I thinks she was, I honestly liked her as she was Nardo's female underdog counterpart on part 1. I really wanted to see her surpass Hanabi and would have liked to see a rematch between her and neji, Kishi honestly let a lot of his characters that could have been really great just fade into obscurity. She really was my favorite female but in terms of development since part 1 ended she pretty much has none.

Sakura was just crying for Naruto. Hinata went too fight pain and I admit was a stupid butr brave thing to do but it awakened the anger in Naruto which got him to meet his Dad. Basically without her he would have never met Minato for that brief moment.

I disagree, Sakura as a main character is definetly wasted, but Hinata has quite a few troll moments in the short panel time she gets.


Challenges Neji and gets solo'd.
Challenges Pain and gets solo'd.
Sees a rock and gets solo'd.

Then there are all the moments she fainted or Naruto ignored her.

I prefer the RTN Hinata, she spoke up and was sure of herself.
