Is Kakashi a kage material ?

think about this though.. gaara is the kage in his village because theres no one else good enough. there arent many good fighters at suna.. if kakashi lived there he would definetely be hokage

i would have to say no because of the simple fact that because he has nothing that really stand out besides his M. Sharingan he's smart,quick,strong but all the rest of the kages have atleast something unique about them i dont even think tsnuade is kage material unlike jiariya.

don't forget that they also said that they made gaara the kazekage to keep a better eye on him.
Hmmm my thoughts on this. Well I believe Kakashi is Kage material. From watching the anime and reading the manga he meets the requirements. Seems like to be a good ninja you have to be determine, believe in your ability and havesome sort of ninja way. Even though Kakashi has low chakra amount he surley makes it last, also he is intelligent. Plans for now and plans for later and plans for any plan failure. The copy ninja, yup I'm liking him as Kage. I believe he is better off without the responsibility due to him being a good teacher, the youth could use him more often and the Kage is always busy. I will make futher judgement after his rampage.

Being named does not mean he can get the job done. It’s not like being president. When the chips are down and there is no chose they send the kage. I love Kakashi but he just is not that strong yet. People mention how he can beat the 5th but she has the slugs that saved hundreds. Even if Pain left right after leveling the city she saved so many. She doesn’t have above s-rank attacks but above s-rank defense. All the other kages have above s-rank quality. Kakashi though he is almost there needs more time. Not to mention I'm not sure he really could beat her.
i think everyone overrates kakashi i little bit,.. true he would be one of the stongest jonin in the world without a doubt but consider his fight against kakuzu, he got freakin owned. i think if you take out tsunade kakashi would be your BEST CHOICE as hokage but dont think he is at that level.
Yes he is but only before Naruto grows up and have better experiences.I don't think he can beat other Kages because you can see inmovie when naruto come back from Three-year-training with Jiraia.He became older and couldn't keep up with Sakura nad naruto.If he can't beat his own students ,how can he beat kages with super strength,melting bloodline,powerful lightning power and unmatchable stone techniques?I think Garra will bring a tie with him.

He fought two not 1 like Asuma and held his own vs both of them. While Gaara a kage fought one. Did we see him dying to Kakuzu nope. If I was not mistake I saw him standing at the end.
He is at that level just by being smart.

He almost died from kakuzu when kakuzu just wanted him for spare parts. Then he almost killed them all when he said F this I'm just going to kill you. They made it more then clear Kakshi did not have an answer to wind/fire that kakuzu had for all of them in one swipe. infact he almost lost his life twice in that fight.

kakashi is really a kage material, he has the strength to do so. but he is not a person that should stay in an office and send ninja to fight. kakashi is part of the elite ninja who has to be on the battle field and fought the enemy.

WELL THE POINT IS DEFINETLY HE IS KAGE MATERIAL he is perhaps the most intelligent in the leaf better than shikaku smells better than kiba better taijutsu than lee better genjutsu than kurenai but definelty not stronger than any off the kage becos they were chosen for their either kenkai genkai, mei

I think he is. The only useful ability Tsunade has is that mass healing thing so hell propably beat her. Gaara may be a bit of a challenge but hell win eventually. Raikage: No way. Waaaaaaaay to fast even for Kakashi. He may beat Mizukage if he gets a way to avoid her poison gas stuffies. Tchuchikage (is that spelled right?) has blood line expansion. I have no idea what that is but it has to be strong if that made him a kage, so i dont think kakashi can beat him. If only Naruto was a liiiiiittle bit older............................
naaa kakashi is not realy 'kage material' lets see he wouldnt beat any of the current kages and this is the match ups...
mei v kakashi=
mei has 2 kg including boil release with the poison wich i doubt kakshi could avoid, some would say he would straight away use kamui but i doubt anyone would go into a fight and recklessy use there most powerful jutsu... kamui drains a **** load of stamina out of kakashi so i doubt he'd use it straight. also we havent see the whole of the mizukage but we now she was condifent enaugh to take on sasuke and her PH boil release was wearing away at sussano although it was weak at that time
onoki vs kakashi=
although he's and old fart who complains about his back i doubt that would stop him from fighting... just like any other ninja like chio or some of the sharingan user when they're eyes hurt they dount just sit there and complain. Onoki's dust release seems quite fearsome that whole particle destruction thing is the same as kamui .. in away. and again i dobt kakshi would use kamui form the begining to take him out. we also havent seen onoki at his fullest
kakashi vs gaara= Well we havent seen gaara in action in a long time since him and deidara's fight and his bijuu extraction, but over the years i would be astonished if he hadnt become extremly strong, but we now he's gotten stronger since he was elected kasekage and let not all forget the village hated him so he must of done somtehing amazing in the years. Also i dont think kakshi would get threw gaara's ddefense as easily as before his sand seem to move faster and he would of also improved on his weak point.
kakashi vs raikage = I'm not gonna go into this much but we all know kakshi would beat raikage his speed and strengh is all i need to say.
kakashi vs tsunade = The only fight kakshi could possibly win to me.
