I never understand why people try and rank Ninja. Jiraiya is stonger than Orochimaru but can't beat Orochimaru. Jiraiya is symbolism for the toad, Orochimaru the snake and Tsunade the snail. It's the Japanese verison of rock paper scissors: Toad>Snail>Snake>Toad.
So: Jiraiya beats Tsunade
Tsunade beats Orochimaru
Orochimaru beats Jiraiya
It doesn't matter how you rank them, Tsunade can't beat Jiraiya even though Jiraiya is better.

Itachi means weasel, bad omen (black crows are the most famous bad omen) and death (crows again) in Japanese. You can't beat death, and you can't control death, you can't out smart it, and you can't overpower it.

The manga says that "Hashirama gained control of the 9-tails and then it was sealed into Mito Uzumaki so that she could better aid him."

And that is a direct quote. I should know I have quoted it enough.

So either he had help from the 9-tails by itself, or like what I believe, Mito sealed it into herself and then helped hashirama. Those are the only two options, since that is what the manga says.

If need be I will find the manga page but it says that.

no i know what page your talkin about. But the 1st looked pretty beat up because he was fighting both the fox and madara. The fox was sealed inside his wife to better aid him fight madara. thats basically all its saying. its not mito and the 1st vs madara and the fox. its mito taking the fox out of the picture and having the 1st and madara fight.

I am not afraid of admitting I am wrong.

The only possible thing that could be wrong is that Sasori might be immune to genjutsu. It doesn't make any sense but that has a slight chance of being true.

Here is why I don't think it is true though.

Sasori has a chakra network yes?

Sasori must have some part of that puppet that governs it's actions. It doesn't matter if it is a wooden brain to make it last forever, if Sasori can think then some part of him must govern his actions. Otherwise he would be exactly like his parents as puppets, which is a mindless puppet body that was once a real person.

You see what I am saying? Even if he has a fake brain, he still thinks, and chakra still runs through him, as he is able to use jutsu. So that is why genjutsu in theory should work on him.

No one is automatically immune to genjutsu except possibly the dead bodies that Nagato uses as his paths, or Edo Tensei ninjas that are being directly controlled.

He needs chakra that can be controlled, which he has. I'm so sick of hearing Sasori could beat Itachi. Sasori wouldn't beat Kakashi. Heck Sasori had trouble with Sakura!

How could Sasori not beat Itachi, the only way genjustu would work on Sasori is if he uses his real self and not his other puppets and every single one of his puppets has poison that could kill you quickly and the whole point of being a puppeteer is to stay hidden and use their puppets.

And if he could beat Itachi he could beat Kakashi

Really had trouble with Sakura no not at all the only reason Sakura is alive is that Chiyo was controlling her and sense Chiyo was a puppeteer as well she was able to read the movements of the puppets plus she is the one to teach Sasori puppet techniques so yea.

i think we are going to see the true power of Itachi until now Itachi never show his true power he is master in using all of his powers but suska is not. and Itachi was the only reasons of survival of konoha because after the death of Itachi pain start his com pain for capturing the jinturkies .I think because of Itachi we will see the fight between Madara and Tobi.....Madara is still under control of Kabuto..........

I believe Itachi's sharingan would allow him to predict the puppets movements and his great reflex and speed would allow him to counter safely

He could just Amaterasu the Kazekage puppet and stay in safe range till it's destroyed

He could encase himself in Susanoo and Amaterasu the whole lot of the puppets... we've seen how much he can produce during his fight with Sasuke...

And Itachi could basically use Amaterasu right off the bat... Sasori can't swap if he hasn't a puppet summoned already can't he?

Besides, Itachi is really observant, I doubt he wouldn't notice the swap

Itachi can also easily figure out Sasori's weakspot especially since his sharingan allows him to pinpoint the exact position of his heart, aka the sole source of chakra in Sasori's body, via sharingan.

Like I told the guy in the last Sasori vs. Itachi thread: it doesn't matter Amaterasu would end the fight before it began. Eventually that guy agreed.

I asked where it says that Shisui's genjutsu is way stronger than Itachi's. Yes Shisui had KA but he could only use that once every 10 years and Shisui didn't use it on Danzo when Danzo took Shisui's eye so.... wtf? Danzo wouldn't touch Itachi.

That was usable only once every ten years. So think of how many days that is (3652 I'm pretty sure) and then think of how many fights an average ninja goes through in a year, or even a day.

It is highly unlikely that Shisui would have Kotoamatsukami if he ever fought Itachi.
