C:Naruto finds out that he's the younger brother ashuras reincarnation,sasuke.........

Doesn't take a genius to find out what happens next. The second that indra was described as a genius with good battle sense(and also kind of a loner who was focused on power), it's obvious that sasuke is the indra of this generation. Kishi isn't going to change the pattern of this manga after 670 chapters because a bunch of idiots don't want it to be so......

The bold part was applicable till Madara's natural death. That was the time when Indra's chakra left Madara's body and possessed a new body. And since Sasuke is the diehard rival of Naruto who is possessed by Ashura, then Sasuke is the appropriate answer to be possessed by Indra. Sasuke's genius level compared to Madara doesn't count because Ashura's chakra has shifted already into Naruto from his previous body.

That isss the point. Indra's chakra cannot possess Obito because if we believe Madara was possessed by Indra then Obito was born when Madara was alive. And hence Indra cannot possess Obito at that time. Also Indra cannot possess an already born child. If Itachi was still alive, then there would have been a debate about whether Indra possess Itachi or Sasuke since both are intelligent in their respective ways. Madara's way of walking the path towards peace is not realistic than what Sasuke wants. We still don't know how Sasuke wants to achieve peace but he its clear that he's not planning to create peace into an illusion world instead a real world. I'm sure that's how Indra must have felt in his time. And since Madara failed in doing that, it can be said that Madara didn't actually was possessed by Indra in a sense.
