he knows how to break free of most, but itachi's genjutsu is on a completely different level... Kakashi couldn't break free, or fight it even with his sharingan in part 1

he only said things like that to keep kisame from fighting...i believe he volunteer to go after the nine tails to protect naruto...i also believe all those times he said he needed to rest that he really didnt need to...it was just cause he knew that kisame had respect for him and would listen without question...he had multiple opportunities to catch naruto...and no he took itachi's eyes cause he needs to see..

when kisame and itachi went after naruto(you know when itachi broke sasukes arm) kisame wanted to fight jiraiya but itachi told him that he wouldn't win and that he doubted that even he could beat him. itachi and kisame are way better then sasuke. so if those to couldn't and wouldn't try to fight him what chance does sasuke have.plus naruto is to op'd

itachi did that because he never planned on capturing naruto....and to keep kisame from effin stuff up like he always does...he basically just keeps kisame from killing ppl i think ppl just take to much from it...if jiraiya and itachi fought i dont see how he would win honestly...

as for kisame...i dont kno about that...that guy is a monster he gets stronger as u get weaker...the longer u fight him the stronger and better he gets which is really the only way to beat pain...u need some1 with huge chakra reserves to last long...kisame can do that...lol i dont think jiraya can beat killer bee easily but kisame str8 raped the guy who raped sasuke lmfao...guy is one of the few that can handle kisame simply because he has afternoon tiger...thats it...not saying j-man wouldnt beat kisame i think kisame is immensly underrated tho...
