Damn you people are stupid. Itachi and Sasuke was fighting to capture , not kill. If it were a fight to the death, Kabuto would have been killed easily.

Kabuto was also fighting to capture, not to kill. The whole point of him siding with Tobi was to have Sasuke for himself, and he always tried to re-write Itachi's conscious so he can have him under his control again.

The only reason they won is because Itachi just happens to have the one genjutsu that doesn't require any of the 5 senses, while every other genjutsu they had required direct eye contact, which Kabuto countered against

you guys are horrible at deducting your own conclusions. If sasuke could have taken down kabuto then the manga would have skipped the whole 6 chapters it dedicated to the kabuto/itachi fight. Obviousely in the manga if it was an easy task it would have been done.....EASILY
