I start off by using Earth Release: World Shaking to throw my opponent off balance, restricting their freedom of movement due to the created tremor and then I'd use Ice Release: 1000 Needles of Death to attack them from all sides, keeping them on the defensive :> I'd probably finish my move with the creation of clones or something
Personally I'd either use hurricane fist to get off the shaking earth or just let the shaking shake me and then use earth spear technique to fend off the needles.

I start of by using Water Release: Water Pillar Thrust to shoot my opponent into the air, once again making it difficult for them to move about and as the opponent approaches the ground I use Ice Release: Ice Prison Technique to trap them while their in mid air. I'd finish up with an appropriate lightning technique to pierce through the ice striking the trapped opponent
z-z might not be so hard to counter, just use wind stream to avoid the pillar if you are able to notice it rising up from below.
