Internet Piracy (Y/N) ???

I will start buying original games when I get my PS3 and when I get employ in the goverment xD (still waiting for reply,dang it!)

p.s:In my country,its pretty much rare to get original stuff...seriously.Unless you order it from outside.

I think i only have one original game (Sims 3) and that was a present.
It all comes down to the perspective of things; I understand why downloading is considered stealing, but on the other hand i consider it stealing of my pocket to pay 60$ for a game and 20$ for a movie. Isn't it?
I mean, we have a worldwide economic crisis going on now, people have all limited their going-outs and buying-things. All that is left, is entertainment at home; but if i am to pay 60$ for a game, I prefer giving the same money to go out with my friends. So...downloading is the easy and cheap way and we all know how popular "cheap and easy" things are anyways

for the cost of burning to all the discs u could probably get away with selling at around ?10-20 (roughly $15-30 but ive not checked exchange rate recently) after a few hundred thousand sell they will have paid all their fees for work and costs for shipping the games and producing... with most likely tons of cash left over >_>

Piracy is just another way of information gathering and getting what you want at the time you want with just another program. From pages of books and comics to console gaming and it's just an information highway to be passed around.

HELL, If I could I would download a car! lol Anyways downloading is just something out of control anyways. They tried stopping people from getting psp games through the internet with a force update on games at a certain point in time and then DarkAlex, a microsoft programmer that makes people custom firmwares, hacked through that. Not to mention the psp go was on the market for 1 week and then was already hacked by DarkAlex. ^^ you can always put obstacles in people's ways. but they'll get over it some point or another.

I mainly download music, but I do support internet piracy(though I mean piracy is the wrong word)
Reason why piracy is wrong word:
- You do not steal if you continue seeding after DLing the torrent(until you got a 1.0 share ratio)
- You steal if you do not continue to seed(you remove the chance to other people to DL at the same speed)
160NOK(ca. 25 USD) for one CD, that you might not even like..... so torrents to check out the albums, and if I like the album I might buy it
Games are even worse.... costs much more, and more and more of the games that get published ain't worth buying...

those rich artist dont need more money than they have! And they got fans that buy enough cds... same with games and so on.. Its all overrated, and overpriced...

I download all of my games.xd I only buy legit copies of my fav games that I would like to support. The only series that got money from me was the splinter cell series.XD
But if I wanted to buy my games then i would have to import bec the stores here dont really sell games and if they do they get it late =/ So i download.
