Is Kakashi a kage material ?

tsuchikage almost killed sasuke because sasuke was weak because of fighting with the other kages and his eyes hurt because of the MS so really he could have dodge that atack so does kakashi i think he got what it takes to be a kage

kakashi is waaay too weak, he loses almost every fight against someone powerful (itachi, kakuzu) and he only just stacks up to zabuza who doesnt seem all that impressive

Whats with everyone dissing the other Kages? If tsunade puched you like once you would die, the mizukage has 2 kekkai genkais, gaara can pretty much make his sand do anything, and A and the old man are as strong as an ox.
Yeah kakashi is strong but he has none of his own jutsus except the chidori.
And he doesnt even want to be a kage.
Sure if no one else was available to be hokage then maybe they would go to him but hes about as good as guy. there are heaps of people at his level or above.

i think he is. he could beat garra simply cuz hes faster and cuz of garras youth. probaly the tcshkage(however the hell u spell it) cuz of his old age and again cuz of kakakshi's speed. everybody else no. but like someone mentioned earlier hes not jus a pushover anybody going against him wouldnt be able to take him lightly. well other than madara or a jinchuriki.
Kakashi's techniques shouldn't be analyzed as he's all about the mental side of fighting. Give him enough time and he'll find a way to beat most shinobi out there. Fights involving ninja like the Raikage would only be difficult due to the fact that the Raikage fights by impulse leaving little time for thought. In terms of the mental side Kakashi is more then prepared to take the roll, but if techniques are truly going to be the base arguement, he does have his Sharingan technique that he was using on Diedara (the name escapes me at the moment). Doesn't matter either way as I can't see him taking the job, though it is an interesting topic.
I see a lot of how people think that Kakashi can beat the Tsuchikage and Mizukage...that's just crazy.
I feel Kakashi would be on the same level as Gaara when it comes to ability. Also compared to Tsunada...I really don't know. I wish we've seen more of her abilities but then again she is a med ninja.
I wanna see the powers of the Tsuchikage, hopefully we get that manga where he fights his former master with that "Dust Technique" because it certainly sounds awesome and the recent anime really showed how cool it could be. Plus he flies so pwn.

he has a mangekyo sharingan that sends things into other dimensions and knows over a thousand techniques so yes on paper but in battle against other kages idk he would probably beat the mizukage based on the jutsu's she used against sasuke
Gaara never used his final ultimate defence against any of them characters, the only person he has used it on is that person who pulls bones out of his body and who had the curse mark. Gaara has never had a serious fight where he has had to use his full power yet. So dont judge him so easily.Gaara's so called ultimate defence was beaten by Sasuke .. Rock Lee Naruto and Deidara .. IMO Kakashi would beat the sh*t out of Gaara .. And .. I think he's a good match for Onoki and Mei.. About the 4th raikage .. i wonder if he could keep up with his speed .. I know i ll be raped for stating this .. but IMO kamui is the strongest MS tech

Kakashi is a Kage material. End of discussion. For gods sake even Pein feared him which i believe that Pein is the strongest character in this series. Naruto beat him because he has got all the info,secrets about him otherwise Pein would probably raped Naruto with all of the Konoha
Actually he did use his ultimate defense. If fact it was in the first series of naruto that we find out about the sand in the fight against rock lee. This is also where it is reviled that its weakness is speed. However, it wasn't used in the battle sasuke(young) and Naruto because he was using it as his jinkuri transformation.
On the topic of kakashi being hokage. It is constantly been alluded to that he would be hokage if tsunadi refused to be or was unable to be. Clearly he fulfills the requirement of knowing enough jitsu and his level of battle strategy is almost to shikamaru's level and with kumi and the 1,00's of copied jitsu he is certainly powerful. However, I think he is better where he is because he is skilled in so many different situations that it would kinda be a waste to see him sitting behind a desk all day.
In short yes he could be hokage, no I don't think he would be the best choice.

In any fight, Kakashi would give whoever his opponent is a run for their money. Kakashi is smart. He knows his own limits, and he knows his opponent's. He will always pull of some trick to turn the tides. He may not win against another Kage, but they would have hard time putting Kakashi down. Kakashi doesn't just use whatever he has and fights, he uses his brains.
Kakashi is Hokage Material and a good one too. Every kage has his own strenght.
Raikage - real fast and brute forse
Tsuchikage - can fly and has a rare element (strong element)
Mizukage - dangerous jutsu's and very much unknown
Kazekage - ultimate sand defense and has good control of his sand now
Hokage - brute force and healing power/secret technique (used against pain, released her seal)

hm, i dont know. he is smart enough and apart from tsunade he would be the best choice for konoha, but i think he would loose to any of the current other kage.
kamui's preparation-time is to long and it's to easy to evade or block. apart from kamui he just lacks the "bamm, you are dead" technique, that e.g. tsuchikage and raikage have, nor does he have the long-range-hard-to-evade-jutsus that e.g. deideira, sasuke, gaara and probably the mizukage have. That would be ok, if he had the endurance that naruto has, so that he can create a trap of multiple jutsus to hit with raikiri, but it's the other way round, 5 jutsus and it's over for him. and he has no defense apart from his speed, which is just slightly above average.
so all in all, his strength is just above anbu-level, not really kage-level.
