no the hell they are not...obito had kamui back when itachi was alive yet he still never attacked konoha while itachi was alive and he feared itachi so that means itachi knew how to beat obito and it took kakakshi the whole war to figure out how to hit obito with help form naruto and gai...



and tobirama created jutsu's and oro studies, itachi figures out ways to beat everyone, his strategies come to him faster than they do shikamaru and shikamaru is smarter than kakashi

well itachi was terminally ill so that would have stopped him, adn he was going blind so that would have stoppe dhim and the akatsuki consists of more than obito and itachi and i think if itachi attack a member of the akatsuki i dnt think the akatsuki would let a traitor continue to live, oro did it and he hid for years...

Dude Itachi had insane amounts of potential. He sacrificed all that for his village, his brother, and the shinobi world. If he truly was the evil psychopath we thought he was, he couldv'e easily mind**** and make sasuke form MS just to take it and acquire EMS. Itachi's only weakness was his lack of chakra and stamina which could've easily been solved by injecting himself hashirama dna. If itachi wasn't a hero I truly think he could've easily surpassed Madara and maybe even Hashirama. However the reason itachi is my fav character was because of his sacrifice and ideals.

If he had potential enough to rival Madara's power, he wouldn't have needed to sacrifice everything, kill his own clan, and ruin his brother's life. If he obtained rikudou mode or even the rinnegan, he could have easily stopped the Uchiha rebellion without the need to kill.


Madara was able to fight an army easily with only Katon, taijutsu, Susanoo. Itachi has all three....yet he can't defeat the Uchiha and one village.

You said "Tell me something Itachi has done to put him on Oro's level of intelligence?" Its not a sword... it's "The Sword". Not to mention "The Shield". The guys level of thinking is praised by even the smartest of all shinobis. Kabuto who studies alongside Orochimaru and even perfected a technique that Oro could not was dwarfed by Itachi's Intelligence. There is more to creating jutsus and discovering stuff that makes you smart. Its about tatics too. Shikamaru is considered top ten most intelligent in the manga, yet he has no aces up his sleeves besides his mind.

True but it would probably work to some extents not nullified. He used it on Sasuke to repel the sound genjutsu. I don't think it is his most powerful Jutsu, that would probably be Amateratsu but it depends on what you mean by powerful.

Madara is an Uchiha legend with 100 years of experience , knows everything about the Uchiha tablet , has the best Dojutsu , the best Sage Mode , Senju DNA and a near Perfect Juubi.

Also no , Itachi isn't good at Amaterasu like Sasuke.
