoned, is situated near Jarteeg’s northern edge; a huge fortification of metal walls and towers.

Coming from here

The Tunnels beneath the base had proved uuseful before; knowing there was a near eternal war raging above the city from the bandits and clans above ground, the Tekikage and Kuvira had managed to find the balance the kingdom needed through diplomatic ties with the clans and, when needed, lethal force. The tunnels had connected them the hidden bases around the city and allowed easy navigation through the city to defeat the bandits who remained opposing their rule.

Much like then, Bellatrix was seeking to avoid being seen by those who rumors would spread from; it was no secret her ties to the dark magic of Tobusekai, it's where the clan of warlocks stemmed from in the first place. Having led the Death Eaters, Bellatrix knew it to be quite harmful to the village's success to be seen moving so freely through its buildings. Instead taking the back routes, Bellatrix arrived at the Tekikage's Office.

Looking around, she notices Hela waiting nearby. Moving towards her, she speaks to her as they wait around.

"Hela, nice to see you here," Bellatrix nodded. "I have word from our Northern friends, the Korikage has agreed to my request for a meeting. Lets see how it goes. "

Looking towards the Tekikage's room, Bellatrix spoke. "I wished he would have been here, annoying bastard. We could have departed now"

Hela biography
Mission Elements:
  • Guard someone very important
  • Facilitate a major peace agreement
Summary: Hela is escorting her fellow kisei/fellow village member to Shimo in order to meet with the Kage. While there, she will TRY and keep the situation peaceful.

Hela arrived at Jarteeg through it's hectic maze of tunnels, Atalanta trailing not too far behind. The vagrants that live within these tunnels are not to be trusted, while many are simple bums, many hide down below on the run for they are criminals. Considering there are many of these tunnels unexplored, there's no telling who coild be lurking about. Not that Hela was shook, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Atalanta trailed a considerable distance behind, her bow drawn and her hands at the ready. If anyone suspicious showed themselves, she would be ready to defend her master Hela.

Leaving the tunnels, Hela would approach the Kage's mansion. As Hela travelled she would be greeted with a familiar voice. Looking over to the source, she would see Bellatrix. Hela and Bellatrix were neither friend or foe, simply two wicked individuals that respected each other's power, this mutual respect kept them from sliding in each other's lane. Sharing the same bloodline also provided a pseudo barrier as their clan was not so vast in numbers compared to the likes of the Hyuuga or Uchiha- well not so much the Uchiha - anymore. They both knew a battle between them would result in an unnecessary death, especially when there was no significant reason at the moment.

"I'll escort you. This seems like it's pretty important- also I'd like to meet this Kage and size them up," Hela said half jokingly while letting out a twisted chuckle for added effect. Atalanta arrived seconds later and saw who had greeted Hela, causing her to immediately unready her bow so as not to give Bellatrix the wrong idea and cause a fight.

"By the way, are you still serving- 'him?' I could always use someone like you by my side.

Bellatrix raised an eyebrow at Hela's words, her wand hand twitching. Though she needed her to come with her anyway, Bellatrix didn't like the tone and smugness about the question of the Dark Lord and she had to pause to think of the reason of this meeting. She knew she needed her, Bella couldn't do much about it. With the Liger beast Atalanta approaching, Bellatrix decided to keep her cool. Putting the hand down, Bellatrix rolls her eyes and turns and speaks coolly to Hela.

"The Dark Lord is still the Dark Lord, yes. If you're accompanying me, then you and your beast need hurry; we have a meeting to attend."

The group departs the landmark, going towards Khulna.

Upon arriving to the next fortification Genji for a moment looked behind himself, at carnage he had caused... in his ensuing ramapage he had left a barren wasteland that stretch onwards for hundreds of miles. All the crops had vanished, thousands of people erased from exsistence... but there was no turning back.

Upon arriving to the next fort Genji was surprised to see the land was still bustling.. people from here had yet to evavuate.. this however didn't make what he had to do harder. He was a killer.. whether he enjoyed or not he was a killer.

Genji needed to power the weapon core and in order to do that he had to gather enough emotion and power from his actions to craft the ultimate weapon. Of course he had to become the worlds biggest criminal in order to do so.

The young assassin would channel his Wujin once again before unleashing yet another disaster upon the people of Tanigakure. The black waves of apocolapyse would erase all physical matter... Jarteeg one of the five forts would cease to be.

(Neidan: Wuji Dao) Internal Alchemy: Way of Nothingness
Type: Supplementary
Rank: D - S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 10 - 70 40
Damage: N/A
Description: This is one of the fundamental Neidan techniques within the Hayabusa clan and the first one learned. This technique returns existence to nothingness/erases from existence. Using one of the three Dantian Hayabusa ninja render existence to nothingness. Depending on the Dantian that is used the user can manipulate physical, vital, or spiritual existence. Regardless of which application is used there are two components that can be utilized: internal or external. These two components describe the technique’s application to one’s self and outside themselves respectively. A Hayabusa ninja who utilizes the internal component with this technique manipulates their own physical, vital, and/or spiritual existence. One who utilizes external component does the same but with any entity other than themselves. Only one of the components can be used for any given application of this technique. As for the applications, only one can be used at a given time. Upon reaching higher jounin ranks (Dragon/Head Ninja and Master Ninja), Hayabusa ninja can utilize all three of the Dantian simultaneously to completely erase their own existence (internal) or that of another entity (external). When erasing one’s own existence with this technique the user can only maintain a state of non-existence for no more than one turn with and must re-appear within 10 meters of their original point. Once the user has gone to nothingness they cannot use any techniques until after they return to reality. Through the external component the user can erase the existence of another life such as summons or other shinobi though it requires prolonged contact with the target (3 turns). After contact is made the victim will begin to vanish from the ground up.

Lower Dantian: The Lower Dantian deals with physical existence. Entities such as solids and liquids, physical entities, and corporeal matter are within this Dantian’s scope. When using the internal component of this application the user is capable of erasing parts of their body as small as: bits of flesh and bone to whole limbs, organs, etc. This ability extends to physical afflictions such as poisons, toxins, pathogens and generally any other thing that integrates itself within the user’s physical being. When using this technique on the body to take off flesh and bone the user will feel as though their flesh and bone have been ripped apart and their body will suffer accordingly. For example: if the user erases their right index finger, they will feel their finger ripped off their body and will bleed profusely until stopped. The external component of this technique takes the form of transparent visual distortions similar in nature and appearance to the voids of kamui though with the ability to vary in shape and size. The shape and size are dependent on the rank of the technique. As well as the amount of matter in which one can erase is also dependent on the rank. Lower ranks means smaller areas of effect and less matter that can be erased. This technique has the ability to combat against techniques of equivalent rank or chakra input. With the external component, if anybody other than the user makes contact with the technique, they will suffer just as the user would if they used the internal component of this application. The external component of this application can be made within short range of the user but not the target unless both parties are in close range. Even then, the user cannot manifest this technique directly on their opponent without physical contact.

Middle Dantian: The Middle Dantian deals with vital existence; the existence of energy. Non-solid/liquid entities like plasmas, fire, lightning, raw chakra forms, and otherwise ethereal entities fall within this Dantian’s scope. The internal component of this application is rather simple, the user erases chakra/energy that exists within them either their own or that of another’s that is connected to the user. The amount of chakra the user can erase is proportional to the rank they use for this application. As for the external component, similar to the Lower Dantian, voids of various shapes are created which erase the chakra/energy, ethereal, and/or vital nature of entities. Again, like with the Lower Dantian, the user cannot directly manifest a chakra erasing void upon their opponents; contact with the void or between the user and the target must be established to directly affect the target.

Upper: The Upper Dantian deals with the spiritual existence of an entity. Spiritual techniques, consciousness, mental capability, and spirits are all within this Dantian’s control. The internal component of this application controls the existence of illusions, consciousness, sentience, within the user. Enemy techniques that deal with mind control or that inject their consciousness within the Hayabusa can be defended against with the internal component. Likewise, the stability and power of illusions and other spiritual techniques attached to the user can be cut down according to the rank/chakra of this technique. The external component of this application is a little different than the others. Unlike the Lower and Middle Dantian which cannot effect an opponent directly, this Dantian’s application can. With the external component the user can cause the spiritual energy of a sentient being dwindle to nothingness as long as the user has sensory perception of their target and is within range. The result of erasing the spiritual being comes in the form of fatigue and a lack of focus which prevents the target from using higher ranked techniques and progressively dims their consciousness. For example: C-ranked usage will prevent use of Forbidden rank techniques and B-rank usage would prevent S-rank and above and so on. The constraints are as follows: Only chunin level Hayabusa and above can use this technique (as it starts at C-rank) and the user must be within and maintain mid-range of the target to use C and B-rank. A-rank requires short range and S-rank direct physical contact. While using this application only two techniques can be used per turn. If the victim gets out of range of the user they will become capable of using their full power in the following turn.

Note: This technique is learned at genin level and follows similar rules for each rank. Genin can only use D-rank applications, chunin = C-rank, jounin = B-rank (upper) A-rank (lower and middle), Dragon/Head Ninja = A-rank (upper) S-rank (lower and middle), Master Ninja = All ranks.
Note: Genin and Chunin are required to use 5 to 3 hand seals respectively for any application’s external component. Jounin require one hand seal, Dragon/Head, and Master Ninja can use up to B-rank with no hand seals. Contact between user and opponent requires no hand seals.
Note: When using the external component of the Upper Dantian, using the A-ranked and above will render an opponent comatose after two turns. C and B-ranks will simply render one unconscious after 4 turns. Each turn of maintaining drains half the original chakra cost. While maintaining no other application of this technique can be used.
Note: Upper Dantian usages, regardless of the component can only be used once every other turn. A-ranked and above usage requires a two turn cool down.
Note: S-rank applications of this technique requires a one turn cool down for the Middle and Lower Dantian.
Note: To erase completely the existence of oneself or of another the user must use 70 chakra. Unlike the external component where it takes three turns to erase another, the internal component is instantaneous in its nature due to a lack of resistance from the user applying it to themselves. Upon using this advanced application either internally or externally the user will be unable to use any Neidan technique for the next two turns. Dragon Ninja and Head Ninja can use this application twice per battle and Master Ninja 3 times per battle.

Resetting here this Arc as Magnus with his slight

- Steal an important document - B rank
- Infiltrate an enemy's base - B rank

Magnus decided it was time to make his move once more out in the open world, yet to do that he'd have to start here. Though he seemed a young Uchiha, he had lived an eventful life and now with full control of his power it was time to take things into his own hands. And so he found himself here, staring up at the great fortress, one of the five known to his land of birth. So many bad memories of the land yet it bothered him not, like he was detached from his past life.

And so he looked on at the fortress filled with hostile forces, though it was home to a certain document that would hold the secret to what he was looking for. A document detailing the last know location of someone of interest to Magnus.

He looked on from the shadows of the trees in the distance as guard patrolled the fortress routinely, a tight nit security. It wouldn't be easy to try and take it with pure force, well, maybe it would be for Magnus, but it wasn't his goal. He simply wanted the information for minimal effort. Well it was time to test his infiltration skills.

First of all he would activate his cloak, this was a chakra masking cloak allowing him to approach without being sensed in the process. He didn't want to have to fight a mini army. With that active it was safe for him to passively activate his eternal mangekyo sharingan. The perfect form of perception allowing him to track and perceive all motions and precisely calculate his every move and action. Watching as the guard passed around the battlement of the fortress, that's when Magnus took action. Focussing on the spot where the door was as the guard goes around the corner, silently two portals form, one in front of Magnus and one at his target destination. He jumps into the one before him, coming out on the battlements of the fort, landing silently, before slipping inside just as the guard reappears.

[Tarnkappe, Shigurudo No Tate] – Tarnkappe, The Cloak of Sigurd
Type: Tool
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: The Tarnkappe, or Cloak of Sigurd, is a garment which is intended to protect the wearer from the cold, rain and wind. This cloak is no different in that fashion, it is fastened around the neck with a small black chain, its length extending down to the middle section of the calves, additionally it has an attached hood. The cloak is designed as a white cloak with patterns of black lightning across it. The cloak is the designed with a unique fabric, known as kevlar, a material which allows it to stop incoming basic weapons such as swords, axes, kunai, senbon etc up to a C rank projectile, anything after that will destroy the wiring within the cloak, rending it useless. It will cause bladed weapons thrown or swung to strike to bounce off the cloak, and it applies to the general forms of none damage enhanced freeform combat. In addition to the cloak’s unique complexion, it has some unique features which the wearer can activate through surging his energy through it. The first feature that the Tarnkappe is in the possession of, is a unique technology known as motion sensors. These motion sensors are situated all across the cloak, allowing it to detect any changes in the air around the wearer, and detect the motions of animals, humans or even tools within the vicinity of short-range of the cloak. Thus the cloak acts as a form of sensory in the way that it detects any motions within short-range of the wearer this is done through technology more than chakra. Conclusively, the cloak has one final feature, which masks the wearers presence. Whenever the wearer pulls the cloak around his body and the hood over his head, it has a unique device implanted into it, which emits a frequency that masks his chakra effectively concealing him from chakra sensors as well as concealing his body in the sense that it conceals his chakra circuit from foreign eyes. This allows the wearer to blend into his surroundings more freely. What this can't do is hide the users heat signature or smell.

Note: If the cloak is hit by B rank or above, it will short circuit being rendered useless.
Note: The motion sensors only work short range around the user, taking 5 chakra per turn
Note: Hiding themselves can be used twice per battle with two turns between the users and lasts for a maximum of four turns.

(Doujutsu: Kaen no Kōfuku: Farsight) - Eye Technique: Enshi
Rank: Forbidden
Type: Supplementary, Defensive, Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40 (70)
Damage points: N/A
Description: Farsight is a space/time Mangekyou Sharingan ability linked to both the users eyes. The user will focus on a single spot with his right eye, as he does that spot will glow as sparks spiral outwards tearing open a hole in space, creating a portal to the users own realm, the mirror realm. With this portal open, the user can focus to move the portal forwards of backwards, taking anything that it passes over into the mirror realm. While this spiralling energy tears open the hole in space, it's generally not harmful, but if something is caught in the portal when it's closing, it will cut into what ever is caught dealing 100 damage points to anything caught in a closing portal, as the doorway to the mirror dimension is severed. The portal forms as fast as amaterasu, the focus before the spark like energy spirals outwards. The portal can be up to 2m in diameter. Moving the portal can be done passively. The portals forming are silent. The user can make two linking portals, where he passes through the mirror realm to open up another with one use of this jutsu. He can make the two linking portals without having to pass through them.

The mirror realm is exactly as it states, it's a mirror image of the world we all all see. Just back to front, like looking at a reflection. If the user is fighting in a village, it will look exactly the same but a reflection of it it. If it's daytime in the real world it will be day time in the mirror realm. If it's raining in the real world it will also be raining in the mirror realm. Now what makes this truly unique is how the users left eye works.

The left eye is linked to the mirror realm itself, what ever the user can see in the mirror world he can bend and fold space within. The user can focus on a single or large point to bend the laws of physics itself. He can make concrete seem like a trampoline, he can make buildings bend without breaking, the very air solid like a pain of glass, similar as to how Yin Release: Change into Heaven can change the properties of an element, this power allows the user to change the properties of space in his own realm. From making glass seem like rubber, the air dense as stone to stop someone moving, folding the space in a certain area so the ground becomes the side like a wall, a building is now the roof and what was now right is down, the user can fold and bend space as much as they like. They can't remove gravity or, just bend the world around so the effects of gravity can cause them to fall where the ground is no longer below them. The user is unable to completely change an object, he can't turn stone to fire or solid to gas (or vice versa), but can change the texture and density and state of matter of anything physical he may see, stretching a 10x10 meter area. Solid rock can become as soft as dirt to break through, or glass can become as solid as steel, or even act like a trampoline, changing the physical structure of what he sees rather than converting it to something else.

You must be registered for see images

Note: Can use these portal abilities a total of 8 times per battle with his EMS active and he can use the space warping ability of his left eye 6 times per battle.
Note: If an opponent with no means to return to the normal world is sent to the mirror realm, he cannot return unless the user brings him back, unless they have a method of travel through space/time.
Note: To perceive and have a chance to react to this technique, the targets need to have at least MS level of perceptions or be wielders of Space/Time techniques themselves.
Note: Must have EMS active
Note: Can only be used by The pervy Sage

( Doujutsu: Eien no Mangekyou Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 70 ( -20 per turn to keep active )
Damage: N/A
Description: The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan literally meaning " Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye", is the final step in the evolutionary state of the Sharingan. While Mangekyo Sharingan is but an imperfect Dojutsu, unable to sustain and keep its own power, weakening with each use, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan brings control and balance to the power wielded. By merging the users own MS with that of his sibling, the use is able to awaken the EMS. The EMS grants the user the same abilities granted by MS but to unsurpassed levels. While granting the user the ability to perceive the world with increadible insight, it also grants the user the ability to see through S-Rank visual illusions and track the movement speed of almost anything, perfecting the already amazing abilities of the standard MS, like casting Genjutsu without the need for handseals as long as a line of sight to the target is available. A unique feat however, is that once the user awakens EMS, he loses access to his normal MS, transitioning from 3T form to EMS directly. While MS damages the user as time passes and severely tires and drains the user as its used, the EMS doesn't. The user can keep it active without losing his eyesight or damaging himself and can use the normal MS techniques with no activation reduction or drawbacks. Its true that the chakra cost is higher, but the user will feel little to no effect in his stamina and energy. Through his EMS, Madara gained the ability to control Tailed Beasts by forcefully using his sharingan genjutsu/mind manipulation abilities to take control of the Bijuu and temporarily sever its connection to the host. If the Jinchuriki is in normal form or entering one of the transformations, it's blocked from transforming for 3 turns. If it's in incomplete form, it's forced back into normal form and left unable to access his bijuu for 3 turns and if its in complete form, the user gains control over the bijuu, manipulating its movements/actions completely for 2 turns or until the complete form ends (whatever comes first), leaving the host unable to acess his bijuu for 3 turns.
Note: Only usable by bios with EMS after meeting the necessary requirements.
Note: User needs to have activated his 3T Sharingan beforehand
Note: Once activated, lasts 10 turns per use and once the user has held the ability for 4 months, can be done passively, with no move cost.
Note: Using MS techniques don't reduce the activation time.
Note: Controlling a Bijuu is an exclusive ability of Madara Uchiha and can only be done once per battle. Once the control ends, the EMS reverts back to a 3T Sharingan. If the control is done on a complete form Jinchuriki, then the user can't do any other technique while controlling the enemy.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: While active, as long as a clear line of sight and the range is respected, the user can cast normal non-Doujutsu Genjutsu without the need for handseals. However, Doujutsu illusions still require eye contact (if feasible) or their own requirements; this ability only affects regular Genjutsu.

Now inside he stopped. This fortress was old, not in the sense of it was crumbling but an ancient fortification that still stood as a stronghold. But now where to? He smiled to himself. He probably should have thought this through a bit more. He stayed in the shadows out of sight for a moment, then he made a decision. With his yin/yang sensory powers he could feel the life of everyone in the fortress and how strong they were. Though what this didn't tell him was where the document was that he wanted. He pondered for a moment. He could sense a few of the stronger shinobi down below him, one floor down. Well there was only one way to find out if that's the place he wanted.

He would use a skill known as his inner sonar, increasing his hearing potential in order to allow him to listen in on the people below. While he could feel people going in and our of the room. Mostly, it was just chatter while people reporting in. Something about supplies, something about perimeter run. "How boring can these guys be..." Magnus thought to himself. That's when he heard it, about placing the documents gathered on the shelf by the door. Maybe he was in the right place.

(Ototon: Naiteki Ne no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Inner Sonar Skill
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10 (-1 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will enhance their hearing by infusing his ears with sound chakra. Then, by utilizing chakra and enfacing his lungs, the user will be able to control the frequency and intensity of the sound emitted from his simple breathing. This low frequency, inaudible sound is passively emitted and has no effect other than emerging from him and bouncing off of objects. Using the enhanced hearing, the user is able to know where everything is around them, effectively creating a sonar effect through the rebound and reflection of sound waves. The hearing and the sonar effect is precise enough so that one can effectively use it to substitute one's vision in battle if needed. Despite being very effective, specially if the user has any of his other senses hindered, it also leaves the user vulnerable to sound genjutsu or sound attacks which will be much more drastic in its effects.
Note: Lasts 6 turns

He made his way downstairs, listening out and sensing all in the fortress to avoid any confrontation. He wasn't interested in a fight but looking at the situation it seemed this could be the only way to get these guys out of the room he wanted to search. Using chakra in his feet he climbed up the wall and knelt above the doors to the room he wanted to enter. Now it was time for a bit of fun. The beauty of such a powerful doujutsu was it's ability to cast genjutsu with such control and making them extremely believable.

He waited for the doors to open. Reading the motions and perceiving the actions of those within, Magnus timed it so he could make eye contact with the guy he believed to be in charge. That's all's it took. he planted the illusion in the man's head of the sounds of a fight outside. A struggle, someone was attacking the fortress. It was then that he began barking orders, for everyone to get out, and go secure the fort, to not let anyone in etc.

( Doujutsu: Genjutsu Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye Illusion
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15 - 40
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique is simply the use of generic genjutsu used by members of the Uchiha clan. By simply having their opponents look into their eyes, the Uchiha can lock the user within a genjutsu of their choosing.
Note: Can only be used with 3 tomoe sharingan

Magnus watched from the shows as they all raced out scrambling to look for intruders before sliding into the room. He knew he was on a time limit but he wouldn't need long. As he dropped in the man he cast the genjutsu on was about to protest but Magnus simply put him to sleep with a single look.

( Doujutsu: Chouetsu no Shunmin ) – Eye Technique: Transcend to Deep Slumber technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will use their Sharingan to cast an illusion upon the opponent by looking them into their eyes; this illusion makes the enemy fall asleep but makes them think they are still watching the opponent without realizing they have fallen asleep.
Note: Requires direct eye contact with 2 Tomoe Sharingan and up.

With that he walked over to the shelf full of scrolls. Now knowing the person he was after there was only one way to tell if a document was about him "Top Secret". Within the minute he found the one he was looking for. That was easy enough. Though he could hear the group returning. Mumbles of the man going crazy. Well that was the cue for Magnus to leave. Having aquired what he wanted he didn't really need anything else and so releasing all his jutsu he'd pass into the ground, becoming one with the surroundings and make his way from the fortress to the outside of the forest.

(Hiru Banshō: Bōka no Jutsu) - Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20 (-5 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: Using this jutsu, the user can merge with another passive object and take on its properties to avoid any damage. While merged, the user is virtually undetected unless the enemy has a doujutsu. Even chakra sensors won't be able to pinpoint the users position. The limitation of the technique is that to use a technique and mold chakra, the user must fully unmerge although doing so doesn't produce any sound and the user can only be sensed once fully unmerged. The user is still aware of the world outside the object and can travel inside it at his normal running speed. The technique was used so far by 3 ninjas (Yamato, Orochimaru and Uchiha Madara) but as an advanced ninjutsu, it can be used by any skilled enough ninja.
Note: the user must be Sannin Rank and above
Note: Orochimaru and Yamato can use it 5 times per battle, Uchiha Madara can use it 3 times, other ninjas can use it twice.
Note: Cannot merge into mediums which aren't tangible

As he finally released his jutsu he stopped for a minute leaning against the tree. It might of seemed easy enough for him but the drain of chakra from such techniques, left he feeling a little tired. After getting a safe distance from the fort he decided to rest.

He arrived at the encampment only moments before the strategy council was to begin, flanked by a small honor guard, each handpicked from the Galadhrim Legion. They remained at the entrance as I watched him approach.

Some men cast a shadow greater than themselves, but few could bring a darkness such as this, one that circled above us and hungrily cawed. In a way, the ravens that seemed to follow him around the camp were a grim reminder of every warrior’s fate, the tattered cloth in their beaks a match for the state of our own banners. Yet, as he strode into the remains of the war tent, I realized I had not prepared myself for how truly mortal he looked.

There was grey in his hair, framed by the silvery and black cloak. His battle-worn armor gave way to a functional coat, and he kept his arms tightly within its folds, as I imagined one of his lineages might. I smiled, for he was still, at his heart, a man of honor. He wore no signs of rank beyond the telltale scars of a man who had seen his share of bloodshed. There were many gathered now for the council who demanded more fear and respect, swaying their war hosts with powerful display of strength. Each of them seemed more than capable of breaking the man before us.

But, somehow, this was the man who led us all. The Commander of the Galadhrim Legion and Grand General of Gondolin.

Looking at him, I could feel there was something I could not place, no matter how closely I looked. Something truly unknowable, perhaps? Perhaps it was because there was something unknowable about this man, that so many flocked to his side. Whatever the draw, Mandos the Judge stood before us now, and it was far too late for me to turn back.

Five warhosts had marched onto the Jarteeg plains, but it had been only a matter of weeks before the local army that had formed from the clans around the fortress had shattered our position. They blasted through our hastily constructed berms with explosive poweder, mined from the hills that seemed even more barren since the battle had begun. The shells and explosions of our power had scorched the earth. Disaster had built upon disaster, until Mandos himself had no choice but to intervene. I had made sure of that.

For months, I had prepared. I had sent warmasons deep into the mines. I had mapped every detail, every conceivable twist of the land. The fates upon which the Noldor now balanced, the whispers that gave each moment shape.

My ear itched at the memory of the pale woman’s words. Of the moment she first commanded me and gave voice to our plot.

Everything was in place. I had accounted for it all. Here, where the earth opened into a maze, and a thick forest impossible to escape, I and I alone would determine the future of the Noldor.

After all, was that not what Mandos had called upon this council to do?

“My trusted Generals,”
Mandos said finally. The power in his voice rang out like the drawing of a blade. He paused, as if giving us a moment to test ourselves against its keen edge. “Tell me how the Noldor may prevai.”

“There are twelve war-barques here, in the hills,”
commander Nyvorlas began, pointing to a spot on the map already worn white by his attention, “each drawn by several war-elephants. Send them before the warbands, and we’ll be marching over the enemy dead. Those beasts would rut with a hedge of rusty spears if we let them.”

He smiled, pleased at his own cunning, but Mandos was more concerned with the wine being poured into his glass.

Will it be poison? His eyes seemed to ask, as he peered around the table. I stared at my reflection in his armor. I would betray nothing of my intent.

“We can scarcely control the elephats ourselves,” Mandos finally murmured, carefully regarding the fine Gondolin vintage. “Imagine even a single explosive, dropped from above within earshot of the beasts. And then tell me, in your imagination, who runs first, the elephants with their tails between their legs? Or your vaunted warhost?”

“We sorch the earth then,”
commander Maela petitioned before Nyvorlas could respond, the words flying wildly from her mouth. “Set fire to the entire forest. Drive them out of those damn mines and forest and into the fortress.”

Mandos sighed. “We came here for the very earth you would burn. Though I suppose it is too much to expect you to know the uses of the land.” He swirled the wine in his glass, betraying a hint of disappointment. “all you have done so far is bury your own men with it.”

“The Woodland Legion is still sharp,”
commander Nindaer spat impatiently from the shadows where he lurked, the darkness seeming almost bright against his dwarven metal armor. “We’ll enter the mines after dusk, take out their leaders. Clean or messy. Doesn’t matter.”

“An admirable strategy,”
Mandos laughed. “but those leaders are not soldiers. Not yet. Our enemy here merely follows whoever bellows the loudest. Kill one, and there will be three bellowing by morning.”

I laughed, nodding to the frowning leader of the Woodland Legion. “For a moment, I was afraid you’d find a way for us to actually win, Nindaer.”

Silence fell around the table. The candles were burning low beside the maps.

This was my moment. The pale woman would be pleased. I would say her name as I sent our Grand General to oblivion.

“The truth is, you cannot win this battle,” I continued. “No one can fight death. Not even the King of Gondolin.”

Mandos and the others watched as I carefully drew the flint striker from my tunic. The fuse line was already in my other hand. Nyvorlas, the aging hero of the Siege of Gondolin, bristled.

“Galassion, what are you doing?” he growled, glancing down at the crude demolition charge I had carefully positioned under the table, barely an hour before. “You would threaten the Grand General? This is treason.”

Still, none of them dared approach me. I held the striker over the fuse, ready.

Except, someone was laughing. It took me a moment to realize who it was.

“And there, General Galassion is the only one who has the right of it,” Mandos chuckled, smoothing the wrinkles from his cloak. “He alone understands. The rest of you, you see a battle and ask what you must do to avoid defeat. But some battles cannot be won. Sometimes, the only strategy is to burn. To charge into the flames, knowing full well you will die, but that twenty thousand march behind me. And behind them, there is a greater power.”

He let his coat fall open, to reveal.

“Galassion and I,” Mandos said with a cruel smile, “we always look for what must be sacrificed in order to win.”

Nindaer lunged for my trembling hands, Maela too. But it was Mandos inhuman grip that clamped around my throat, hefting me from the ground, the unlit fuse forgotten.

“If only you could tell her yourself how you failed,” the Grand General whispered, his voice rumbling with the wrath of eons. “If only she, too, could heed the wisdom of the dead.”

I tried to screa then, to confess it all. To somehow beg for forgiveness.

But there is nothing now, save for the soft murmur of whispers. I spill my secrets, this tale, into your ears, fading like the rustling of wings, as the ravens cried into the distance, my lifeless body falling to the ground in the tent, the Grand General still standing.

This post marks the start of the mission, utilizing the following storyboard elements:

  • Deal with a problem in a tactical manner [A-rank]
Overall mission difficulty: A-rank

Summary: The morning after the attempted murder on Námo the Judge, the warhosts are about to initiate their assault on the Fortress, but first they must make their way through a dense forest and through the tunnels below, facing the dangers of the defending force under the Pale Woman.
Characters Involved: Námo [bio], Commander Nyvorlas, Commander Maela, Commander Nindiar and the Warhosts. The Pale Woman and her warband.

-------

As we walked through the thick shrubbery of the forest, the density of the trees made it difficult for the rising sun to penetrate the crowns above. The humidity was killing us, we could feel the dew begin to evaporate as the heat of the sun began to heat up the forest. It was going to be a day with scorching levels of heat, but we were prepared.

I was walking along side him, the Judge, Mandos as he was known to all of us. We were making our way through the forest; his plan was set in motion. I commanded the archer regiment and the war-carriages of the warhost, the host of archers marching behind the front, while my carriages were riding with Mandos and the Galadhrim Legion. We had formed a front line prepared to take on the coming waves of enemies. The Galadhrim support by my archers and war-carriages, while Nyvorlas formed two flanks on either side of us, made entirely of pikemen, prepared to defend us, or commence their pincer maneuver. We had left the war-elephants in our camp, as the forest was too dense for them to move through, and Mandos had entirely dismissed our proposal of scorching the earth.

While we were making up the bulk of our twenty-thousand-man war host, an ever-looming danger to the Pale Woman and her Fortress, we waited for their assault to drive us back. We knew they had to face us in the open, or we would end up cutting off their supply lines. What we expected them to miss, was our warriors from the Woodland Legion, led by Nindiar. Skilled swordsmen who were by now making their way through the tunnels below, assisted by the maps made by our now deceased commander Galassion. We expected them to make sure that none of us would be assaulted from behind, and that they would clear out the tunnels, while we made our way forward, with our shield wall.

I had never doubted Mandos before, until this day. I was uncertain of his intentions and why he had decided to go forward with this tactical decision. We were more than certain to have grave casualties. Was he driven by more than justice and the aim of driving the Pale Woman out of these lands? Was this the feeling Galassion had when he decided to attempt to assassinate him.

The first thing we heard was a rumbling sound, as if the very earth was telling us to leave. The trees were shaking, as leaves began to fall, the dirt below was were shifting and it was just after that, that we saw it. Thousands upon thousands of warriors clad in armor, wielding swords, hatchets, pickaxes, halberds and seemingly any weapon imaginable. The very ground was shaking below their footsteps. I could feel my throat as I sank, sweat began to appear as my judgement was clouded, I wanted to run, I wanted to not be part of this. There was one thing that stopped me from doing just that. It was Mandos, he stood at the very front. He was calm, he did not seem to be phased by the theatrics and the size of the enemy’s army.

“Do not worry Maela. For when this day is over, they will all but be a memory of our past. You, and you alone will stand by my side, as the victors of this battlefield.”

The words that he spoke resounded with me. I felt how calm he was and the will that drove him to these actions. He bolstered by moral with such simple words.

It was then that the enemy struck, they stormed forward, not in formation, but as an incohesive mass. They would rush forward with blinding rage, with a single purpose with their lives. To slay every single last one of us. I drew back behind the wall of elven shields, while Mandos stood at the front. He gave me the signal. I shot a single blinding arrow into the sky above, which would explode in a light that could be seen far around us.

As the enemy drew near, I was unphased, as I knew that the first wave of enemies would fall before they would reach us, and as I had predicted, hundreds of arrows would fall through the trees above, striking down the enemy by the hundreds. It was a single volley, and it would be the only volley we would manage to get off before the enemy was upon us, like water breaking on cliffs. Our shield wall would hold them back, as the blades of our kin would slice through their meager leather vests and chainmail’s.

“Úlime!”

Everyone heard it as a resonating sound, Mandos had commanded us, and as a singular unit we all began to march forward, slowly pushing the waves of enemies back, stepping over the corpses of their fallen men, while those whom had survived the initial strike would be executed by the swordsmen in the Galadhrim Legion. At first, they had no fear in their eyes, their determination unwavering. However, you could see, that over the next our or so of battle, that their will to fight was slowly dwindling. It seemed as if Mandos plan was going just as he anticipated.

As we continued onward, through the forest, we experienced less and less resistance. It was not until their resistance seemed less than adequate, that Mandos stopped in his tracks, having slain the ones in front of him like they were mere bugs. The warhost halted on the very same step as him, our minds as one.

I could see that he was thinking, I could see that his will was unchanged. But something had changed in his demeanor. It was at that moment that I realized it, we had heard nothing from the Woodland Legion in the tunnels below, we had received no support from my archer regiment since the beginning. Something was wrong.

We were at the center of the forest, just about two kilometers away from the forest now. It would have been now that the forces of the Pale Woman would have been the strongest, yet there was no one in sight.

I felt sick, I felt scared for the first time.

Suddenly, the ground shook again. Yet this time, it was not done by a host of warriors, but the ground itself split open, as everything exploded around us. The tunnels had been rigged. Every single tunnel leading across the land and into the Fortress had been rigged. Everything exploded around us in a storm of fire, earth, dirt, and trees splintering. I was struck by a flying branch.

I awoke moments later, trying to grasp what had transpired. My vision was blurred, yet I could make out my surroundings. Our warhost had been decimated. Thousands of our kind had been killed in a single moment, and we were all separated by the rifts from the explosions and fire. I could see that Mandos and Nyrvolas had formed a circle of pikemen around our position. I realized that not only had my archers been killed, but Nindiar and the Woodland Legion must have been killed in the tunnels and if not, they would have died in the explosion. How did it come to this; how did we not see this coming?

As I gathered myself and came up to Mandos and Nyvorlas, I could see the worry in Nyvorlas eyes, yet Mandos seemed unphased. Were we just pawns in his game? The enemy were upon us again, this time from all sides, only the pikemen keeping them at bay.

“Nyrvolas, Maela. For the first time in a long while I was caught by surprise. Yet this changes nothing, we will still be victorious by the end of today. The sacrifice made by our kin and the Woodland Legion will not be forgotten.”

“How do you expect us to survive this!”
Nyvorlas exclaimed. He was clearly out of his mind. He had seen many winters and many battles. He was a battle-hardened soul.

“I have a plan.”

I have a plan. That was all he said.

“You can’t be serious. How do you expect me and my men to hold of all these warriors.”

“I do not expect them to do it. For I will be the one to stop them from breaching through your lines.”

I stood motionless as I felt the anguish and feeling of death grasping at my angles. “What are you going to do to save us?” I asked with a trembling voice.

“Bring judgement upon this world… You were right after all. The earth here has no value to us, it is only what lies in the fortress that is of interest to us.”

Bring judgement.

The skies darkened, as clouds formed above us. Was this the making of Mandos, was he bringing judgement upon the world. Everything went quiet. The enemy warriors had stopped trying to break through our entrenchment. I witnessed as black rain began to fall from the sky, all around us. It was black as the night sky. The rain fell everywhere upon the forest and the scorched earth. Except, it did not rain down on us. There was a single spot in the sky where there was no cloud, but the light of the sun could shine through it and down upon us.

“Eru blesses us with salvation, as I bring judgement upon the heathens who stand in our way.”

As he said these words, I knew we were safe from whatever came next. Yet I was terrified of Mandos. He was not like the rest of us. He was not just a simple elf. He was probably the most dangerous man among us.

As quickly as the sky had turned black with clouds, and the field covered with what seemed like black rain. Just moments after, it happened. All of the enemy warriors would meet a fate similar to that of our kin, as the black rain exploded in a fury of red flames.

“Judgement befalls those who threaten the holiness of the Noldor and shall be paid back in kind.”

Mandos stood as the flames and explosions around us reflected in his eyes. I could see that he felt satisfied, no happy to witness all this chaos and destruction. He witnessed as thousands of men died before him, running for their lives as their limbs were blown apart, or they were incinerated entirely.

The explosions stopped just a minute after they had begun. The forest was no more, it was truly a dark day. The forest gone, nothing but burnt trees, and scorched bodies and the smell of burnt flesh filled the air. I could not believe that we had just destroyed all of this, just to get to the fortress. Mandos turned to us.

“Remember, everything can be rebuilt, everything can be born a new. We will give birth to new life here and we will give birth to a new forest and nourish the land. But first we must drive this witch from the lands and take the fortress.”

We had come this far now. And I knew Mandos had no intentions of turning back now. Even if I wanted to, I could not do so. Since Mandos had arrived two commanders of the Noldor army had fallen, both by his hand, directly or indirectly. I would not be the next to follow. After all, he had always seemed to have a keen eye towards me and Nyvorlas. Even though Nyvorlas presented more of an adversary towards him, rather than a friend. But perhaps that is what Mandos liked about him, someone who challenged him intellectually.

“Gather your men and set up a barricade around the fortress. I will go and make sure no one disturbs us.”

He was going out hunting for living prey, for the remainder of warriors who had not fled into the fortress. We would proceed to do as he asked.

Jutsu used:

[Kayakuton: Atorantisu no Sainan] – Gunpowder: Calamity of Atlantis
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 30(-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: Calamity of Atlantis is a technique that causes it to rain down with gunpowder the size of regular rain droplets, taking command of the skies, it will require the user to perform a single hand seal, while then it will appear as if black rain is falling across the area, or simply in specified areas of the battlefield, the sky having turned black from above. These pebbles of gunpowder will continue to fall upon the field and at the user’s discretion, he can cause the pebbles to explode, creating what will seem like an endless chain reaction of explosions, never losing its potency as it continues to rain and explode [A-rank damage]. Of course, if any form of energy-based techniques is used like lightning, fire or energy-based techniques, it will cause the pebbles to react and begin a chain reaction of explosions with severe results. The chain reaction of explosions will occur for as long as the rain is falling. In addition to the fact that it prevents energy-based techniques usage, the rain of gunpowder can also be utilized as a medium for other gunpowder-based techniques. In addition to the fact that it can be utilized as a medium for gunpowder techniques, if the rain is falling and other gunpowder based techniques are utilized, the pebbles of gunpowder that falls will either add to the strength of the explosion or it will attach itself to the moving projectiles or creatures created by gunpowder [Adding a total of +20 to other gunpowder techniques up to A-rank, +10 for S-rank and above].
Technique is active for a total of 3 turns
Usable twice per battle
Has a two turn cooldown

This post marks the start of the mission, utilizing the following storyboard elements:
  • Investigate the mysterious illness [B-rank (3)] – Cursed Revenge

Calculation: 3 + 2 / 2 = 2.5

Overall Mission Difficulty: B-rank [2.5 round up]

The Siege

The fortress of Jarteeg. Known as the Fortress of the Wicked. We have pushed back the occupants of the land. They have sought refuge within the walls of their great fortress city, thinking that they are protected by the Pale Woman. The land itself has been turned into a wasteland filled with nothing but trees turned to splinters or ashes. Nothing within miles of the fortress would flourish. The only sign of anything living is the rivers that flow through the land around the fortress, and of course the remainder of our Noldor warhost.

It has been two weeks since the battle for the fields around the fortress. I walked through our quickly constructed trenches and encampments, the wooden spikes pointing inward towards the fortress, while our trebuchets stood safely guarded within our vicinity. We had placed guards around the perimeter as requested by Mandos, to ensure that none would enter or leave the fortress without us knowing about it.

As I walked through the trenches, I saw the treatment of my fellow elves, as they were lying in the mud. Their wounds being tended to by others. Some had lost limbs, and others had received severe burns. The worst case I witnessed was an elf whom was lying in the dirt screaming in agony, as both his legs had been torn off by a stray branch that had flown through the air, while splinters were stuck all over his body. It was my first time, being at war, that is. I could feel that this was not something I would ever get used to, and yet Mandos seemed unphased by the tragedies that would occur around him.

We had sent out scouts and hunters across the region, as per the request of Mandos, as he wanted us to seek out anything that could nourish us, if it were wildlife, plants or anything of the kind that could help us in our siege. The hunters would return empty handed, and so would the scouts. The only ones who would return with their baskets full at this time was the fishermen. This would be enough to keep our remaining forces fed for at least another week or two if necessary.

As I came closer to the tent of Mandos, I could hear voices coming from within it. It was easy for me to hear that it was Mandos and Nyvorlas discussing the current situation and what we should do. Perhaps it was time for me to join them.

I pushed the curtain aside, and as I stepped in I could smell the musk off the two men, as they leaned over the table, yelling at each other’s throats about how to best handle the current situation. I stepped inside, the tent was decorated with artifacts and old curtains, chairs and more from Gondolin. It almost felt like home, except for the table at the center which had a large map of the entire region upon it, with every little detail accounted for. As I walked up to the table, the two of them barely noticed me.

“Our people have suffered greatly for this! We have burned, lost our lives and been crushed by large boulders. We even have people dying of arrows and burning oil when we try to get above the walls or attempt to breach the gate!” Nyvorlas yelled out as he pointed at Mandos with an expression filled with what seemed like a mix of hatred and distress.

“Nyvorlas, you have to calm down and look at the big picture. We are this close to taking out the Pale Woman, the one responsible for thousands of deaths and the siege of Gondolin… and responsible for killing your wife.” As those words slipped through Mandos lips, he knew he would either antagonize the general or he would make him see reason, or at least what he believed to be reason.

There was a short moment of silence as Nyvorlas just stared at Mandos, not quite believing what he had just said.

“How dare you use her against me! Not only are you crusading against this Pale Woman, you are also using my feelings against me! Not to mention all the men here. They follow you blindly, believing in your cause. What does it bring them? Death and suffering, not to mention this new disease that is spreading, the so-called Red Fever!”

The room went silent once more, as Mandos sat down in his chair made of a dark almost black tree. He was rubbing his head as he was thinking about the entire predicament.

“Maela… Welcome to the discussion. Do you have anything to add. Perhaps some concerns like Nyvorlas here.” He addressed me. He sounded tired.

“I have seen what our soldiers are experiencing. I know this is my first real battle, but I believe that Nyvorlas has a point. We need to tend to our people and make sure that this disease does not spread any further among us.” I said, my voice stronger and more persistent than I thought it would be.

“Hm… I see. Do either of you have any suggestions of how to handle this disease?” The question floated in the air for quite some time.

“Can’t we just put everyone in the medical tents and have the physicians tend to them?” I replied.

“That would just make everything worse. The disease is spreading like wildfire through out encampment. It seems to spread through touch and perhaps even through liquids and food. We are lucky that it seems its not an airborne disease.” Nyvorlas glanced at me, he must think that I am stupid.

That is when Mandos uttered the words that I for once expected of him to say in this current time.

“Quarantine…” he uttered. “Place everyone who is showing any kind of symptoms into quarantine. Place them in a remote encampment outside of our perimeters.”

The words had to sink in for both me and Nyvorlas, it was for once a reasonable decision, despite it also being one that sounded like it was a death sentence for the ones infected.

“How do you intend to proceed with such an act, to secure the camp? And what about those escorting the infected out of the camp?” Nyvorlas pondered.

“Everyone involved in the movement of the infected, will be placed in a third camp that is between ours and the infected one, where they must remain for a total of forty-eight hours. If they show any signs of the disease within those two days, then they will be quarantined as well, if not they are allowed back into our ranks.”

I and Nyvorlas shared a look, it was one of a simple understanding, we did not wish to catch this disease ourselves, as we had seen our dangerous it was.

“Who will be in charge of this process?” I asked.

Before I even finished my sentence, Mandos stood up and looked at me with his intense eyes.

“I will handle the infected myself together with the guards that I select for the process.”

So, he intended to lead the infected people out himself, together with his personal guards from the Galadhrim Legion.

“While this is going on, I leave Nyvorlas in charge of our defenses and the control of siege. I expect him to be able to hold our defenses… As for you Maela. You will be tasked with the well being of our forces, make sure that you and your company handle all the supplies and keep everyone healthy.” He looked at Nyvorlas and then back at me, with a stern expression. He had made up his mind, and both Nyvorlas and I nodded in acceptance.

As the meeting was disbanded and we went our separate ways. I could see Nyvorlas went directly to the frontline of the camp and began to order his men around. He was most likely telling them all to tighten up and gave them orders to prepare for anything that the enemy would throw at us. I myself would go to my own camp near the back of the line. There I would take the necessary preparations, telling my commanders to get their men in line to prepare supply lines across the encampment and get me precise data on how many supplies we had left.

Several hours went by as my men continued to walk in and out of my tent with various information and continued to gather men to expand the supply line to assist Nyvorlas and our men.

Suddenly, my men came through the tent panting, they seemed to have been running.

“Ma’am you have to see this.”

I rose out of my chair and walked out the tent. What I saw was both incredible and terrifying at the same time. At the front was several Galadhrim Guards, followed by a long line of elven soldiers, all of whom were infected. They all seemed to be ill, and it must have been with this unique disease, since this is the first time in history that the Noldor had been caught with any form of disease. It seemed like an age that me and my men just stood there, watching as our fellow elves walked past. All of them headed for the camp that we had set up with the medical supplies necessary to treat them and investigate the disease. At the end of the line, walked Mandos himself. Striding along, head held high as he seemed more determined than ever. It filled me with awe and inspiration, as he had always achieved his goal, and knowing that he would battle this disease gave me a certain level of comfort.

Two days had passed since the elves who were identified to have the disease had been escorted out of our perimeters. The general moral of the camp had increased, while Nyvorlas had managed the defenses with formidable skill. However, we had experience fewer and fewer attempts to break through our siege. It seemed like the people within the fortress had become preoccupied with another matter. Perhaps they had also been subject to this new disease. If so, this would make our siege a lot easier to accomplish.

However, what made me most concerned, was that none of the guards who had followed the infected out of our encampment had returned, neither had Mandos. Even with this incredible success of keeping the camp free of the disease for now. This was something I had to investigate. I left my lieutenant in charge of the supply lines, while I would make my way out of the camp, down the muddy road towards the camp where the guards were situated.

As I reached the guards camp, I found that all the guards were still there, and they seemed perfectly healthy. This was strange. As I asked one of the guards what was going on and why they had not turned ill, he responded that Mandos had deduced through his time with the infected, that the disease is transmitted through touch, and as such we were not infected. He also informed me that the guards in the camp had been tasked with the general well-being of the infected and to keep order around it, but to always keep their distance from the infected. As such they were not allowed to return to the main encampment, to ensure that they would not transmit the disease to anyone further. This was the edict of Mandos.

As I continued my investigation, I had made my way to the medical camp, where I would find the infected all situated in separate tents, where they were being tended to by guards, delivering food and pain killers, allowing the infected to live a relatively calm life in the camp. It seemed that Mandos had handled the situation quite well so far.

I made my way to the large white tent, the one where Mandos would be. I would find him hunched over a table. Across the table was several surgical tools, flasks filled with different liquids, and small canteens filled with different plants, dirt and more. It seemed he was gathering all the different things he could find. On a table nearby I found two large wooden barrels, both filled to the brink with water, turned red from the blood of his patients. On a third table, an elf was strapped down, while he was only wearing underwear. He was under the process of investigation. As I walked closer, I could see that Mandos had extracted blood, as well as made surgical procedures, with scalpels and other tools, to extract parts from the elf. He had also opened one of the legs, all the way into the bone. I could see the different layers, the skin, muscle tissue and the meat itself, all the way into the bone. The blood was still dripping from it, yet it seemed Mandos had managed to stop the bleeding, and the elf was induced into a deep coma.

“Mandos I was growing concerned with the infected and how it was going. Seeing that you remained here, I assumed that the situation was more dire than first anticipated.” I said, as I stood across from him on the other side of the table.

His gaze was fixed on the small flask in front of him, it contained blood. “I have been investigating the disease for the last two days. No sleep, no rest. I have to find out how it works.”

I stood there with a concerned look, he was tired, no, he was exhausted, yet he continued onward.

“Have you found anything specific. Perhaps something that can help us?” I said.

“I have tried every medical procedure I could think of, even the mystical palm technique that increases the healing of the human body. Nothing seemed to work. I even tried to utilize our own heritage. I tried to purify the disease from them by using the power of the silmarilis in different forms. I tried with my own blood. I tried by using some of our abilities. Nothing worked.”

His words were heavy, and he sounded genuinely concerned for the well-being of his people.

“So, what exactly are you doing now?”

“I am investigating if any of the plants, dirt, water or anything from nature will have a reaction on the infected blood. I tried to mix my own blood with the infected one, and the result was the infected blood would cause mine to be infected… So far I found no naturally occurring plant that have any effect on the infected.”
Mandos sank back into his chair for a moment, thinking about what he should try next.

He seemed to have been so thorough, and careful. Making sure that he was never in direct contact with any of the infected while continuing is work.

“Do you have anything you have yet to try?” I asked. I wanted to help, but I had no expertise in the medical field.

“Hm…” He stared at the shelf he had beside him, it was filled with different plants. “Perhaps our own Asëa Aranion… Athelas… will do something against the disease. After all it has some unique healing properties.”

He reached for the small flowers in the canteen. He immediately proceeded to remove the flowers from the rest of the plant. I was standing there in a trance. I was completely fascinated with what was going on. As he continued to prepare the flowers, he was saying a few words to himself. I could barely make them out.

“When the Black Breath blows and death’s shadow grows and all lights pass, come athelas! Come athelas! Life to the dying in the king’s hand lying!”

As he finished with what he was saying, I remembered it. It was a rhyme from a time long passed. He placed the prepared flowers into a small container where he had placed a sample of the infected blood in. As he did so, he watched with his keen eyes. Waiting to see if there was any sort of reaction.

As he looked within the microscope to have a closer look at the reaction that Athelas might have on the infected blood, he sat silent for quite some time.

“What do you see?” I uttered.

Mandos stood up from his table and looked directly at me, his eyes had changed slightly, he seemed. How to best describe it. It felt like he was not as tired as he was just a moment ago, his eyes had been revitalized and he was filled with determination once more.

“It seems that the Athelas plant has some effects on the disease. It is not that significant, but it is something worth noting. The Athelas flower seems to halt the progression of the disease, may it be for an indefinite period or just for a short while. This is definitely something important that we must investigate further.”

So, our own Athelas plant seems to halt the disease for a time at least, this is progress worth continuing with. I was pleasantly surprised, and so was Mandos. I would return to the camp after being cleared by the guards, while Mandos would stay in the infected camp to continue with his research, far into the third night.

( Iryō Ninjutsu: Chakra no Mesu ) - Medical Technique: Chakra Scalpel

Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: D - A
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15 - 30 ( per turn )
Damage Points: 30 - 60
Description: Chakra no Mesu is a special Ninjutsu technique used by medical ninjas. The ninja will focus chakra to their hands. This medical technique then enables the users chakra to transform into small, sharp blades. This can then be used for highly accurate incisions necessary for surgeries and anatomical dissections. Unlike regular metal scalpels, the chakra scalpel can make cuts inside the body without actually creating an open wound, limiting the risks of an infection (although it can also be used to cut the external tissues as well). The chakra scalpel can also be used offensively, although it requires great precision to be effective. Because of this requirement, using the chakra scalpel offensively is highly unusual. In heated combat, even the greatest medical-nin won't be able to exert the precision needed to make fatal cuts, but it can still effectively cut muscle tissues and tendons, rendering the target immobile. Adding to the technique's blade like quality, it also appears to give the user an increased level of durability over their chakra clad hands. The strength and effects of the technique are determined by how much chakra is put into it and how much skill and focus the user has in the technique. Its effects vary according to the targeted body though to cut through strong tissues such as bone, great skill, focus and chakra is needed. The effect can be sustained while the user focuses chakra into it.
Note: Can only be used by Canon Medical Bios or NB Medical Ninjas.

( Iryō Ninjutsu: Shōsen Jutsu ) - Medical Technique: Mystic Palm Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A (2x the amount of damage healed, 200 max)
Damage: N/A
Description: This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by focusing chakra onto their hands, forming an aura of greenish chakra which he then sends into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it very useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique. The limitation of the technique is that it cannot regrow missing body parts or remove with poisons or toxins, though it can heal damage by them. Additionally, perhaps its more severe drawback is the chakra cost, which is much higher than any other medical technique. For each damage point the user of the technique wishes to heal, he needs to spend twice as much chakra. Basically, for x amount of damage the user needs to spend 2x amount of chakra to repair/heal. The user can also use this technique on himself and it can be used with one hand or two and even in two targets at a time or while using another technique with the other hand. The speed of the healing is fast but not instant.
Note: Can be used on up to 2 targets.
Note: Can only be used by Medical Ninja.

Junsei Dageki | Holy shock
Type: Offensive/Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: C-S-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15-40 (15-40 per turn to sustain)
Damage: 30-80
Description: This is one of the most basic applications of the Noldor's KG, the holy fire. It being an energy that they create their kg, holy fire , to shape and control. Using this technique they are able to create a mass off the energy and keep it focused to give it shape in many forms. This can be as simple as creating a small ball of it to a cube. Or getting more creative they can make various weapons, swords, shields, Axes, draggers. WHat ever they can think of that is an innanimate shape they can create from this basic application. This can be also be used to make Waves, pulses, sentient creatures up to the size of the user, barriers, pretty much all basic application of basic elements as well as streams

Clense: (supplementary) Unlike most elements though, this one has two sides to it, the first being how it works. With holy fire there is the offensive part as an energy which comes with it being more focused but the main part is for it to purify. The entire clan being based on intents and making the world pure, allows them to create this energy in an almost non offensive manor. The none offensive manor is called "clense", and this serves to work only on those that have negative intents, like those to harm and destroy. If a person it touched by this holy fire while having negative intends the energy will burn them intensely, reacting to their intent damaging based on rank used. This served as a great way for them to protect their borders so they could test all who tried to enter their woods, any wishing harm upon them would be dealt with swiftly.

Shock: (offensive) This is the offensive version of the element, the user will concerntrate alot more chakra into the shapes waves or streams to causes damage and destruction. This is to defend their borders at all costs. The clense method is purely a way to test intents in various ways. This is for pure power. Much like a stream of fire, or chidori remei, i combines the properites of both using basic shape application.

C to B rank can be made without handseals just hand gestures, A rank can be created freely after forming one seal, the size of the object ranging for the user's needs. Being progressively stronger each rank is abe to make larger items starting with the small basic shapes at C rank to the powerful creatures created via A rank. S rank usage can be used 4 times per battle with two turns between. It can also be used to make large shapes up to 3 times the size of the user.
Note: S rank can only be used 4 times with two turns between each. And no silmarilis jutsu above B rank in the same turn.
Note: The A rank version can only be used once per turn.
Note: Can only be made around the user or on the borders of short range around an enermy
Note: While maintaining a jutsu like creating an animal the user can only use elements that make up the holy fire. Jutsu can only be maintained for 2 turns

Overall Mission Difficulty: A-rank [4]

The Funeral Pyre
The days had gone by at a slow pace. We were sitting in the trenches, letting the rain and the mud cover us, as he waited. Mandos had ordered a siege to isolate the fortress from the outside world and refused to let us attempt to take it any further. He probably had his reasons. We had managed to isolate the virus from our camp and ensure that we would have no further incidents. It had taken a couple of days before Mandos returned to our camp with the news of the Athelas plant being able to halt the advancing effects of the virus, for a time. The news bolstered our moral, yet, we still had a bothersome task at hand. The fortress is still standing, and we have yet to take it. This is why I had made my way through the lines of tents that have covered the once flourishing forest. We had gathered the all of the athelas plants that we had in the tent next to the war council. It was to be distributed between our forces. As I made my way into the tent to meet with Maela and Mandos, to report my findings, I found them discussing the situation with the virus that was ravaging the camp nearby. Apparently, it was going at a slow pace, and it seemed people were less stressed about it. It took them but a moment to notice me, as we gathered around the table, where we had a map of the fortress.

“Nyvorlas, what are your findings of the fortress?” Mandos questioned me. It was a simple question, yet I knew what he wanted or rather, needed to know.

“Our forces have kept anyone inside it from getting through our lines, and our scouts say that the walls are lightly defended. However, I have one concern. It seems that over the past week there has been no attempts to push through our lines, not even a sighting of the enemy outside the walls.” I replied.

“Hm… it is as I suspected.” Mandos pondered. “They are preoccupied with something else inside… It would not be too far fetched to assume that they are also experiencing the effects of the virus.”

Mandos bent over the table, while scanning the map. “We should assault the fortress head on and breach its gates. I doubt we will face much resistance.”

“But… all our former attempts have been squandered. Are you certain we should engage them now?” I replied. Maela stayed silent.

“We will attack at sunset. Then we will assault both the walls and the gate, with the bulk of our forces protecting our men at the gate.”

I stood there for a moment listening. “We should use the trebuchets to bomb the walls, while our forces rush them with ladders. And, we should use the classic shield wall to protect the battering ram.”

“I concure.” It was all Mandos said before he walked away from the table. It seemed it was all he wanted to talk about. “Make the preparations.”

Both Maela and I left the generals tent, to prepare our forces for the coming storm. While preparations were being made, and the day passed on, we made sure that the enemy would not notice the change in our patterns, as we ensure our forces would go about their day. It was not until about sunset that we made our move and gathered upon the field of battle within a short time frame. Everyone who were part of the assault would be commanded to eat a single athelas flower, to make sure that their immune system would be more resistant to the virus for a short period of time, during our assault.

As we gathered upon the field, we ensured that our trebuchets were constantly bombarding the enemy walls, while we advanced with our shield wall protecting our forces and battering ram. Yet it was strange, there was barely any resistance but a few arrows here and there. Unlike the previous week where arrows rained down upon us, turning the sky black with arrows. Perhaps Mandos was right about his assumptions.

As we approach the gate, we assumed that they would pour boiling oil upon us, yet again nothing happens, as the battering ram struck down the gate as if it were nothing.

Our forces stormed through the gate, followed directly by Mandos and I, while Maela was commanding our ranged units. Yet the sight within these walls were more horrifying than anticipated. It seemed that a lot of the enemy forces were dead, while many them were lying on the ground or in their respective beds in their houses, all of them infected with the virus. Mandos stood in the fortress square, as he ordered for all living enemies to be gathered at the square. This took but a short while as we gathered a few hundred men who now stood in the square, all infected and incredibly sick.

Mandos stood before them clad in his bright white armor, his blade drawn as he looked over the prisoners. “Where is the Pale Woman!” he yelled out over the crowd, seeing the crippled men, with nothing left but their lives.

One of them stepped forward in front of Mandos and I. “She… she has isolated herself in the tower, away from everyone, when the virus struck us.” He was trembling.

Mandos stepped forward, and as he stood before the man, he let his blade rise, touching his shoulder. “Thank you for your assistance.”

His gaze turned to the rest of the men who were standing around, surrounded by our forces. I could see that Mandos was determined to do something but what.

“You have all suffered under the Pale Woman, you have all been deceived and hurt by her actions. Now the virus has struck you and you have lost everything, but I have come to help you, and make sure that the virus will not spread any further.”

Some people looked happy; some were confused but none understood quite what he meant. I did. I understood exactly what his intentions were, when he said those words. His blade cutting through the man in front of him like butter. His lifeless body falling to the ground in a puddle of its own feces and blood. He turned to me. “Purge them all from this world.”

As he said those words, I simply nodded back at him, I was not to question his decision, nor did I wish to gain his wrath. I signaled my men, and as quickly as we had gathered them, they were all executed, every one of them being struck down, filling the square with bodies, blood and feces. The screams of the men quickly fading. We gathered all the bodies while preparing to have a pyre filled with bodies, burning them all, to prevent further decease spread. While we did this, Mandos and I moved to the tower to confront the Pale Woman.

“You see Nyvorlas. This is how you take a fortress; this is how you prevent the spread of a virus; you eliminate the contagious.” His mind was set, he was more dangerous than ever. He was not exactly himself. I walked in silence.

As we reached the top of the tower, Mandos pushed the door open to find her, the Pale Woman. She was indeed pale, but she was not alive. She sat in her chair, hunched back, mouth open, eyes white. Her body contagious. She had been killed by the virus. Her lifeless body, clutching onto a book. Mandos walked straight up and simply ripped the book from her dead hands.

“This means the end of our quest.” He said to me as he turned and walked out the door with the book, he did not even consider the dead woman or anything else. Was this simply about the book, and not even our conquest of the fortress or killing of the woman. All he wanted was the book.

We returned to our men an hour later, as the fire and black smoke rose from the fortress, as the smell of blood and dead bodies being burned filled the air.

Madara had arrived to an empty landmark, coming from Hayakami. It was like the entirety of the area had vanished magically; crops, people, buildings - it was all gone. This would have been alarming to Madara but the men had already informed him that Daenerys had taken to the landmark in her sick state, using it to hide while recovering and to run the village. No, these cheap tricks wouldn't fool him, not when his eyes could see through everything. Activating the cursed eyes of his, Madara used his Sharingan to look for chakra nearby, entering a tunnel below ground behind the men with him. They navigated through the passage way, sharing stories of what they planned to do with their spoils of war or what their ally Tashi would do as the new Tekikage, conversations Madara had no interest in.

( Doujutsu: Sharingan ) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 - 30 ( -5 per turn for 1T and 2T, 10 per turn to keep active for 3T )
Damage: N/A
Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG

"I hear he'll usher in new reforms for trade. We can finally get some of that Shimo coal"
"Maybe he'll take it from them, heh. What's ours is ours and what's theirs is ours, right?"
"Maybe he'll keep the Queen's rules in place"
"Yeah? If he was gonna do that, we wouldn't be here to kill the bitch, would we?"
"Yeah, like that's a waste of a trip if we gonna just do this shit again"
"Im just saying guys, maybe the sickness just slowed her progress. Maybe she wanted to do more stuff and didn-"
"Maybe you'll be the first one to die if you dont shut up"

The group walked forward a short time longer in silence, the occasional grunt and complaint being made. The trio had began to become annoying to Madara, glad he would be done with them soon. As they marched, the conversation turned back to Tenshi, the leader they had in mind. Tales of his actions came up, stories of how he progressed through the Dothraki army Daenerys had and became the leader of the army, their numerous conquests under Rocky's rule and the lack of them under Daenerys. Madara still did not speak up, but listened to their words.

"..yeah, that's what I mean. For a soldier as decorated as he is, to have him searching for wild flowers to heal people is wild."
"He's the leader we deserve, dammit. I'm tired of staying here cooped up. Dothraki don't stay in one spot without battle for long"
"I agree. When he becomes leader, everything will change. We'll be back raging and waging war. As soon as he returns from the University, we'll be a-"
"What makes you think he will return?"

The question was asked in a soft tone but it could have been a loud for how it pierced through the group and caused near instant silence.

"....I mean, they're just going to check it out right?"
"Hmph....yes, to check it out. You're rightful Kage."

Madara's two simple sentences struck fear within the men, confusion arising as to why Tenshi wouldn't return. Before they could speak again, they arrived at the hidden base.

".. well, we're here now, men. Shall we?" Madara asked, stepping forth into the dimly lit cave. There she was, a ghastly look on her face as she coughed and battled the cough. She had 3 soldiers around her, spears began to be pointed outwards at the men with Madara as they walked in. Daenerys looked around at the men, confused but too weak to fully address them.

"W-what is this? Yasuko, what are you doing here with.... with him?" She said, looking at Madara with narrowed eyes. Her time around Rocky told her stories of the terror that was Madara Uchiha.

Yasuko stepped forth, brandishing a sword that he pointed outwards.

"For too long you have let this village dwell in inactivity. For too long, our enemies have grown strong while we grew weak and tired. The time for change is now. Your time as Tekikage is over, Daenerys Stormborn!"

As he shouted her name, he and the other two rushed forward to meet the 3 guards in the room, starting a short and quick faceoff. Swords and spears lashed out until only two men remained: Tekikage and one of the guards.

"And now, after I slay your last guard, it is your time for your demise. And I, Yasuko, will be the second in command under Tenshi as well being in a new world order l! A new world of war and strength and there is none that will oppose us as we lea-"

"You're really annoying"

Blood splurted forward, spraying over Daenerys as a vibrant blue streak flashed across the room. Within a blink, both the guard and Tenshi dropped to the floor, their bodies leaving 4 loud thuds as their top halves fell over. Madara stood, wiping a drop of blood from his armor as the Susano'o arm dissipated, its purpose served. "He was beginning to work my nerves and I hate having my nerves worked."

Walking closer, Madara could see Daenerys clearly for the first time. She was beautiful, she truly was. In the purple eyes, he could see anger, pride, wekaness from the virus and hate she had for Madara. He could also see fear within them, fear that everything she had worked for was now gone. Fear this was the end. Fear that she would just become another name on the long list of bodies Madara had caught.

"Get it over with, do what you came here for."
"I wish things could be different, I truly do."
"No you don't."
"No, I don't."

The two paused, staring at one another for a moment before Daenerys began to cough hard, spitting up blood.

"It was already almost my time anyway, but what prompted you to align with these defectors? Finally decided you could defeat me in my weakened state, huh?"

"Honesty? I like the region. A nice temperate climate, good food, beautiful women,"
he jested, nodding towards her as he said the last part. "I have plans that I could make use of this location and you were in the way. It's nothing personal."

"Tcht. Nothing personal... Fire and Blood..... well, get it on with. Make it quick, boy."

Slightly annoyed at her condescending tone even when facing death, Madara respected that she stuck to her same attitude the men spoke about to her very end.

Calling forth an arm of Susano'o yet again, Madara swung as fast as he could at the neck of the Queen, taking the head off abruptly. With no pain felt, Daenerys Stormborn was ended. The Targaryen dynasty had ended and now...

"The final valley loams."

( Susano'o: Katachi Hafu ) - Susano'o: Incomplete Form x2
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 60
Damage Points: 80 ( - 10 to user ) (+20)
Description: Uchiha who have achieved Susano'o and have their Mangekyou activated are capable of calling upon Susano'o's skeletal structure, such as a ribcage for basic defence or an arm for interacting with the surroundings. If the user has an EMS or higher, the damage and/or defense increases by 20 damage.

Note: Does not count as a full usage of Susano'o. However, if Susano'o has been used and cannot be used again, this cannot be as well.

"Congratulations, Madara Uchiha." The voice came from behind Madara in the moment of his victory, his Susano'o still present moments after taking Daenerys Targaryen's head clean off its shoulders. It was a gravelly voice, one seeped in ancient wisdom; his cloak was raised above his head, concealing his emaciated body. But beneath the shadow of the hood one could still make out Imeroth's piercing blue eyes. "I hate to interrupt, but..." Before he finished his sentence Madara and Imeroth would both be suddenly teleported to the Void.

It was a space of infinite silence, and nothingness. A place that predated the universe itself, formed from nothing but primordial Chaotic energy. The very energy that would come to form the universe, as well as Tiamat. It was the place where the deity Marduk and the lesser gods sealed their mother Tiamat away. It was a infinitely black abyss, extending outwards in all directions; there Imeroth faced Madara, seemingly floating a mere ten meters away. "I have observed you for sometime now. For the time being, we will speak within the Void."

(Tōsō Taishite Konton) – Chaoskampf
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Drawing upon the Void for strength, Imeroth teleports select targets, or everyone, up to mid-range into the Void itself, the space in which the Primordial Goddess of Life Tiamat exists within. It occurs instantly, leaving no time for targets to counter its effects. The Void itself is an entirely black space, with no discernable features aside from the ambient energy that flows within it. This energy is Chaos, the energy that formed the universe before the moment of formation, known as Kuniumi (or the Birth of Empire). Within the Void it is impossible to perceive depth, as it is simply a black and infinite space. It is similar to Kaguya Otsutsuki's Amenominaka in functionality.

Before Madara could do anything more than remove Daenerys' head, he heard a voice behind him speak out to him, a source he hadn't sensed prior to speaking. Turning to speak, he suddenly found himself in a pitch black darkness, removed from the fortress he had just killed the Queen in. Even his Susano'o had been out of sight, left behind in the previous landmark. With his ethereal guardian gone, Madara was left pondering what had happened.

"...who are you? What is this? Speak before I take your head off next."

Imeroth smiled beneath his cloak; what a familiar anger, and pride. It reminded him of Ashikaga, the man he had chosen to be the first Body. The Voice slowly lowered his hood, revealing an emaciated man to Madara; a man who has endured the winds of time. The eight thousand year old herald's blue eyes peered directly into Madara's Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. "I am humanity's collective unconsciousness to return to the past. To return to a time of peace, where our Mother watched over us. I am Imeroth, the Voice of Tiamat, Primordial Goddess of Life. I have lived for a very long time...predating even your god, the Sage of the Six Paths." He had observed Madara for some time; when the group had considered their first vessel, Madara had been on their list. They had chosen Takauji Ashikaga for his Hangurian bloodline, though it had proven erroneous. His body had not been strong enough to house their Mother's will. "I was the one to orchestrate the revival of Tiamat's avatar, the draconic form known as a Beast. The Goddess of Life still lives."

A decrepit frail man appeared from under the hood, his eyes an icy blue shade. Madara raised an eyebrow at the man skeptically as he spoke, introducing himself as Imeroth and speaking of Tiamat, a woman Madara had no care for. He had had half a mind to EMS him but he knew it wouldn't likely return him to where he was just at, an issue he would deal with if he needed to. However, the mention to the Sage of Six Paths caught his attention. The man claimed to predate even the Sage and given his weak state, Madara knew it wasn't too inconceivable a lie. Yet, knowing and hearing any of this did nothing for him.

"Weird. You've managed to tell me who you are without telling me who you are. What do you want and why am I here?"
