if jiraiya manage to enter sage mode then he can beat itachi, but if he can't then itachi will win

I said Itachi - but a battle like this will be very close. Thus, there are plenty of outside factors that can influence the battle (environment especially).

Lets just say he enters SM, b/c he was able to when he fought Pain. But even in that form the fight becomes even.
-Itachi can't really throw any Genjutsu at him, b/c of Ma and Pa and Jiraiya has the upper hand in ninjutsu. Even with Ma and Pa Jiraiya won't be able to get Itachi in a Genjutsu
-But Itachi is smarter in my book so he could possibly trick Jiraiya in some way. Itachi also holds Sasunoo which would turn the tables.
-In the end it will be Sasunoo vs Sage Mode. There is no way Jiraiya will be able to pierce it but, then again can Itachi catch Jiraiya with his sword? I think it will be a battle till someone gets tired most likely Itachi. But Itachi could confuse Jiraiya long enough to pierce him or hit him with black fire
To me it can go ether way Jiraiya would win if the battle goes on to long. Itachi can win if he is able to confuse/trick Jiraiya. Its 50-50 in my book. My 2nd fav vs my 3rd fav

jiraija has absolutly no chance, it doesn´t matter what he is trying even in sm he is not fast enough to dodge amaterasu man and pa can´t subdue tsukoyomi why does nobody get that even kakashi said it you can´t stop tsukoyomi with disturbing your chakra that only works on regular genjutsu also j-man would never get the chance to enter sm it takes too much time and itachi is way to smart for j-man even without susanoo he would beat him
