Itachi cannot beat Zabuza based off Current Battles

1. Itachi's speed is on a whole new league above Zabuza's, he could simply leave the mist, or just dodge Zabuza's blade attacks.
Plus, Itachi's Sharingan is far better than Kakashi's at that time. He could more than likely see through the mist...

Zabuza has the upper-hand when facing Itachi if they battled right now. Why you might ask? Well, Itachi said the Hidden Mist would not fool him, but that goes against the manga, and the anime.

1.) Itachi has no counter for the Hidden Mist Technique. That means he cannot use genjutsu on his opponent because he cannot see his opponent. Kakashi only lived against Zabuza because Kakashi's ninken could sniff him out. They are sensory summons to an extent.

2.) Itachi has no sensory skills that I know of. He has no summons that have sensory skills that I know of. Counter that. He wouldn't be able to lay a finger on Zabuza.

3.) You Itachi fanboys always say, "Well, (Insert any name) has no counter for his Susano'o, overpowered shield, and overpowered sword. Well guess what? Itachi never starts a battle out in Susano'o. This is not edo Itachi we are talking about either, so he does have limited chakra.

4.) He has no counter to the Silent Killing Technique. That hole in Zabuza's sword, is ment for de-capitating. Itachi wouldn't be able to just magicly summon Susano'o in the alloted amount of time it would take Zabuza to kill him.

Please someone counter how Itachi see's through the mist, how he can counter Zabuza's sword, and if he can even see through the mist? Do not say he will just go in Susano'o, because the manga is proof he never goes Susano'o in the begining of a fight.

It is not getting stomped if Itachi has to use Susano'o rib-cage. He has never shown in any fight, that he starts in Susano'o, or goes Susano'o the first 10 secs of a fight. Show me a scan of when he does this.

Itachi's handseal speed is too fast for Zabuza to see, he can EASILY use his Bunshin feints to leave a clone in his place and escape the mist while Zabuza ends up attacking an explosive Bunshin, blowing it up and killing or injuring him.

1. itachis sharingan could easily read the seals for hidden mist technique nd den all he has to do is reverse it not to mention his firestyle could easily vapourise the mist (NOTE :he was able to copy the water clone technique as well as the water fang bullet)

2.speaking of speed even kakashi with his sharingan couldnt read his movements nd der is no way on earth that zabuza wud read itachis movements nd itachi is well known for performing hand seals faster than even a sharingan users vision can identify

1) Itachi is considered one of the smartest ninjas in the universe, if he can't see his opponent , he will more likely protect himself in the susano'o
2) If you give both intel, he will again shield him self with susano'o. If you don't give them both intel, Zabuza will definetely get caught into tsukuyomi. If you give intel only to zabuza , which is not a fair 1v1 but anyway, see 1)
Plus , he can make some crow clones, which zabuza can't sense through, and cast amaterasu them when needed.

OP: you cant compare an unimportant character to the likes of itachi which had a bigger role in this manga. these character are protected by the authors plot, no matter how you simulate it. its no use, if the writer would make them fight i dont think he let an unimportant character beat itachi

what i see in their battle is zabuza would lose in a 1 genjutsu before they start or he got his ass shot by a shiruken. itachi is skilled with it without even looking
