You all know damn well.....Edo Tensei is not like a regular summoning jutsu, which requires a contract. Far from it.

It is essentially grave robbing! And anyone...even Pakkun, can dig up a persons grave for a bone.


This jutsu's first and foremost requirement is for the subjected 'Ninja to be Dead'! Not to mention.....a living sacrifice!


It should not be considered a part of someone's power! The complete opposite infact!


Do you think Sandaime didnt have any knowledge about this jutsu? If you do then, LOL! He obviously did! But he chose never to use it, and relied on his own power!


If this jutsu was considered normal and useable.....dont you think that every new Hokage would have had the previous Hokage as an Edo for a back up? No! There is a reason this jutsu was forbidden!

Well you need the DNA of the person u are trying to revive, just like you need the summoning animals dna to summon them. Only difference you dont need a livng sacrifice. So whether you accept it or not, edo tensei counts because as all jutsu, it requires chakra. Face it.

It requires to much prep to be used in an actual vs thread. If kabuto ran into a ninja whithout gathering dna a the ninja, then providing a vessel for their soul to reside in, the technique is useless. Well my thoughts on edo tensei is the same as my thoughts for summoning. I won't say because i'll probably get flammed.

He could face every opponent with Edo Madara (like he used Edo Tensei against the 3rd Hokage)

Madara WAS part of Kabuto's arsenal, UNTIL Madara broke his contract. Like said himself. Re-read that chapter. Tobirama classified it as forbidden so why would he teach Hiruzen that jutsu? There is no evidence to show that he knows it, show me a page in the manga where he says he can. And if Hiruzen did kno. he didnt use it because he didnt like controlling thedcead like that. ur argument is weak. Its a different form of summoning jutsu, and every jutsu leanred becomes part of that persons power. Edo tensei grant the user the ability to use anothers powers. Simplae as that. But since your the one creating the summoning, it leads back to you, because u can use the person however you want.

Exactly! Orochimaru didnt need to use those Edo's to kill Sandaime! Hiruzen said it himself.....he was too old and Orochimaru had already surpassed him!

Oro did that too torment and humiliate Sandaime before killing him!
