They basically did the same thing in the series, searched for a lost friend. The only difference is sakura got to marry him. How does that make her have no self respect? Because sasuke chose to hide his feelings from her and made his feelings for naruto apparent.
The whole manga is about forgiveness and seeing the good in people, and that is basically what sakura and Sasukes relationship is about.

She should have just cared about his wellbeing as a fellow teammate and not a love interest after all he has done to her. Then he gives her a half assed apology in the end, knocks her up than runs out on her and his daughter to what? See the world?

I hope so, because right now he just seems like a dead beat father to me and Sakura and Salada deserve better than that.
