I thought Hashirama was considered the strongest

What makes me laugh is the people who say Madara held back against Hashirama because he wanted to gain his power (LOL). Gaining his power doesn't mean he shouldn't kill him, in fact Madara among all people would be the one who wants to kill Hashirama the most, since he was the leader of the Senju clan and his rival, he would kill him so his clan, the Uchiha clan, would be hailed as the strongest clan who defeated the Senju clan.

So really I find no reason for Madara to hold back against his ultimate rival, and it seems the fans of Madara out there are trying to twist the facts. Well, I'll say it in the open, Madara was going all out against Hashirama, his ultimate rival, but in the end, he lost.

So while I'm at it, let me remind the Madara fans that... Hashirama > Madara is official, this is the fact.

Agreed hashi beat Madara in an all out war no holding back no one knows the details but we know the outcome hashi is better

I would take him seriously but he is probably not going to use the perfect susanoo again because he is so strong and the kages can't beat him which in turn has made him very cocky

Why would he say that if Hashirama fought against Perfect Susanoo and survived? Clearly this suggests Hashirama didn't fight against Madara's perfect Susanoo. Or, it suggests that Hashirama died at VOTE, which seems unlikely. Therefore, we must assume the former. Hashirama may not have been as strong as some people think.

I'm giving mad props to Madara for beating the crap out of Hashirama without Perfect Susano. It is also stated that Hashirama gained controll over the 9 tails during the battle.

he probabay did use it against hashirama, and hashirama defeated it. No matter how you look at it, Madara ended up being the loser.

Controlling a Bijuu will also affect Madara's dojutsu powers. It's unreasonable to say that he concentrated on using Kyuubi whilst using Susanoo. It's either or and we know he used Kyuubi so..

It is said that anyone who has seen it die!" This statement doesnt mean anyone who has seen it actually die. It is a hype:flaw:
From the context, it cant be defeated is what madara is saying. Maybe hashi failed to defeat(if he fought it) but killed or neutralised madara and it disappeared like it did just now. Madara didnt even die yet, just when his chakra faded, the susano was gone.
If madara summon PS, hashi can use gen to stop madara which unsummon PS(he can't technically) OR he can kill madara or weaken him and PS is gone.
READ THE MANGA AND ABSORB THE CONTEXT INSTEAD OF JUST SAYING SHIT LIKE "EDO CANT BE STOPPED" DESPITE IT BEING SAID IN A PARTICULAR CONTEXT

What load of bollocks. Think about it carefully. Madara was the one who brought the fox into the fight. Do you know what that means? It means whatever Madara had in his arsenal(P.S) included wasnt enough to defeat Hashirama. Madara knew this which is why he tried to gain an advantage by bringing the fox.
