[Theory] Itachi never actually found the Totsuka sword/Yata mirror

Your theory is nice and all, but not when its been stated that the weapons didnt come with susano, but its the same weapons that oro was looking for. Also i wouldnt call what i stated a coup out. Itachi is op enough having legendary weapons and then susano's other weapons makes him even more op.



In the manga it doesnt state that you need amaterasu and tsukuyomi.
Secondly as i told you if you look at the databook entry for tsukuyomi it talks about time and space which again is only confined to itachi.

Itachi somehow possesses both weapons, at the same time, hiding it somewhere it can’t be seen-even though you can see everything and there’s not single mention in the description of the technique itself- thus he is merely choosing to use his spirit weapons at all times, right?

I don't think it's that adding the Susanoo weapons would make Itachi op but that adding them would be superfluous. If you have a weapons like the Totsuka Sword and Yata mirror why would you use lesser weapons? Against Orochimarus 8 headed form no less. I know that was kinda your point just elaborating.

I dont see it as disappointing. I wouldn't expect weapons from Susanoo to be useful compared to one of a kind legendary weapons. One blocks all incoming ninjutsu while the other can seal from afar with just a nick. Not to mention the speed of the Totsuka.

Oh yea Madaras susanoo is far beyond what Itachi has shown but it is Perfect susanoo. I would also say different Justus for different situations. That seal is a killer.

Do you think Sasuke is more special than his brother then? Sasuke, as a main character, will logically reach Madara status, which means he will get some powerful weapons himself. If you think Itachi had some default weapons that didn’t possess any extra abilities, then Sasuke must have something his brother lacked even though they shared dna.

Or do you think Sasuke will archieve perfect susanoo without any special weapons?

Just saying the whole idea of itachi throwing his original susano weapons away seems odd (not even sure if thats possible). Maybe he had those also, but chose to use the legendary weapons :shrug:

Exactly, which is why I believe he had them all the time. Forget about trying to get rid of chakra weapons, the databook is very specific about this and says he wielded the Totsuka sword and the yata mirror with his susanoo, nothing about other default weapons.

Anyway, we will just have to wait and see.

Well I think Sasuke has a few different opportunities for power ups aside from susanoo weapons. Perfect Susanoo, Rinnegan, suigetsus scroll and even his new ameteratsu manipulation we saw when he first it his ems.

yeah each susanoo reflects the personality/ fighting style of the user like sasuke is bow and arrow because of his affinity for it as a young kid, while itachi's is a dreamlike sword because of his genjutsu usage and a shield because he usually is never on the offense in a fight and waits while madara is op so he's destruction incarnate xd
