Sorry but this thread fails, and I still think its a draw anyway.
Because I like both Itachi and Nagato.
But there are so many other combinations and skills to mix, its impossible to give a winner.

1st of all, whats with all that 5 on 1 crap. Its Nagato not six paths of pain.

2nd of all, I never said Itachi is better and Boney Nagato doesnt have much strength.

For the Itachi fans, if we really want a plot free battle here, Nagato ends this by using Banshou Tenin to rip Itachi's eyes from his skull. Kishi made him too HAX so for the purpose of a discussion, i'll ignore this little fact.

I don't think he has that type of accuracy with BT. Especially if it is a moving target at a distance.

The nail was stationary and right next to his feet. Adding distance takes away from accuracy when pulling stuff in.

Deva + another path = draw

Bee - beast bomb
Itachi - sassano attack


All were needed to stop chik tensei.



Not to mention he was taking on bee and naruto and doing quite well for not being able to move due to his paralysis. Almost sucked naruto' soul while absorbing bees chakra.


So ur right there's proof whos stronger and kishi made it obvious that nagato was stronger.

Nagato with his pain bodies - took on konoha and the nine tails. Almost won aswell.

Nagato without Pains and fighting himself - Took on naruto, bee and itachi and owned all of them.


just imagine if nagato wasnt paralysised, he would be broken.

It's a fact that Petra path absorbs any ninjutsu, susanoo is a ninjutsu where chakra takes a physical form. It's getting absorbed just like how rasenganvd is a physical form of chakra.
