@Bolded, that is pretty much all I read from your response, because that is all I needed to hear. Although many people have their own definitions as to what Kenjutsu is, but a universal truth remains, Kenjutsu is the art of the sword.

Many people follow one of the following two beliefs:
If you do not respect the sword, then you are not fit to wield one.
If you do not fear the sword, than you are not fit to wield one.

So, now that we've gotten that out of the way, go on and tell me what the difference between a One-Handed Slash and a Two-Handed Slash is (Besides the obvious).
____________
And xd, Indeed it has been a while.

ok a one handed slash is faster but less accurate then a two handed slash but makes it easier to move your sword around

A two handed slash is a more precise slash with better accuracy then a one handed slash even thoe it makes it harder for you to defend when using both hands on your sword

Ehh, not really what I was looking for.

A One-Handed Slash is not as fast as a slash that uses both hands, however it offers more maneuverability, and is easier to follow up and chain attacks after. A Two-Handed Slash is faster and more powerful due to the extra force that it carries behind the blade. However, this offers less maneuverability and is harder to follow up.

As for more precise and less precise when it comes to slashes I'm not sure about that.

Any questions?

No sir
Cool

*Throws you a bokken*

Now since we discussed what One-Handed Slashes were, I'd like you to begin by performing a One-Handed Horizontal Slash with the bokken. I believe you already know which direction Horizontal is, since you've had me before, but just incase..

Horizontal strikes go along the X-Axis, from right to left and vice versa. (____<--Like this)

So give it a shot.

I grab the Bokken as I grab the bokken and hold it with one hand and swing it horizontaly starting from my left side to my right
Good, and now a One-Handed Vertical Strike please.

I would teach you the five Kendo stances, but that something the Samurai teach o_o

So I'll refrain from that >_o

A stab is where you take the edge or the blade of your weapon and thrust it into your opponent which can either damage them or kill them

And its important because besides a slash its the most effictive attack me have when it comes to the way of the sword now I might be incorrect

Eh, more or less.

If aimed precisely at a major organ, or artery, you can cause serious damage. Although they aren't very powerful if you hit the right area, they can cause major damage. Although they aren't very powerful, they are quite fast.

So, would you demonstrate a Stab fr me on the dummy with you bokken. Specify where you strike it.

I take the bokken with both hands then I pull then bokken back to my side as I pull back I thrust forward stabbing the wooden dumby in the heart
Good good.

Now, since earlier we differentiated between a One-Handed and Two-Handed Slash, I'd like for you to perform a Two-Handed Horizontal Slash on the dummy.
