If Kakashi was actually able to cut a bolt of lightning, will Kakashi be able to cut Sasuke's kirin effectively ending the stream? Could Kakashi overpower kirin with his raikiri like he did with Kakuzu's raiton technique? You decide

Nahhh. Kirin is too large for it to be compared to Gian, and the Gai reference was likely simply foreshadowing to the event in which Raikir cut Gian.

I don't think so. Kirin is consisted of multiple lightning bolts put together and it's simply too damn big to cut.

On topic though, no. I doubt Kakashi could cut Kirin like a bolt of lightning. Kirin isn't your typical lightning bolt, its much faster and much more devastating. The Raikiri itself MIGHT be able too, but Kakashi has nowhere near the reflex abilities to pull it off. Even Itachi (who had much better control over his sharingan than Kakashi) barely had the reflexes to pull out Susanoo in time.

Kakashi can't possibly cut through something as large as Kirin, can he even react to the speed in which Kirin travels? I doubt it.

He maybe able to evade by warping it with Kamui but doing so will probably deplete his chakra by massive amounts until he isn't able to cast it anymore and thus gets vaporized.
