I Understand the Izanami

I think these images show the separation with what Kabuto is seeing and reality. Itachi's eye has lost it's sight in reality while he can still has both eyes in Kabuto's mind/genjutsu

thus it can be concluded that itachi is not inside the loop....kabuto is fighting an illusion of itachi.........

Interesting, but it shows Itachi's left eye being faded and his same left eye being faded again. So his eye must of regenerated, due to him being a edo.

Izanami it's just like episode 231 The closed route, with infinity loop. So basically when Sasuke fight Naruto and use it on him Naruto would knw how to get out of it because of the help of Shikamaru. I've already see the loop. Please have more to it because a lot of manga I read did something similar. I hope Izanami is Unique. Then again it's hard to create something new or something that you never seen

No dude, itachi's eye is not healed... the picture above displays itachi inside izanami whereas the last one is the real one having only one eye.....

It shows Itachi having both Mangekyō Sharingan, then later fading again. Compared to page 4 where the same thing happened.

Why is kabuto talking then?...
From the last panel, it should be inferred that Kabuto was like that the whole time, stuck in a illusion.

Four points;

1: Good thread and most plausible.

2: Itachi should use his other eye(depending on the effect taking a tool on him as he's already dead. Can't imagine a one eyed edo being too realistic when this "state" heals all injuries) on Sasuke to change his fate as well once he's done with Kabuto That would be such a troll from Kishi for everyone expecting Naruto and Sasuke to fight again xd

3: Even if Kabuto undoes the Edo tensei now, Itachi shouldn't be affected by it as Kabuto doesn't have any control over him. If so, he would have just un-summoned and re-summoned Itachi long time ago to regain his control over him. It's not like he can't un-summon one and one Edo at a time. He doesn't have to un-summon all or none.
So if this works out, Itachi and Sasuke should have plenty of time to talk until Itachi decides to rest in peace like Sasori and the rest.

4: I have a feeling that undoing the Edo Tensei is not going to un-summon Madara due to the reason that Madara is too strong for Kabuto to un-summon. We've seen it all too many times in different movies where the bad guys agrees to stop something (a Machine, bomb, underling terrorist, etc), but they lose control and are unable to. That's most likely going to happen with Madara as well as he will be too strong for Kabuto to "cancel" out. That's my opinion at least (unless the 5 kages defeats him before Itachi makes Kabuto undo it, but that wouldn't really be much of a point as it seems like it's only Itachi and Madara left of the Edo Tenseis out on the battlefield o__O).

Its ok to be cocky your right he's in an infinite loop that will continue to pass so long ass kabuto keeps trying to escape. once he realizes hes stuck and he accepts it then itachi might let him go but idk about releasing Edo tensie since kabuto said its something you cant undo

So say he does release edo tensai and Itachi disappears then sasuke must try and kill him before he can use the edo tensai again. Plus not sure if sasuke alone is enough to kill kabuto but guess we will see.

Oh yeh I see it. The thing I don't understand though, if Kabuto decides not to end Edo Tensei wouldn't they both be trapped inside izanami forever or until Itachi ends it?

Itachi is not trapped with kabuto in the izanami... Read the last page again

Look at page 3 the starting loop happen when Sasuke use Katon. Basically Kabuto is fighting his mind! But the thing with Izanami it turn illusion into reality.

Thanks for that honestly Izanami is such a brilliant technique, I can't figure out a weakness to this.

The only thing that bugs me is why couldn't Itachi use this on Tobi.

May be because tobi can use izanagi and get back to reality. Saying that itachi never really knew that tobi can use izanagi else he would not have planted a ameretsu in sasukes eyes to counter tobi or was it just a mistake by kishi:sy:
