See I'm not so sure on that either. Remember what Madara said, both the Sage's and Hashirama's method has failed. They thought that love was the way but even so, Hashirama could not provide peace even after getting rid of what seemed to be his greatest threat. If this was before Sasuke talked to Hashirama then I would agree with you but Sasuke's character has changed since then. He's no longer a person filled with hate so it wouldn't symbolize hate > love if he won.

While the parallel b/t Indra and Sasuke does it exist, IMO, it only applies to the aspect of how Naruto used to be a dunce while Sasuke was a genius. Sasuke used to believe that he could do everything on his own with his own power but we see him completely cooperating with Naruto and Jugo to solve the problem at hand. Even in Sasuke's dying words, he feels that he must live in order to show the world what a real Kage is, so that he can rectify the mistakes of the past Hokages and not let his brother's sacrifice be in vain. He wishes to become Hokage so that he can change the village for the better.

Sasuke no longer represents just hate, he's grown to be more than that so the theme of love > hate doesn't really fit anymore and love has been shown to fail to unite the world as well. Naruto and Sasuke will join forces to stop the cycle of hatred, it won't be one over the other to stop it. Not to mention that Ashura and Indra seemed to end in a draw so the parallel doesn't fit here for their battle anyway.

kami has such away with words ^^ amazing

@ bold- He wants to kill all the bijuu, destroy the system and forceably become hokage, i think hes still thinking Power > love.

it's been forshadowed that naruto is the one who will TNJ (Nishuu) sasuke back on the right track. Minato bluntly slapped it on a tray for us when he stated that Kakashi should of been the one to truly understand obito being his friend, Naruto then bluntly and obviously looks at sasuke as he too realized that hes the only one who can understand sasuke and turn him into the good side.

I would agree with you if sasuke did in fact use Love > power but recent actions prove other wise.

Sasuke never claimed he would do it by force. He simply didn't care what the others thought, which is how he's been since part 1. He wanted to become Hokage in order to rectify these problems, he never said he was gonna force his way into office. And he intended on killing the Bijuus before Naruto made a remark about saving them and he hasn't done anything to harm the Bijuus since their extraction despite knowing that man made a huge struggle over them in the past. He was going to destroy the Bijuus in order to put an end to the power struggle, what caused wars in the past, which isn't bad ideology at all.

Also with Minato, he doesn't know what goes on in Sasuke's head. He's not aware of why Sasuke wants to be Hokage the way he does. Even with Naruto being the one to convert Sasuke, he's still already in the process of being "converted" and that's because he doesn't want Itachi's sacrifice to be in vain. Like I said, Sasuke's "final" moments were him fighting to live in order to bring the village to a better place and prevent these wars. He's already on the path to righteousness, Naruto beating him won't make that happen. If that was the case, then Hashirama would have succeeded bringing peace ages ago. Madara said it best, two opposing forces are what's going to bring true happiness. Sasuke and Naruto represent opposing forces who will eventually come together to bring peace/happiness. One person beating the other will not bring peace, thus, Naruto simply beating Sasuke will not simply bring peace or happiness. Which is why I say that a winner is not something that can be predicted right now.

Naruto can't win without backup and Bijuu.

Last chapter the Sage confirmed this by saying he was a master of borrowing power ups from other people.

So if he goes there all by himself, he'll get body bag'd.

@Bold 1 - He basically said " I'm going to be hokage, i don't care about what you think" He bluntly said that if you get in his way, he'll kill you.

@bold 2 - It was not meant to take literally, it was a foreshadow.

Like i said, If Sasuke believes Love > hate, they wouldn't fight but we know that's not going to happen.

Let's agree to disagree, i don't see this going anywhere.

Naruto beat sasuke early in the series
dem part 1 feats doe.

OT: Even if Naruto wins in the final battle. Sasuke;s battle record will still be 3-1 which means that Sasuke is going to the playoffs while Naruto goes home.

Who cares?

Naruto will win the last match ;) that's what matters, quality -> quantity.

Them VOTE Hashirama vs Madara power level.

Let's agree to disagree, i don't see this going anywhere.

1. That's subjective to interpretation cause I wasn't getting that at all.

2. Foreshadowing can be very misleading sometimes. Don't think I need to tell you how many people thought Naruto was the Sage's reincarnation rather than Ashura.

I have more to say but we'll just agree to disagree then. Which is great cause I didn't feel like making anymore long posts to prove my reasoning Lol

It would be completely stupid. That's like saying "evil ultimately wins." Also, it's also ridiculous to use their fights as kids as an example. Fun fact, Naruto beat Sasuke in part 1 and tied him up. Also, Naruto could have easily tied the VOTE match. So, in other words, the only significant fight that actually had Sasuke a clear-cut winner was at the beginning of shippuden.

Alright, I guess tying up Sasuke does cancel out the academy scrimmage. However, we can't say that Naruto would have or should have won at VOTE as he chose not to hit Sasuke's critical points and he lost. Naruto made his choice while Sasuke did not hesitate. I am a huge Naruto fan but Sasuke won fair and square at the VOTE.

I wouldn't be all that surprised, since Kishi loves wanking Sasuke...

I didn't say Naruto would win. I'm just saying he could have done as much damage to Sasuke as Sasuke did to him if he chose to. In other words, while it's technically is a win, it's sort of a pointless win to label since Naruto had the power to tie it but choose not to.

Also, if we go by the number of arcs Naruto was portrayed to be stronger, he wins in that category.

It would be meaningless, because Kish should made Sasuke the main character and not Naruto.

So, in other words, you are feeling sour and butthurt? Ok.
You keep making excuses but Sasuke was the last one standing. Deal with it, boy.

The rooftop fight would of been Naruto's win. He would of killed Sasuke.

why are pple making excuses on why naruto lost those duels? excuses doesnt change the fact that at the end of the day he lost. they went toe to toe at VOTE and sasuke was the last man standing, he got whooped at early part 2 so it would be nice to see him get 1 over sasuke for a change.
