I'm going to copy/paste what I said on the other thread about the interview that you guys brought up from the dead since 2009 lol, so here it is..

"First of all, I'm not sure about that interview you guys came up with since 2009, do you even have the original post quoted in Japanese so people who understands Japanese can actually read it and then decide? cause sometimes it can be a Minato fanboy who did the translate and then manipulated it's meanings, but in anyways.. I will prove to everyone how this interview doesn't prove that Minato is stronger than Itachi.. but please, open your minds and think of it a little bit..

You guys forgot about something here.. Kishi "admitted" himself and said that it's a "tricky question!", which means that it has a trick behind it, you can't just jump out of your damn keyboards and yells "OH! Kishi said that Minato is the strongest dead ninja ever! YAY!!!" sorry, no.. that's not how it is in reality, cause Kishi himself admitted that the SO6P was the strongest Shinobi (ever) in his Manga papers, and that he created every single thing about Ninjutsu, so we can't say that Minato is stronger than the SO6P cause they are both dead, do we? but..

Here is my theory.. when we do compare Naruto to the real world.. we all know that in real life if someone dies then he will die for good, right? nothing can revive him or bring him back again except (If God wishes too).. but most likely, we don't see people coming back from the dead after they die in real life, do we? cause that's God's wish and well..

But when it comes to Naruto as an (animated cartoon).. it's totally a different story, because being dead in Naruto means that you need to be dead as a (body) and dead as a (soul).. we all know that Minato and Hiruzen (bodies) and (souls) are dead and sealed for good and can't be revived no matter what..

Think about it a little bit, and stop taking this Kishi's (old) and (doubtful..) interview as a final conclusion.. Itachi is dead, that's true.. but didn't you all asked yourselves that he can be revived because his soul was still alive? that's the trick Kishi's said behind that question, because as we said.. being dead in Naruto means that you need to be dead as a (body) and dead as a (soul).. Itachi died as a (body) but he's (soul) wasn't..

That even proves my theory about the SO6P, cause we all know that the SO6P is dead as a body, but his soul could still be around, isn't it? so we can't be certain about what Kishi said about this interview..

Please, if you wish to argue with this then I'm on it, but.. I hope that we all do use polite words cause after all, Naruto is just an animation for all of us to have fun while watching it.. no reason for us to insult each others just to prove our points being (wrong) or (right) for the sake of an animation, thanks. ^^"

these people are insane. They over hype susanoo like it can be used on a continuous basis.

Both characters are overrated, but itachi is GREATLY overrated more-so than minato.

You obviously didnt read the full interview. Just because it was 2009 does not mean that itachi was still alive. When that interview took place itachi was DEAD.

Just because someone is stronger, or more skilled than you doesn't automatically mean that the person can beat you.In naruto, it is always about matchups,and how well a persons skill is suited for his/her opponent e.g gai vs kisame.Kisame is obviously much stronger than gai, and he takes out tailed beasts for fun yet he was humiliated and beaten by gai, because he was the perfect opponent for him.


This would be close fight(i don't like or dislike both of them), but i think itachi would win this battle.Every thing indicates that minato was weak in genjutsu,because his son was not suited for genjutsu and his teacher himself was weak in it too.Jiraiya admitted it wasn't his greatest asset,and even told nagato&co,so logic would dictate that he didn't teach minato as well and he instead focused on a defense against it, like he did with naruto.

I think minato would break a few,but he would eventually get caught.

Ok guys well here goes nothing. First off i would like to say i love both characters. I also realize how great both characters are. Another thing is The fight would be so epic that the luck factor would be greater to ones win then the strength factor. Now here is where i start my debate. First off i read the entire post of the kishimoto interview from head to toe. Secondly, He never planned on Itachi being a dead character seeing as how itachi is alive now. And the fact of the matter is itachi gave naruto the power long before the interview meaning that he had itachi considered alive during that interview, because he had already planned on itachi revivng himself. If he hadnt had that planned? then that just comes to show u how much could change in these years and that this is invalid seeing as how much things have changed throughout the series. Regardless itachis plot was evident to him. Itachi being alive. So actually sure itachi was "dead" at the time but he had planned that itachi is going to live. So he isnt considered dead. ok. Now for the actual powers of both chars? i saw a guy here i cant remember his name saying that the 2 alive characters are madara and nagato. hmmmmm. Thats wrong lol. Because itachi proved that he can definitely beat nagato lol. Thats for sure. I Dont want to hear people say "hey! it was 3v1!". Nah. lol. Naruto and bee were dead from the very first second. If it wasnt for itachi of course. Itachi from the very first millisecond of battle found the weakness to shared vision took it out, The saved naruto and bee from certain death. (remember he couldnt do anything to nagato at the time. because naruto and bee were so close, he had to get them to his side" Nagato uses chibaku. Naruto and bee were fighting with each other lol when itachi found the weakness to chibaku within seconds of seeing it and told them what to do. He didnt underestimate chibaku so he told all three to attack it. Thats when itachi one shotted nagato. Remember that nagato was in fact in his prime during that fight. He regained all his strength from absorbing their chakra. Also if nagato didnt have an immortal body he would have been done for ever since itachi used amaterasu. "well he can shinra it off i guess. But the time it took him to do so would have scorched him lol. did u see how many pages it took for nagato to shinra it lol" Kabuto gave all the credit to itachi that fight. And Nagato apologized only to itachi immediately after being hit by the totsuka. Only to itachi. That is a statement right there because he almost killed naruto and bee. I guess he considered he was only fighting itachi? So nagato being ONE OF the 2 is incorrect. Nagato is my 2nd fav, but itachi proved he is on a whole other level to nagato "oh btw kabuto says so himself. Itachi is on a whole other level to the others." Another thing. U are arguing about what kishimoto says correct? well kishimoto changed his mind pretty damn quickly after making that interview. Watch the very first episode when naruto entered konoha after seeing it destroyed. When naruto is standing there and PA and the other frog "so sorry cant remember the other frogs name" see minato and jiraya standing next to naruto and they say the following "did you see that? Yes naruto has surpassed his predeccesors." they meant jiraya and minato btw... dont even argue about that LOL. because they actually showed an image of the 2. So ur saying what kishi says is right? Well there it is. Kishi said it himself. Sage naruto has surpassed jiraya and minato. Not only is it written right there clear as the day. But its from the best source ever. The manga + the anime. So if the interview even considered itachi dead. or alive. or in between. there are more than 2 chars that are stronger than minato. Why? because they stated that naruto has surpassed his father. Period. Dont argue about it. Second We all say how nagato completely dominated naruto in kyuubi chakra mode and bee. lol complete domination. and the naruto nagato owned is stronger than sage naruto. So Nagato is much stronger than yondaime. Itachi did infact beat Nagato. Now strength, smarts, luck, when, where, who is there? all are factors of a fight. In the end itachi did infact beat nagato. And itachi proved he is still stronger than naruto and is definitely stronger than bee. Seeing as how this is a itachi vs minato poll then going along ur statements as how nagato is one of the 2 that are stronger than itachi also beats yondaime. Its a tricky question.... That means that he had to have put all his cards on the table before dying. When u fight for ur life that means u are fighting with everything u have. NO he fought FOR HIS LIFE AND HIS VILLAGES LIFE. SO HE MUST HAVE GONE SUPER YONDAIME DURING THE FIGHT. yet he still ended up dying sealing the kyuubi. and he needed kushina to help too. or else it wouldnt have worked. Itachi never did fight for his life. not once. Itachi vs deidara, itachi vs orochimaru, itachi vs sasuke. In the first 2 he one shotted them both. Fighting sasuke i dont need to even mention it. The number of times madara told sasuke itachi let u win and had it planned out from the very start and itachi could have killed u at any time during that fight, or when he said it was all an act he never intended on killing u. That means itachi planned on dying. And didnt fight for his life. Against nagato itachi one shotted nagato literally. Considering jutsu well yeah sure we havent seen everything minato has done but they arent going to be godlike moves seeing as how they didnt even mention them when they showed the fight against madara. So they arent going to be no susanoo lol. Meaning a godlike unbeatable trumpcard. Itachi considering the jutsu shown is the victor. lol. Please dont argue about that. We also havent seen everything itachi has up his sleeves. They arent going to be another susanoo. which is why i am judging on what we have seen. People here are saying yondaimes speed, I even saw a number of idiots say "YONDAIME CANT BE CAUGHT IN GENJITSU CAUSE HE IS SO FAST!!!" are u a retard? genjitsu and speed have no relation whatesover. Genjitsu is the mind. Are u saying yondaime loses his mind while teleporting lol? Itachi doesnt even need to look at u to use a genjitsu. In the manga when neji "or may i say zetsu" was going on a killing spree they said the only person capable of putting some1 in a genjitsu from a distance far enough not to be spotted by our sensories is itachi. He can put u in a genjitsu so far away that a byakugan cant spot him. That is bassically what they said. He can point. Think. See u. Any of those can put u in a genjitsu. And believe me. Yondaime will know he is in a genjitsu. he is no idiot. But he will not be able to break it. For all the frog descendants are failiures at genjitsu. Now one of the other biggest factors in a fight. Knowledge. Lets say for instance. Kabuto were to revive yondaime. (cant happen btw but this is a lets say fan fiction" yondaime were to break free lets say and encounter itachi. And lets say itachi bit his tongue lol and couldnt talk to yondaime. lol this is the wierdest story ever btw lol. In the end lets say the 2 see each other and decide to kill one another for real. Knowledge of the other person. Remember that. How many characters who are stronger than the person they are fighting died in the end due to prior knowledge? Let me ask u this. Itachi DEFINITELY knows who the 4th hokage is. And definitely knows what his techniques are. And what he is capable of. And all his upsides (like speed). Yet the 4th hokage does not know itachi at all. Because yondaime died when itachi was 5 lol. So yondaime wont know that itachi is a uchiha. And will in fact make the mistake of looking into itachis eyes ( dont argue. U cant know a person is a uchiha till u make the mistake at looking at their eyes and seeing that red sharingan lol). To know u are facing a uchiha u have to take a look at his sharingan. Itachi knowing the power of his opponent would put him into a tsukuyomi the second yondaime makes that mistake. Yondaime CAN NOT BREAK TSUKUYOMI. DONT ARGUE ABOUT THAT AT ALL. U cannot break out of tsukuyomi. Period. Naruto even told bee who has a jinchuuriki to "so called break genjitsu" that If itachi uses tsukuyomi or amaterasu it is all over. Meaning that even bee who has the counter to genjitsu. so to speak will get one shotted by tsukuyomi. Yondaime cannot break tsukuyomi period. The millisecond yondaime gets out of tsukuyomi "lets say yondaime is a ****ing god and is only paralyzed for a second after getting out of tsukuyomi." all itachi needs is a millisecond to totsuka blade yondaime. He purposefully burned down an entire forest to ensure orochimaru cannot escape and burn sasuke and 2 katons. And susanoo. Honestly itachis susanoo hasnt been beaten yet. Yondaime landed a rasengan on madara? itachi landed an amaterasu on madara. And madara quoted "even itachi doesnt know everything about me. If itachi knew a little more about me i would be dead now. "how is that for an inch away from death situation?". Naruto surpassed yondaime ever since he was sage form naruto. Meaning Nagato, Madara rinnegan, Itachi, Naruto (lets say kishi was exaggerating then. so naruto in kyuubi cloak is stronger....), Sasuke EMS have all surpassed Minato. U say kishi says. The manga and anime say it all my friends. Is it not Kishi himself who says what is in the manga and anime?
