You do understand that alot of the things you mentions either
1. Been happening but just wasnt covered as much
2. Just being exploited by the media to make some companies money
3. Something that really isnt a problem
(A) Cheating: Cheating is not new (see number 1), also most people dont cheat once they get into a real relationship, and im not talking about your high school sweetheart kind of love. Along with that most people are not getting married for the same reasons as they use to. Prior to the current generation women and men got married mainly for blending of family, which is increased wealth. Women no longer have to do that to get ahead so most of the time when "poorer" women and men get married or accept marriage its not because the other person has so much more that they would never be able to reach anywhere without them. People actually get married for love nowadays, no so much for the prior generations (thing grandma and grandpa). Cheating is also something that can also be avoided, knowing your partner and there needs, identifying there mood, and such can get you laid more often, make your partner more willing, and allow you to understand why they do not want to have ***, and if you have the urge to cheat that is not directly because of your partners sexual habits, then its something that you just have to sit and discuss with your partners, and you will be okay.
(B) Divorce: Divorce is really bad for men, i wont lie, but most of the time its something that can be avoided with talking and coming to logical conclusions. It also means that you have to be financially smart with your money before and after you get married, a pre-nup is not a sin, i will ask for on, and if my wife has anything worth protecting she should have one too, i would just put a cheating clause in it "If said parties are proved to be cheating, then this agreement is null and void". But divorce should be THE VERY LAST OPTION, it shouldn't be the first or second or 99th option, along with that the divorce rates you see are not from people married within the last decade, these rates are the fallout of the prior generations (Thing grandma and grandpa, see portions of (A)) that didn't get married for love, but for land, and money, and fame, when this day and age comes, you no longer need to stay in a relationship with your partner to be secure, so people that never really liked each other that much from the beginning get a divorce. Also, i will put in here though that i am a strong believer in the phrase "Love is just not enough". When you get older you will understand, i'm only 22, but rust me it just is not enough to keep a relationship working, it takes more, much more.
(C) Child Support: Well this one is hard to argue, but if you dont get divorced then your okay. Also i did say previously to be financially smart with your money, and there are ways to get out of child support, and if your a millionaire trust me while $100,000 sounds like alot, you still have probably 1.5 to 1.7m to actually do right with....
(D) Restricted Freedom: Who says your freedom is restricted because of marriage. I have to go to work at 8:30 AM, i cannot go out and drink , cannot party all night, not because my partner (which i do not have) will stop me, but because i have a responsibility to fulfill. Same goes if you have children. Along with that when you get married you know that there are things you will have to get up, and maybe you wont be able to go out til 4am and maybe you cant book spur of the moment trips to Germany or England, but these are thing you should have thought about before getting married.
My point is that marriage is still worth it, and once you understand that the things you are worried about are not real problems are are not problems of the current generation then you will feel better, because i will tell you, when you get married and you here that there wil be 2 incomes of 40k in your household and your living cost only raise by 10-20% you will be so happy. That means you save About 40% by getting married, if you pool the money and just pay bills, and don't plan on drastically increasing your living expenses...marriages saves much more then it costs...
