Itachi killed the strongest clan that was staging the Coup d'etat that would have destroyed the village. You left that part out. Sure it weakened the village but it was the lesser of two evils. BTW Who would you rather have: the strongest clan or one of the two guys that wiped them out in one night?

"wrong" the reason hes not as strong is because he was sick. According to the data book sick Itachi in part 3 surpasses p3 Sasuke in every stat except stamina. It is reasonable for Itachi to have greater stats if he were completely healthy, which would make some exceed the maximum. That would put him in conversation with Madara.

Itachi is the bomb, lol I looked through a little bit of this thread and all it was, was name calling and the creator calling people fan boys, it can't be helped it guess, for me Itachi as a edo is probably in the top 5 in my books yeah has his susanno, with the sword and Mirror, ametarasu and many forms of genjutsu, and superior intellect (as stated many times) puts him as a pretty mean opponent. Out of curiosity (I'm just wondering if only I read that part of manga), if you follow dbz, and there's a fight, with Super Gogeta vs Super Janemba/ kid buu, whichever you'd like, and gogeta is assisted by mr Satan and oolong. They're fighting, all of them but of course you know how that fights gonna end. So in the end , you'll still say that gogeta won cause it was 3 vs 1? lol. Cause that's almost how that fight was. And btw, don't remember chapter/episode, but I'll look it up. Orochimaru states he has no chance against itachi, even at full health and neither does assume, and only. Hance they have is to fuse. So hintidy hint hint.

Ok. How the fight went down. Correct me if I'm wrong. (making some very minor chronological changes for points sake )
Itachi and Nagato own bee and naru. Itachi breaks out of control. Itachi saves bee and narutos asses and burns the freaking dog. They fight Nagato united. Nagato owns bee and naruto, and then itachi saves them again with susanoos rib cage. Then proceeds to burn the crap out of Nagato. Nagato being one of the strongest ninjas in naruverse, has only real effective way against Amaterasu so he frees himself from death but is severely injured. He proceeds to make a hugeass chibaku tenses. Bee is dumbfounded. Naruto starts to panic. Itachi looks at the technique and realizes its weakness and then explains what to do. Then they stop chibaku tenses, and itachi seals Nagato. End of fight. It seems that around 90% of the fight was itachi vs Nagato while bee and naruto were only hindering itachi. And finally, it was never stated by by anyone that itachi alone could not have broken chibaku tenses, especially since he can use multiple has aka magatamas. If one has followed the manga and anime, one knows itachi is always careful and never underestimates his opponents, that's the only reason he told naruto and bee to use projectiles. This is my argument and I would love to see someone provide evidence stating otherwise, not just a hate filled comment like"wrong. Itachi couldntve broken chibaku you loser. Nagato stomps itachi. I win". By the looks of the fight, he doesn't. And I am admitting that in terms of power, Nagato is stronger than itachi, but it doesn't change the fact that he beat him. <3
