Itachi wins this one with his brain. The problem with MS Sasuke is that he was using MS recklessly. Itachi can trick him in to using his chakra up.
Proof?
No. Itachi and Kisame walked into the small building to recruit Deidara for the Akatsuki.
Deidara tried to fight Itachi, but was promptly defeated by Itachi's Genjutsu.
Itachi knew nothing about Deidara's abilities, but used Genjutsu to trick him.
Once Deidara tried to wrap Itachi up with the snake, Itachi placed the Genjutsu on him.
Deidara was in his late teens and so was Itachi.
Orochimaru gave Sasuke Curse Mark, and fought against Itachi with the Snake Monster.
Itachi endured all of that while sick and still fought Sasuke to exhaustion.[SUB]You must be registered for see images[/SUB]
Who the hell is there to compete with Itachi's genius? Orochimaru, said to be one of the most gifted genius of his time was beaten near instantly, twice... with no difficulty. No one in the entire Uchiha clan could stand up to him, not even in a 3vs1 situation. He beat Kakashi in less than a second with a single genjutsu. He had the mind of a hokage at an extremely young age. In all sense of the word genius, Itachi is. Honestly, How doesn't it put everyone elses to shame? At the same age, I would say the only person that even would stand a chance against him are the people who got ridiculous powerups or use life forfeiting moves.
That's Sasuke's Curse Mark, Orochimaru wasn't helping him. Like I said too, Orochimaru was severely weakened and didn't make a difference. Sasuke wasn't the most powerful guy around back then so it's not a huge accomplishment.
Who gave him the Curse Mark? Orochimaru. It helped him in the fight so Orochimaru gave him help.[SUB]

Sasuke outlasts.
Sasuke is longer range and can keep distance vs totsuka.
Sasuke could probably fight off amaterasu by his enton while same cant said to itachi.
And of course sasuke has good summonings.
You're ignorant. Asf. You still think Itachi doesn't have enough stamina to go against MS Sasuke? He outlasted CM Sasuke. Twice. And fought the Snake. Sasuke can't so shit but use Enton if he's long distance. >Susano'o ribcage blocks Enton. >Yata Mirror Blocks anything else in Sasuke's arsenal. >If Itachi looks at Sasuke's chin, that'll be set on fire by Amaterasu. If only Susano'o wasn't translucent... Snake and Hawks get one shot by Amaterasu and Totsuka.[SUB]

Ok. Then Hagoromo was helping Itachi because he gave Itachi's side of the family the Sharingan.
Shisui was also helping because he gave Itachi the MS by having Itachi kill him.
Stop reaching so hard. If Orochimaru wasn't lifting a finger to help, then he wasn't helping.
/facepalm He gave Sasuke the Curse Mark and used the Snake to attack Itachi. Itachi outlasted CM Sasuke and soloed Oro's Snake.[SUB]

The Curse Mark is Sasuke's power, or did Naruto get help from Minato in all of his fights because Minato put Kurama in him?
Orochimaru did use his hydra jutsu, you're right there, but he was weakened and it was more of a stalling tactic to try to take Sasuke's body.
Sasuke used all of his chakra against Deidara earlier and to set up Kirin.
All I'm saying is Oro helped Sasuke in that fight, which Itachi still endured and you're denying it.[SUB]

Sasori was there too. Deidara couldn't gain flight, and they did know of Deidara's abilities; especially after he explained to them why his art is such a bang.
Deidara was already in the genjutsu before he tried to wrap Itachi in the centipede, that wasn't even the real Itachi; Itachi was standing next to the hole in the wall. Itachi's genjutsu trick also made no sense. It was a trick to get Deidara to use the jutsu on the wrong target, that's understandable, but how was it wrapped around himself?? It should had been coiled around air since that wasn't the real Itachi standing there.
Deidara was recruited after Orochimaru left, he was Orochimaru's replacement, and Orochimaru left when Itachi joined. Deidara is two years younger than Itachi. He was a kid, and not nearly as powerful as when Sasuke fought him, and Itachi had major advantages.

Encounter 1: Orochimaru was dying and had no killing intent, he tried to take Itachi's body and got denied, he left. No fight.
Encounter 2: Orochimaru was an armless disembodied spirit with almost no chakra stuck to a growth on Sasuke's neck, not a huge threat.
The Uchiha clan were fodder, good to know.
Itachi tried to beat Kakashi without MS and failed, making him resort to MS. Even then, Kakashi knew not to make eye contact but still decided to have a staring contest thinking the Sharingan would protect him. Itachi couldn't beat Kakashi without the MS in pt.2 either.
Itachi had the mindset of a Hokage, as in he was more interested in the village and it's people than other playing with the other kids; something a Hokage needs to have.
How does that put anyone else to shame?

Orochimaru was not in a weak and dying state the first time. Weak and dying would be the state he was in when he fought Sasuke. Well when you say Weak, of course he is... in comparison to Itachi. His intent was to be able to take Itachi's body, he knew the capability of the Uchiha and yet he still ****ed up. Not only did he **** up, he ****ed up when he was behind Itachi with all the possible upperhands.
Almost no chakra? He look like he had plenty of chakra to me, enough to form a gigantic hydra and then be confident enough to survive a sword blow that destroyed his entire abdomen. He definitely had more chakra than Itachi at the time, that's for sure.
Uchiha fodder? It has been said several times in the manga that if you fight an Uchiha 1v1, run the **** away. That's how powerful they are. I guess they are fodder when compared to someone like Itachi, Obito, or Sasuke, BUT compared to most people they are the elite.
tried to beat without ms? they barely had a scuffle before Itachi activate his ms. He probably could have beaten him without it, but it was 3vs2 remember? bringing an enemy down to 2v2, especially being able to eleminate your strongest enemy instantly, is a smart move. Also I remember that part in part 2, it wasn't Itachi's actual body doing the fighting.
Thankyou on agreeing with me on the mindset of a hokage, he also had the strength of a hokage at the youngest age in this manga (only arguable one is Obito, but thats more along the lines of the ages not being clear)
How does this not? He took on two of the greatest genius with no difficulty and and entire clan of people who are said to be born with great strength. Who can you give me as an example that is a superior genius to Itachi?
Exactly.[SUB]

You're partially right. But what's the significance of this "endure" argument?
You said Sasuke would outlast Itachi and I'm saying how Itachi and MS Sasuke could stand on equal ground.[SUB]

LOL @deadpool Orochimaru already admitted his inferiority to Itachi meaning even if he fought him with the intent to kill he would've still lost. If you need a scan I'll get it so you can stop spouting bullsh*t.
Says the guy with an Itachi shrine. Yeah, you're clearly not bias or anything.
