I think Sasori is extremely underrated. People think that because he lost to sakura and chyio he is weak. But it's not true. Sasori lost to maybe the only person who knew his techniques and style (chyio) and a person who could create an antidote for his poison (sakura). You could not have asked for a better match-up against Sasori. And he is an extremely good counter for Itachi. One of the best shinobi to counter Itachi in the akatsuki.

1st bold part: are you kidding? we all know chiyo won because she knows how to counter sasori's puppet plus she is ALSO a master puppeteer. also if it wasnt for the antidote that sakura developed they both will be a goner.. actually sakura+chiyo is a good match for sasori. but i doubt itachi would win against sasori.. poison alone can kill itachi if he doesnt have the antidote which is obvious he doesnt know how to create one coz he is NO MEDICAL NINJA.
Pain and naruto part we all know why naruto wins..its because he is the main character.lol
and also pain pawns itachi in anyway.
BTW.itachi said himself that they maybe killed(itachi+kisame) or its gonna be a tie if they faught jiraiya that time.and for that i give him credit on how genious he is coz he knows when he will lose a fight or not.

Yeah but you gotta remember eye contact with Itachi or his finger capture you in a genjutsu and that body he's in the eyes aren't fake or else how would he move around without seeing? As far as I remember only way breaking out of a genjutsu is having a partner (Bijuu, Naruto or Bee and I can't remember how but when Sakura and Chiyo broke Naruto out also can work I guess and of course Sharingan if your good at using it, Kakashi wasn't the first time), Sasori controls his puppets he gets caught puppets are mobilized till he's gets out. It will be a good battle and Sasori does stand a chance but again Itachi ain't a push over so this battle would be good tho to see
Sasori gets Itachi with Poison and its over? It's gonna take a lot more than just that I mean it's like me saying Itachi just needs to activate Susanoo and seal Sasori in his sword its over, or like what happen with Deidara when he used his clay bomb thing to wrap Itachi and blow him up but when Itachi said look at yourself it was actually him that was in it (genjutsu) and he also used it against Kurenai, so it's like saying if Sasori tried using that Itachi caught him with that genjutsu and he ends up poisoning himself. This just wouldn't bring up a good argument because that battle would be quick and boring. Itachi and Sasori wouldn't be that stupid by taking chances like this without knowing each others techs.
I agree with you that on the part that its bs how Naruto beat Pein, Sasuke Beat Itachi, and Chiyo/Sakura beat Sasori but the thing is that they did beat them. Yes, they had intel and the one was at disadvantage but the fact is that they were the winners. It's like Muhammad Ali boxing Mike Tyson but Ali broke his hand and than 1 month after he gets a surgery done has to fight Tyson and Ali would be at a disadvantage but if Tyson knocked him out he would've been the winner and Ali would get a defeat on his match. So it's quite stupid but they got the victory from that battle and it will stay like that in Naruto.
I doubt they were afraid of Jiriaya. Itachi had used his MS quite abit that day especially when he caught Kakashi in his space/time genjutsu and than on Sasuke. Jiriaya was even surpraised that Itachi was able to break out of the frogs belly stating no one has ever gotten thru and Itachi did with ease (Yes, he used Amu). Also remember Itachi avoids fighting anyone from the leaf (Konoho),

The 1st, 4th, and J-man, thats about it. Maybe Pein.. but I just feel like since J-man caught him in a genjustu then Itachi should be able to pull it off right, and theres no telling where the fight would go with that as it IS his specialty.

Honestly though people say Itachi is overrated, but I often believe he is underrated, especially when he has The Chair in his arsenal, he cannot lose when he plays that card
