i suppose it would be fair to say...that Muu is an Invisible Man ;).

His viz/english name is Invisible Man, Null Man in other languages but it all means the same thing. He is my favorite character because of the nature of his abilities but I'm not biased when it comes to him though. I do know however he defeats Itachi low difficulty. He has absolutely no presence whatsoever. Itachi can't deal with an opponent he can't see and does not even know is there.

Sharingan detects Muu because of chakra.

Until disproven, Yata Mirror will tank Jinton according to the manga, you guys can reply and call me an Itachi fapboy, yata is being overrated blah blah blah, it's still been stated to change its properties to nullify any attack. Jinton is simply a bunch of elements in one, it's not some weird jutsu like Kamui where Yata can't necessarily change properties.

Genjutsu should tear Muu a new one, sensing does not make people immune to genjutsu. If i'm not mistaken, the 2nd Mizukage killed Muu. Or was it the other way around? If the second Mizukage killed Muu, then i'm definitely going with Itachi on this one. Otherwise if Genjutsu didn't work, Amaterasu start time > Jinton start time.

muu can completely erase his presence, including his chakra. It's not just normal invisibility.

i don't think yata would be able to block jinton but according to the manga it can so you are right about that. however, muu can jinton him from behind since yata doesn't have 360 degrees of protection.

genjutsu would only be a factor if muu looked in itachi's eyes and he has full intel, so he most likely will avoid that. then again, knowing to avoid looking in someone's eyes and actually avoiding their eyes are two different things.

Jiinton still has a charge time, I don't think Itachi would stand looking in the same direction like a sore thumb, especially since Muu can't use diversions since once he splits he can't use Jiinton. Muu could still be tricked through clones...Itachi has shown to use crow clones as diversions against SM Kabuto, Part 1 Kakashi, KCM Naruto, and Hebi Sasuke. If Muu screws up and hits a clone, Amaterasu screws him over.

Forgot that intel was full. Muu should be able to avoid Sharingan genjutsu then if he's weary of it. Muu can avoid Tsukuyomi by looking away from Itachi, since he's a sensor he still can sense his presence.

Amaterasu is what Itachi will have to rely on to beat Muu. If Muu could use diversions he could avoid Amaterasu, and hit Itachi during his charge time. Itachi isn't going to use it when Muu erases his presence either.

Muu has a sword, no need to resort to Jinton when he could slice his neck.

If Muu can't be detected, how does that matter?

Already explained the diversion with clones argument.

If he could simply go invisible and slice people with swords, I would've expected him to do it to KCM Naruto or Oonoki. Then again, we always blame plot for everything :l

Muu has no presence.... what do you not understand. Being invisible is one thing, having no presence is the next level. It is impossible to detect with with normal means. He has no physical body and no chakra. Itachi is at his mercy.

Itachi use clones? Muu has the ability to sense. So, I'm not sure how effective that would be.

as beansand said it erases his chakra/presence itachi is outclassed by mu he gets mid diff (its only mid because of how smart itachi is)

not to mention itachi cannot fight for long with his terrible stamina an invisible opponet who can split himself in half also flying and jinton using itachi will not win this fight

Muu wins mid diff. His invisibility technique makes him undetectable but Itachi is still highly intelligent and wouldn't get taken out very easily. Itachi has Yata mirror to counter Jinton but for how long really? His stamina is shit. Also Yata mirror doesn't provide 360 degrees of protection. Muu is a long range fighter so I doubt with his flight technique he would get caught in any genjutsu. And even if Itachi managed to get off Amaterasu and hit Muu he would split his body could go invisible and finish Itachi while he is recovering from using Amaterasu.

Itachi kills him with ease.

-Ribcage Susanoo blocks any sword attacks.

-Amaterasu lights him up if he ever shows himself for Jinton
