If narutopedia is right so am i because it says he fought Orochimaru after age 11. If manga is right than I am still right since Tobi said he joined after the murder.

you sure know your math xdxd*sighs* if what I wrote was too long then just read this part and tell me if the math adds up
for Itachi:
4 (itachi's age sasuke just born)+8 (years after the fox attack)=12(his age then)
13(how old he was when he killed his clan) + 4(when he met back up with sasuke)=17 (itachi's age in part 1)
for sasuke:
17(itachi in part 1)-13(sasuke in part 1)= 4(how many years older itachi is)
13(when itachi killed his can) -4(how many years older itachi is)= 9(how old sasuke had to be when his clan died)
9(sasuke younger) + 4(when they met back up)= 13(sasukes age in part 1)
itachi was 4 when sasuke was born
itachi was 12 when he met up with madara and sasuke was 8
itachi was 13 when he killed his clan and sasuke was 9
itachi was17 in part 1 and sasuke was 13
Oh.
Itachi was 5 when Sasuke was born. 5+8=13 when Itachi killed his clan.
Itachi ws 17-18 in part 1, Sasuke was 12-13.
Sasuke was 7 when his clan was murdered (Bare in mind not everything happens in EXACTLY 1 year).

YES tobi was right when he said itachi "joined" akaktsui after the massacre, but being "involved" with them is different.

The manga was at error, it meant to say "We haven't done this 7 years ago, before Orochimaru left".
