Kakashi is the inferior opponent how ever you look at it.
Give kakashi the sharigan and take the sharigan away from itachi, itachi will still beat him. He is superior to kakashi in almost every department.

Tbh there is only a handful of opponents that you should make a vs thread concerning itachi that i would actually respond to with full attention. Kakashi isnt one of them

kakashi didnt learn the thousand of justu until he obtained the sharingan itachi is still faster can use most genjustu other than tsukyomi he also has the fire magatama the ultimate long range fire technique

Itachi has shown 2 genjutsu that don't require sharingan. Neither one was a very high level one at all. Not for Kakashi's intelligence, at least.

This is a tough one:
-They are both geniuses
-Ninjutsu goes to Kakashi
-Genjutsu goes to Itachi
-Taijutsu goes to ether I'm not sure

--If Kakashi is able to break of simple genjutsu easily then this will be a good fight. I believe Itachi is faster but its not like Kakashi can't keep up.
--This fight is a draw, the loser will be the one that makes a simple mistake in battle, The person that wins is the one confuses/tricks the other first.

anyways i understand that w/o sharingan Kakashi wouldnt have 1000 jutsu and he woildnt be able to use lightning blade as efficiently but by this logic, w/o sharingan Itachi would not have any jutsu give or take fireball and two genjutsu. Kakashi made it to jonin w/o his sharingan and it wasnt just luck. Im not callin anyone a fanboy but its just logic, Kakashi has a whole arsenal w/o sharingan while Itachi is completely dependent on sharingan

i already posted the databook article for his binding illusion that states , using this jutsu with handseals is unnecesary, all that is needed is a look into the persons eye...

Are you talking about the demonic illusions? If so, both of those require sharingan and eye contact. I'm going to assume it has to be, because the only other genjutsu he has performed(outside of Tsukyomi) is that one he used on Naruto in their fight at the start of Shippuden.
