again it wouldn't matter if itachi genjutsu is an instant because nagato has great mastery of his chakra.well are you going to say when you're a perfect jinchurriki and you rely on a tailed beast to disrupt chakra that it wouldn't work on tsykuyomi since kakashi doesn't have great mastery of his chakra.

the other rule is it doesn't matter how good the genjutsu is if your able to have mastery of you're own chakra or a partner sync in you like a tailed beast that are have great chakra it will disrupt that genjutsu but they will be in it but they will break out and wouldn't be affected much.

sasuke can break it but others not likely and i don't think its invincible(no jutsu is even itachi said that) as u put it but nagato is certainly not immune as ppl think he is

Minato, Madara, and Hashirama are capable of beating Nagato and Itachi but they both can still put up a good fight against any of them, at least IMO.

Shikamaru had a tough time beating Hidan who hardly moves or uses any special abilities. Oh and he sprained his poor ankle during the Pain Arc . Yes, he's smart but intelligence doesn't work if you can't keep up with your opponent in other areas. Shikamaru is FAR beyond Naruto's level and last I checked, both Itachi and Nagato were stronger than Naruto.

I find it pointless to make and vs threads at all....
because at the end of the day, we do not know everything about a certain character and therefore would be unable to predict the outcome of the battle.
Only kishi knows what will happen or what would happen in each and every event.
also, i'd like to point out that it is not always the person with the bigger gun that wins a battle, the skill and experience of a person also allows the person to gain an advantage in combat.
as i recall, it is said that a shinobi with a stone is still better than a guy with a kunai.

Dude! You are sooo right. You can't predict the outcome of a Naruto battle. The same way you cant predict the outcome of a football match. Judging based on abilities only, Who would have thought that Shikamaru would take out Hidan? Or that Naruto would beat Neji? Or that First would Defeat Madara (PS Madara said he hasnt fully recovered from the beating. So @Shawd don't give me that pretending crap. Does it even sound logical to you? He was thoroughly beaten period!)? Or that Konan would nearly kill Madara?

Most times, Its only when they actually fight that you start seeing techs you didnt know they had. e.g. Jiraiya vs Pain, Itachi vs Sasuke, Deidara vs Sasuke. So dont judge based on what you watched. Its only Kishi that can authoritatively tell. Otherwise, you are just guessing

learn this anyone can defeat anybody in narutoverse this fact has been proven countless times throughout the manga, no one man is invincible every technique has flaws and weaknesses. with adequate intel on your opponent combined with a good strategy the best of the best can be taken down, itachi and nagato are no exceptions. :flaw::flaw::flaw:

this is not dbz where as if you have a lower power lvl than your oponent its an automatic fail.

I don't usually disagree with your post but I would have to on this.

We have seen Minato only use S-T and Resengan, along with his intelligent but yet he was able to match both Raikage and Bee, won't say what really happen here as it wasn't explained clearly but as an assumption, we can say Raikage and Bee were outclassed or beaten. He even outsmarted Tobi (I do realize Tobi, was controlling the fox and all) but with one attack, he marked, wounded and took the fox out of Tobi's control which is quiet impressive.

Itachi just with regular Sharingan is able to take the likes of Oro and Deidara out within seconds.

As a little joke I read somewhere, which is also somewhat true

3rd Hoakge took 3-4 episode to beat Oro
Sasuke took 2-3 to beat Oro
Itachi took 30 seconds

Itachi with just his genjutsu was deadly alone (He could beat many shinobi's just with a regular genjutsu and even experienced ones), as Minato was with his S-T (He could S-T and stab people with Kunai's and end battles), it was said that elders from other villages told there shinobi to run when you see the Yellow Flash of Konoho and this was before he was Hokage.

The truth is Minato, Itachi and Nagato are three of the most popular character and most over hyped/under hyped at times.
