Oh, another combo which seemed similar to the previous technique. Taking his notebook back, Ryuu watched as another clone was now there to attack. He quickly took a scroll off his back again, and drew in it two lions and a hawk. As they emerged from the paper, they all became much larger in size. Rushing over to the clone, the lions went on to attack it. At the same time, Ryuu had jumped onto the clone's back and was in the air. As they neared their target, the hawk swooped down steeply, getting very close to the clone. Since he did not have a sword, Ryuu took out a kunai and slashed the clone with it. After doing that, the hawk flew back up as steeply as it had come down, and started flying around the area slowly in circles.

Still sitting atop the hawk, Ryuu looked down thoughtfully at the book in his lap before writing.

Another nice combo, where both the lions and hawks are involved. The advantages to these combo techniques are that you can actually get a combo without having to use more than one jutsu. This allows for more attacks. This technique would also be good to use if the opponent performs an attack from the ground, as it would allow for escaping and attacking all in the same technique. One question, does the hawk stay around to help the user perform attacks from the air, or does it disappear soon after the attack?

The downside to this technique is that with a strong enough technique, the opponent can repel the lions, as well as attack the hawk in the air which will leave the user without a footing. But of course, one could just defend against it like any other technique. Also, due to its specificity, it loses some versatility, but it's a great technique nonetheless.

Looking up from his book, with his hair gently fluttering in the wind, Ryuu commanded the hawk to land in front of Judal, where he gave the notebook again.

Great performance, he would become well versed in Ink if given time. I couldn't help but wonder if I should face him soon, just to see how much he's grown.

"Great, and the Hawk stays around. Nonetheless, good job kid."

Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will unravel a painting scroll with a picture of a dragon that they then summon to carry the enemy into the air before then redirecting them into the ground.

"Once more, grab your scrolls and ink brushes, and draw a dragon. This emerges from the painting and blasts towards the opponent, carrying them into the air right before slamming them into the ground. Pretty simple to use, as well as utilize in general. You know what to do."

A clone rushes towards the kid.

Ooh, so the hawk would stay around. Quite a convenient technique. Taking his book and walking to his ink and scrolls, Ryuu made the hawk disappear before noticing one of Judal's clones approaching. Following his teacher's instructions for the next technique, the Hyūga knelt down and drew a dragon. As it emerged from the paper, it enlarged and rammed into the clone, sending it into the air. It then put it's head above the clone and slammed it into the ground with it's chin. As the clone disappeared, Ryuu looked down at his book before writing.

This technique is a short ranged technique, so it is best to use it when the opponent is coming too close and I want them to be further away. It seems like a pretty straightforward technique.

A disadvantage would be that it can only be used in short range, but then there are always other excellent techniques to use in other ranges anyway.

So can I have this technique predrawn in a scroll and just summon it? Or can it also be done like I just did, by drawing it?

Ryuu walked over to Judal to allow him to read the contents of the book.

"Has to be drawn then, it seems. Since no pre-drawn is mentioned, so better to use it like that. Anyway, onward."

Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user uses special ink to draw up to 10 bullet-like projectiles onto a scroll.
Note: Can only be used by Ink users.
Note: Courtesy of Mathias

"Another one by Mathias, where you will use a special ink to draw 10 bullet like projectiles onto a scroll. These are then shot towards the opponent. Quite simple, and easy to use."

I state, as I create a clone that runs towards the kid.

As Judal makes another clone that runs towards him, Ryuu took a scroll out of his pouch and drew 10 bullets on it. As they emerged from the paper, these ink bullets traveled as projectiles till they met the clone, injuring it so that it disappeared. He then started writing in his notebook again.

This one seems to be able to reach a longer range than the last one. They are a projectile type of attack, so as soon as the bullets are released, another attack can be started, which is advantageous. However, since their trajectory is not controlled, it makes it easier for the opponent to dodge it. I'm assuming that the more bullets I make, the weaker each one is? So if I make it only one bullet, that one will be A-Rank?

Still standing besides Judal from the previous technique, Ryuu held his book up for the man to read.

"You are correct in that regard. Now, for the last technique."

Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: The user uses Ninja Art: Super Beast Imitation Picture to create a dozen of lions that rain down on the target before being followed up with a dragon that slams down into the opponent.

"With this technique, you will create several lions made of Ink which rain down upon the opponent. This is followed by a dragon which slams into the opponent. Quite simple for a high ranked technique."

I said, as a last clone is created to take on the kid.

Last technique? Ryuu felt a little sad about that, as he was thoroughly enjoying himself in this training session. However, he drew comfort from the fact that he would be able to master the ability that had piqued his interest.

As Judal created the last clone that would be used, the boy took out a scroll once more, and drew upon it dozens of lions, as well as a dragon. As the lions left the paper, they rained down from above onto the poor clone. But he was not finished yet. The dragon then too emerged out and slammed down into the clone, causing it to poof away. Having served their purpose, Ryuu made his own creations disappear too, before writing his thoughts down into the notebook.

This is the strongest technique out of all of them so far. However, I'm just a little confused with the dragon part. Does it come downwards onto the opponent like the lions, or can it ram into the opponent from the front? Because if it can go from the front, then it would be an advantage as both above and in front of the opponent would be covered, making it harder for them to defend. Also, when the lions come raining down on to the opponent, does the opponent see them going into the sky before they come down?

I guess a disadvantage of this is that the more lions you create, the weaker they get. But it allows for a wider spread though.

As Ryuu finished writing, he once again held up his notebook for Judal to read.

Reading the scroll, I simply smirked. He was a good student, what a shame.

"Good, and both ways, since it offers that freedom, you see. Nonetheless, other than that, it seems we are done here. Enjoy Ink, and do use it to kill some Muggles would you? See you, kid."

In a quick crackle and swoosh, I would apparate, leaving the kid behind. Now a master of Ink.

As Judal read his ideas, Ryuu drew one more thing, producing a little book made of ink. Holding it in his hands, he nodded as Judal told him to kill some Muggles, and smiled slightly at that. Just before his teacher disappeared, the young Hyūga thrust the book he created into Judal's arms. It was just a small token of appreciation for teaching him. His teacher then disappeared, prompting Ryuu to go and pick up his belongings, before leaving to return home. He felt a bit lonely, but perhaps they would meet again...

Thanks L ! ^_^
