Is Kyubbi Naruto's power or not?

So, what do you think? Do you believe honestly it's his power or not and why? For my part, I think it can be considerd his power cause he's suffered for being its Jin a lot and he has the right to use its chakra/power. =D

OT: Now seriously. Naruto didn't choose to get the kyuubi, he has endured a lot being a jinchuriki. The kyuubi killed both his parents. So you can see that he sufered a lot. Either way, naruto manage to get the kyuubi's chakra and he even became friends with him. And, after all, kurama is sealed in naruto.
So, yeah, it should be considered his power.

Alright so my stand on the whole kyuubi and naruto deal is no. I believe the kyubbi is not naruto's power. My reason is very simple, if kyubbi was indeed naruto's power then he would not have to wait for kurama to mend his chakra in order for him to go into bm. Another reason I believe it is not part of his power is because kurama is a living creature and naruto is using that living creature's power. For example, in a hypothetical situation where it is possible to separate both kurama and naruto; naruto would not have kurama's power but kurama would still have all of his abilities.
