well, I dont know if that interview was fake or not cuz it said he has sth planned for Kisame which we all saw was true and Sandaime was the greatest among the five kage at the time and was considered Konoha's greatest Hokage so it makes sense for him to be the most powerful character to ever die and Minato at Sandaime's level isnt so shocking cuz he rendered tbb useless, defeated Tobi with minimal chakra loss and no injuries and died simply cuz he was trying to protect the world, Konoha and Naruto. So, IMO Minato is greater than Hashirama.

Alright, I concur. I corrected the heading to "strongest".

Anyways the interview is extremely likely a fake. This rumour, which suddenly became popular around May 2008, was claimed to have been published in March 2008 Jump Festa, while a lot more claim it was March 2008 Shounen Jump.

Raw scans of all other Kishi's interviews are readily available except for this one. In fact only one translation of it, which doesn't even reference an authentic original Japanese text, exists. This simply means there is no original Japanese text out there, else there will be varying translations of it.

Finally the 3rd databook, which was released 6 months after the alleged date of this interview, made no mention of such fact.

I'm a Minato fan but I have to agree, he said it himself that Madara was a greater threat than Kyubi so he should hav focused on ending him, Madara was already marked with ftg, it would have been easy but I dont think that the first can beat Minato cuz beating Madara doesnt seem like a big deal to me, Naruto and Gaara did it while they were weakened, Madara probably didnt use rinnegan against Hashirama since no one mentioned it all these years and there's the fact that Shodai took control of the Kyuubi from Madara....this is just my opinion.

Do you guys honestly think that Hashirama beat Madara who had both the EMS and rinnegan? If you do then you are insane. I'll give credit where credit is due but there is just no way Hashirama stands a chance against a rinnegan user and an EMS user.

What likely happened is that madara probably didn't have the rinnegan during that fight and either faked his death so that he could get it, or that he actually won that fight and let Hashi walk away.

Honestly tell me how on earth can Hashirama beat someone like that? He can't there is no possible way and if you guys thinks so then you are bigger fanboys then any Minato fan could ever be. At least I'm willing to admit that Minato stands no chance against Madara who has both the rinnegan and EMS.
