Edit: If Tobi is not Izuna why didn't Kabuto revive him a ? He was equal to his brother. Edo Madara with hashirama DNA takes 5 kages alone, imagine what will do 2 like him.. there is no way that Kabuto didn't revive him if he was dead.

Edit2:Yes he could died but it's just that "died", that doesn't mean he is dead.. Kakashi died but he has been revived with rinne tensei.. Madara could revive him (Izuna) when he awoked his rinnegan.
