are u sayin he cudnt beat tsunade, Gaara, or Mei. I admit dat Raikage n Oonoki wud maybe fight longer but at d end they wud b fnishd. And what's d meanin of get serious. Itachi's strength is Nagato's weakness.

first off, pain was affected by sound gen, not visual gen. fact! they are no where close to being the same in ability!

never said tsunade or mei could beat him. dont no where you got that from. again you are avoidning the ninjas i listed..

The only thing the illness did to itachi was he wasnt able to use his chakra well for real fight. When he got low on chakra the sickness started to make him spit out blood and what not.

As for the powers themselve, illness or not how powerful they are isnt affected.

Only his stamina was was affected, alot people tend to overplay his illness to everything like his abilties are less powerful but thats not the case. He couldn't fight for long at a top level. He is low chakra shinobi like kahashi as it is, it diffinity hurt him alot.

This is bit like when tsuande posioned jiraiya and he could use his chakra very well aswell.

stamina is a big part in any fight, imagine kakashi with good stamina he would be amazing cos he would be able to use the sharingan without losing too much energy. The abilities won't be any stronger for itachi but he can use abilities like amaterasu and susano for a longer period of time which makes him better at long fight than hen he is sick.

I have to disagree. Even if the ninja had Chakra, if they didn't have reaction, speed, endurance, and stamina, it would almost be pointless to have Chakra. So I don't think chakra is the most important. Plus, Lee and Guy don't use chakra much unless they use the 8 gates.

1st off, lee and gai does not use ninjutsu and genjutsu, never stated they use no chakra. they wouldnt be ninjas if they didnt. i.e. walk on water, walls, trees, put power behind there atks etc etc..

shikamaru is a prime example! he has no speed, endurance, stamina, but he has chakra to help his strategy, and smarts! i never said the only thing a ninja need is chakra, but rather it is the most important thing a NINJA needs!

Some Itachi fans make good points but most say some things that don't make anysense saying he's the best when he obviosly not.Don't get me wrong he's strong but not better than the raikage,naruto,bee, probably pain and some other characters.

he can beat bee that is not a strech and possibly raikage.

i disagree on him using amertasu for longer periods. why? because again, his chakra was not affected! his jutsus in general was not affected by the sickness. but i will admitt his susanoo could probably go longer since it is the type that relies on the user..

but again, his chakra, jutsus, and smarts were never affected! he was sick yes, but he was also going blind! and even when healthy, a blind man is a blind man.lol

stupid thread. a uncrippled complete nagato is the strongest. masashi thinks its fair to put itachi naruto and bee against him so that means he will think its unfair if u take naruto and bee away. also chibaku tensei. hes dead. and if someone thinks theirs someone btter than nagato well than that means they are also better than itachi

Shikamaru has stamina enough to keep his Shadow Jutsu going for several minutes so yes he has stamina

I believe determination is what's most important to a ninja who wants to win. Then smarts/strategy.

Itachi is definatly kage level but that doesn't mean he can beat all the other kages ...
For example :
-1st Hokage ; his pedigree is awesome , the strongest senju ( wood style etc ...)
-4th Hokage ; the fastest ninja ever + some awesome ninja techniques
.... etc ... i can go one
certainly itachi is very strong and can beat certain other kage level ninjas but he isn't the strongest ...

Itachi will be defeated somehow by somebody in the narutoverse.
Is it by Naruto, Sasuke, Nagato, Madara, Kabuto, Raikage, Mizukage, ... idk and idc
but he's not invincible like you fanboys are making him.
sussano'o is made of something right ( probably chakra ) so p.e. Nagato could absorb it and then just touch Itachi and get his soul out with Human Path.

I love Itachi and i think he's bad@ss but i don't think he's godly invincible.

So please stop making "Itachi is the strongest" threads cause he isn't.
And start making threads that actually are interesting to read and have meaning

i was referring him to the state he was healthier like in part 1 with the ms. His chakra was never that low that he can do a few amaterasus dude even when he was sick he made the whole ground burn so he can do the same when he is not or even more because he has less stress from his illness.

You said it yourself that a ninja is not a ninja without chakra so there's no way a ninja with zero chakra could exist. Everyone has Taijutsu even normal people. Taijutsu is just hand to hand combat. If you can throw a punch, you have a degree of Taijutsu, although it's a very small degree. And I never said chakra wasn't important. I said it wasn't most important. I think it should go like
Determination
Smarts/Stategy
Chakra
To ask you: Do you think someone who has chakra but no determination or smarts could beat Nagato?
