Just as I said at the beginning of this thread we can't say for sure
Okay now, but arguing for Kabuto,
Sage mode increases all jutsu as we know, he becomes faster stronger, better at genjutsu, and ninjutsu, Kabuto has new sage jutsu which are always powerful attacks
Snake eyelids can block any genjutsu,
Can try to avoid amaterasu using cave altering chakra techniques, plus if hit I don't see why he couldn't shed... old skin burns, new kabuto is unscathed...
I understand that Sasuke was holding back, I am not denying that, but for the most part Kabuto was going for itachi... plus itachi was pretty much the only one that landed good blows on kabuto

Sasuke can make Amaterasu spread throughout the whole cave, but you know Kabuto can use that to his advantage by using Muki Tensei, he can manipulate parts of the terrain and make it attack Sasuke, or he can just open a safe path by using Doroku Gaeshi.
Also he can body shed if by any chance Amaterasu hits him, so I think you should give that one to Kabuto, he has counters for every attack Sasuke has at the moment.
Anyway, I'd like to know your opinion about this fight honestly, Who do you think would win between the two?
Amaterasu's heat caused muki tensei to be ineffective, if kabuto was to use it after sasuke had used amaterasu, it wouldnt prove effective at all. "The heat also made the cave go back to its original shape";

Possibly meaning if amaterasu was used before this technique, it will either restrict completely the technique or wouldnt be as effective against the heat that amaterasu produces
Doroku gaeshi sasuke could potentially restrict this technique. Arguable the best raiton user and we all know raiton > doton. Gaeshi is a c rank doton technique, though kabtuo's has been given a boost due to sm. However still sasuke holds the advantage against this technique and if he runs his lighting based attack through the earth, it could possible harm the ability for this technique to surface. He has already shown the ability to use his raiton through the earth, either by channeling his raiton through his sword and peircing the earth with it or using chidori nagashi on the earth;

I know when sasuke used this strategy against itachi it was in a genjutsu duel however it can be achieved and if he does, its very possible that because raiton > doton, it could nullify geashi
To answer your question, kabuto would win this match up majority of the times

Sasuke had he power to destroy him. I can't remember exactly what Itachi said, but he told Sasuke to not attack Kabuto full force and that he should not destroy him until Kabuto's Edo Tensai is nulled.
That right there tells me that Sasuke could've beaten Kabuto.

Itachi was the only one who knew what everyone was dealing with. He also tells Sasuke to watch it and not kill Kabuto. Never did Itachi tell Sasuke he's in trouble. He could've handled Kabuto by himself, at a high cost though.

Kabuto was prepared to fight the Uchiha's. Sasuke would have been stomped. He tried to fight both Sasuke and Itachi, Kabuto is not dumb enough to engage them if he knows he will lose. He honestly felt like he could fight them both so Sasuke alone would be fodder.
