[Discussion] Is Team 10 the best team in Naruto?

i think one team is being overlooked because there not in konoha thats gaara, temari, and kankuro i think they are best team

New Team 7/ Team Kakashi (Naruto, Sakura, Sai capt-Yamato)

Team 7 Original hypothetical team (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura capt Kakashi)

Team 10/ Ino-Shika-Cho (Ino, Shikumaru, Choji capt Asuma)

Team Kurenai (Hinata, Shino, Kiba capt Kurenai)

Team Guy (Lee, Neji, Tenten capt Guy)

Team Sand (Gaara, Temari, Kankuro)

Team Sai lol (Omoi, Karui capt Samui)

Taka/Hebi (Sasuke, Karin, Suigetsu, Jugo)

lol maybe i'm going over board but i named all the teams within the same age groups.

Sauske is a genius in his own right, he deduced a way to counteract Dederias blast element/clay, and created his own type of lightning type chakra nature with his lightening blade(not chidori), and also the Riaton senbon(sp?) Shikamaru is good at making plans and staying one step a head. But him vs Sauske even with out MS would be a good bout.

Sai was also good enough to be enlisted into the root divison of ANBU, not really sure if thats saying much, but he has some skillz. If he only knew some sealing style juitsu he could wreck some ninja. I'd say he would give Shikamaru a run for his money too.



He would have to catch him first and hope that it wasnt a bug clone while hes being tracked and hunted by Shinos destruction bugs.

I'm not saying Sasuke and Sai wouldn't beat him in combat thats assumed but their intelligence is just not on par to Shikamarus

Shikamaru vs Shino would be very close. but i could see a situation where Shikamaru gets Shino in a shadow possesion and Shino just calmly has his bugs swarm Shikamaru. they both are very tactical geniouses that win with brains over brawns. Shikamaru is of course smarter but it still could go either way.

It seems like they are the best team in Naruto given how well they work together. They are lead by the smartest kid in Naruto's generation. A powerful fighter in Choji. And a useful girl. A very rare thing in Naruto where the girl is always the Load. Each one covers the others moves.

Compare them to the other teams.

Anyone with a brain would take Naruto over Choji. But I'd take Shika over Sai and Ino over Sakura

I'd take Choji over Kiba. Shika over Shino. And Ino over Hinata

Lee and Butterfly CHoji is a tie. Shika and Neji is a tie although I lean toward Shika. But I'd take Ino over Tenten. Banana fan or no banana fan.

I agree. In terms of actual teamwork and how thier skills complement each other, they are the best team. Many villages have famous fighters, but there are not many famous teams. Theres the silver and gold brothers, the legendary sannin, and Ino-shika-cho. In terms of Raw power they are not the greatest, but thier teamwork in unparalleled.

They are still together and know each others limitations well, however i will agree and disagree
Naruto over Choji = yes; Shika over Sai= yes, Ino over Saku= NO ( I will pick even hinata over INO) she is really useless, the drawback of her abilities is the fact that she blacks out! BTW the only character I will choose INO ove is SHINO, he's just bloody creepy (bugs!!)

Lee over Choji= yes, lee has more heart and will push himself to the bitter end, choji might freeze again
Shika neji=tie maybe Shika

With all of this said I AM A TEAM 7 FAN, a close second would be TEAM Gai.

Shikamaru could Kill Shino? Don't say that so easily. Shino is a strong ninja. He just didn't get the face time like Shika did... And if you want to be technical Team 10 isn't together either. They disbanded when they became chuunins.

AND since you want to be technical naruto's team is TEAM KAKASHI. Which consists of Kakashi/Sakura/Naruto Only reason Yamato and Sai are there was because Kakashi was in the hospital. But thats their original (post shippuden) team.

Now in my original post I was talking about the teams that were formed when they graduated from the Academy. Sasuke/Naruto/Sakura are stronger than Shikamaru/Ino/Chouji and they are stronger than Neji/Lee/Tenten.

This is exactly why I said don't underestimate Shino. Shino is the most underestimated character in Konoha. It's because he doesn't have a lot of face time... But Shino and everybody in his clan are pretty strong.

I think not Shikamaru is smart but Shino is smart too. It would come down to power and charka. Shino can win because he is basically bugs. Can Shikamaru catch all his bugs in a shadow clone??? Also would he out last him before his shadows tricks wears down. So Shino would win.

1- team #10 asuma since they fight in group strategy
2- team #8 since they are range and melee, complementary abilities.
3- team #9? team Guy they are all melee, not enough info on tenen.
4- team #7 sasuke and naruto have a good dynamic but sakura is useless.

in terms of Strongest.
#1 team 7 - everyone knows why
#2 team 9- lee+neji can beat the other 2 teams in speed/combat
-bonus -byakugan sensor + chakra disabling ability
#3 team 8 - stronger bonus than last team, but weaker in speed/combat
#4 team 10 - choji is a boost and shikamaru is smart but they relly on chance, battle conditions. ino only has 1 move, if she misses shes pretty much a dead. shikamaru has low chakra and is more of a support. butterfly choji is strong so might tip the balance to 3rd place.

But no 10 is not da best if I had to pick I would say Shino squad are da most rounded (power smarts, teamwork..etc) + da bugs eat chakra anything dat takes chakra from da enemy is just beast

Who are you comparing shino vs? You know Shino goes hand to hand sometimes also he has many different bugs I think. If you ever check bug spray it work on some bugs and doesn't on some. For example bee spray you can not use it on certain beatles because it would be useless.

Also are you sure they have bug spray lol.

We seen them with movie theaters but no cars lol...

I pretty much agree with everything except that Hinata will be over Ino...
As a team strength though, Team Gai surpasses Team 10 but as teamwork, Team 10 will pwned them It's nearly a tie between these two teams but I'll also have a slight lean towards Shika's team xd

As for Team 7, in terms of power, well they are better since Naruto is greater than all Team 10 members actually xd But as a whole team like complementing each other, they suck. If Sasuke was here, it'll be some other case.

Shikamaru is just a better version of Shino. Plus Shino is barely in the manga. He has almost no character development. He is like Tenten. Shikamaru appears a lot in the manga and is an important character. No way would Kishi allow someone like Shino to beat him.

Shikamaru was named a proxy general by Gaara. What was Shino named?
