Is Madara really more talented than Itachi

Honestly I can't see anything that points to that conclusion. Sure, he's an Indra reincarnation, but exactly what advantages does that actually afford Madara? Most other things Madara does, aren't indicative of higher talent. Is there anything that points to Madara be more talented in one field or more talented overall than Itachi?

He's, from what we have seen, the most versatile in weaponry, having seen his stash in the cave, but that's probably negligible. When it comes to the Sharingan, they both can use Susano'o, but Madara is the only person whose eyes are able to differentiate clones from real people, and we've never seen his Mangekyou techniques, probably because that would have made him more powerful than he already was. When it comes to intelligence, they are on the same level, although people will confuse Itachi's wisdom as intelligence and give him the win here, which is wrong. Basically, in every relevant category there is for natural talent, Madara will match or exceed Itachi.

No, that's never noted to be an ability of the EMS and further proof is Sasuke being unable to do it. I also see you specifically noted wood clones, although it works with all clones, shown by how Madara could tell Naruto's shadow clones apart.

Yes, so it may be possible to argue it's not a Sharingan specific feature (although I believe Madara notes it to be his eyes specifically to the Kage), but since it's unique to him, it's definitely something to consider for talent.

I think it's remote control of Susa weapons and shin's ability is based off of it. In the war arm he remotely controlled his Susa blade when Shukaku blocked it. And I also think he has a Kamui type ability of some sort maybe not like pocket dimensions but strictly to locations like mini Shin monster. I don't see him escaping with Izuna surrounded by Senju he probably used the smoke bomb to hide the jutsu he was using.

Madara attributed the ability to distinguish clones to his own ocular powers even against Hashirama.

The same is true for his use against the the kage bunshin. If it was a Rinnegan power then Nagato would've been able to tell the Naruto shadow clones apart from the real ones. I think Madara and Sasuke retain their Sharingan powers with the Rinnegan.

Ems grants that ability...ive said this many times. Sasuke did it against kabuto. If u rewatch the episode Itachi couldn't notice the difference from the the real kabuto. But SASUKE could due to ems. He shot his susanoo arrow at the real kabuto.

Yeah, no. Sasuke literally only reacted after Kabuto started to emerge from the snake. Until then, he had to listen to Kabuto because he couldn't tell the difference.
