I picked the bootsy song because it sounds exactly like gambino's redbone, and the theme of the song matches the theme of gambino's project. Whereas alabama shakes doesn't. And 50 didn't popularise it or was known for it. Like kanye/cudi was. Or like budden was.

im not saying it was bad, ive just listened to the Alabama Shakes a lot and i can hear the influence from Sound and Color throughout the album. his vocal delivery is just too clear rip to me

but i also thought camp was a terrible project that was overly moody like most critics. BTI was the only decent project hes dropped but that was still...and it came with a script for the album lol

its not bad for classic soul and neo soul album, not special at all though but better than BTI imo as a whole project though different genres . hes just really overrated to me but talented nonetheless and creative. that show Atlanta was good, i just find a lot of his music fake
