Naruto won their first day as Team 7 and tied Sasuke up.
Naruto won on the hospital roof.
Naruto let Sasuke win at VoTE (didn't make clones, didn't summon Bunta, he intentionally scratched Sasuke's headband instead of shoving the Rasengan in his chest)
Sasuke won at Orochimaru's hideout.
They tied at Five Kage Summit.
Naruto has been stronger since Sage Mode and especially since Bijuu Mode and overkill at Bijuu Sage Mode.
Sasuke's got a lot of catching up to do. Add in Naruto defeating Gaara when Sasuke got manhandled and again with Haku. My boy has a firm lead.

No they wouldn't of, did you see the amount of damage that rasengan did on the rooftop compared to that chidori?
Not only was Naruto on the ground, giving him leverage and momentum, Sasuke did not expect him to use a new justu. He underestimated Naruto and would of died because of it.

Ok, it seems that people are throwing in points that are not even true. Let me show you how many times that Naruto had to be saved , and also the fallacy with the rooftop Rasengan.
You people say that Naruto's Rasengan would have ended Sasuke, but that is just stupid as during their final valley fight, they have shown to cancel out each others jutsu's just fine.

I can't see Sasuke beating current naruto or the future naruto unless Sasuke gets some extremely overpowered power-ups, like some time-altering jutsu.
OT: I would be unhappy, because I figure the "loser" would finally come out on top at the end, but who knows Kishi might have Sasuke win again.

I see Naruto either barely winning, tie, or no fight at all. But, if Sasuke wins, it'll be like Naruto holding back at the last minute and dies. To save a friend.
Chakra control. The fact that Gamabunta wouldn't even care about that fight. Even if he did, Gamabunta wouldn't have had much places to move since the fight was basically just on Madara and Hashirama's head, or around it. Also, the fight was equal. But yes, plot needed Sasuke to win. So would you rather Sasuke win as an equal, or as a genin who defeated Gamabunta due to plot?

To everyone saying that Naruto could have tied the battle, you're mistaken.. I believe.
This is because Sasuke's arm reach was longer at the time as Naruto could barely reach Sasuke's headband, the most forward part of Sasuke, while Sasuke could actually reach Naruto's chest. Both arms were stretched out to their max.
And as you can see, it was Naruto flinching that caused him to scratch Sasuke's headband. He didn't purposely scratch his headband, it was just symbolism.
And Sasuke has been above Naruto throughout the whole series, with the exception of few short moments.
Those being when he beat Gaara - though that's questionable given that Sasuke didn't really improve after that and was still beating Naruto - and when he gained SM and Sasuke was accustoming to MS. People don't realize that it was a team effort. Sasuke beat Gaara until that point and Naruto finished him.
OT: I honestly don't see Sauce winning. Naruto needs to convince Sasuke in order to actually end the curse of hatred, or whatever BS that is, and he can't do that unless he beats him. Sauce isn't easily manipulated like everyone says, if he was he would have been another Nagato and Obito.

He did not understand the concept and the effects of it, he knew it was powerful so he used his strongest move as well.
First off, Rasengan grinds into whatever it comes into contact with, eventually exploding, and sending it flying at a considerable speed and distance.

Most of the stuff you showed is irrelevant as I already proved that they canceled each other out in the valley. This is indisputable. Unless you can show me a scan of Rasengan being stronger or overpowering Chidori then sit down, as they have shown to be equal on many occasions when it comes to clashes. You are just speculating because his Rasengan has shown a larger hole. Foolish.

This is nothing but speculation. We've seen what would of happened if they clashed and it would be no different this time.
I agree that they would have both gone flying, but it would have been both of them, not just Sasuke. By the way, Naruto would have been blown farther because Sasuke would have fallen on the rooftop.
Sasuke was jealous because Naruto's rasengan created more destruction and because he felt that Naruto was improving at a much faster rate than him, which doesn't really matter considering we already saw what would have happened.
Naruto did not win that fight; none of them would have won. They would have just ended up killing Sakura.

It wasn't praise they were giving, they were both giving their input on what happened.
Kakashi saying he felt Naruto was too young to learn such a technique and how "in the worst case scenario, would of killed Sasuke..."
The J-Man giving his input on how Sasuke was also too young to learn a technique and how he did not expect it to be used on a comrade.
How you took any of that as praise is beyond me...

Dude, you're going against the manga itself. You have no proof whatsoever that would change the outcome.
Neither Kakashi nor Jiraiya have any idea what would have happened if the jutsus clashed.
You even skip "worst case scenario" meaning that Kakashi could have been talking about Rasengan actually hitting Sasuke for all we know.

1. If it's unintentional praise, you should obviously know what they intended to convey. The dangers of those two justus and the fact they tried to use it on each it other.
2.I'm not going against the manga itself, i'm going off of Kakashi's word. Someone who definitely knows chidori more than anyone.
3. I did not skip "Worst case scenario" as I clearly quoted it in bold font and underlined it. "For all we know?" He was specific. He was talking about the end result of the worst case scenario, resulting in Sasuke's death. Not Naruto's, or each other.

It's canon that they would cancel out, nothing anyone says would change that.
That's the thing, you don't know what Kakashi considered the worst case scenario.
Either way, it doesn't matter since they would have just killed Sakura in the process instead of clashing meaning none of them would have won.

My god. Reading some of the wildly off-point interpretations of the final clash at VOTE is incredibly disheartening. Since it's such a pivotal and tremendously written moment in the series. They both had the opportunity to kill one another and they both decided against it. If either one hadn't, they both would have died. Sasuke closed his fist to keep from penetrating Naruto's heart and Naruto clawed at Sasuke's headband. If Sasuke did penetrate Naruto's heart, Naruto would have lunged forward and taken Sasuke's head off. It's clear as day how Kishimoto will end the fight. If either one wins, they both die.
