Stop being fan Choji is underrated he should be atleast on top 15 and we dont even know if genjutsu works on butterfly mode because if it disrupt the chakra this is not DBZ just because A>B B>C doesnt mean A beats C stop it is annoying

Itachi kept up with KM naruto and bee, don't see how choji could be faster than this :shrug:
Itachi would obviously catch choji in a genjutsu easily, don't see choji laying a scratch on itachi if choji has to look at itachi's feet through out the battle :flaw:
Itachi can blast him wit the fire style, fool him with clones (like he does in every battle) and itachi has the brains to delay the fight till the pills are exausted and choji collapses ( since itachi is not using MS techniques to waste stamina ) U_U
Itachi wins in any way u put it without using amaterasu and susanoo :shrug:
yea i don't think choji ever gets into butterfly mode in that fight. he'd be in genjutsu before he ever realized it. kakashi stood absolutely no chance at all against itachi with a mangekyou of his own and being much much brighter and more experienced.
Itachi, but here people are underrating Chouji too much. We don't know what Butterfly mode does, how does it work, etc. Yet people talk trash about Chouji being not on level of embryo Itachi? (wtf), indeed Chouji is a well contender. In general, Chouji is not a match for Itachi, he could cast a genjutsu and it's over for Chouji. But in taijutsu I think Chouji would win, but at the end as I said, Chouji is not a match-up for Itachi.

as a rolling tank when in multi size butterfly form, what could stop him?
kakashi wasnt a giant spinning tank moving much faster than even pain could react. chouji was going up against gedo mazo, edo asuma and edo kakuzu

If Choji does somehow hit Itachi, it's almost certainly going to be either a clone or genjutsu feint. Itachi was able to take his shuriken out, create a water jutsu and an explosive clone almost too fast for Sharingan Kakashi to react, and switch places with that clone in one slick movement. All 3 of Itachi's MS techniques are fatal to Choji and even Katons would probably do damage here (along with other base jutsu). I only give Choji the possibility of med because he seems to have done well off-panel against certain enemies.

Choji is powerful, I'll give him that, but one Amaterasu from Itachi then Choji would a rolling boulder of flames.
