One Piece rules but its natural to lose interest mainly the flashback are going on plus chapters are not as informative as you get in One piece...

Flashback turned ugly for me when I was reading Kabuto's they were hell long ones and I hated Naruto that time the most.
plus Uchiha's borthers v/s Kabuto was too much stuff; totally not so cool to read and I found it boring and irrelevant at some point .........

I dont know why you try to change peoples' opinions. If someone likes Naruto more than OnePiece then you shouldnt bash them for their opinion.
That's not what I was doing. The people quoted were all people who were bashing on One Piece who have barley read/watched anything. I could care less if you like Naruto more then One Piece. I've even talked with people who like Naruto more and have given valid points as to why they think it is better. That's not the problem. When someone bashes another anime, and 90% of the time it is people who only read Naruto bashing One Piece, then I say something. No one ever bashes Bleach and have never read it. No one bashes Death Note and never read it. No one bashes Fairy Tail and never read it. No one ever bashes Code Geass and never read it. See a pattern here. Almost every time it is people that bash One Piece and never have read it.

These people I quoted barley(if that) gave One Piece a chance and then call it shit. Only when you have read both mangas then your opinion can be valid. I have never met anyone that has read both and called one shit. EVERYONE says they are good. One may be a bit better then the other, but they aren't shit. If people actually took the time to read it, they would know this. Of course there are some that think Naruto is better, but even that is in the minority. Every aspect of judging if a manga/anime is good points to One Piece being better too. Calling it shit, like some of the people I quote, is just ignorance. That is why I corrected them and showed them where they were wrong.

2. Are here people with similar experiences?
I have.

I really loved Naruto back in 2003 when they were showing the Chuunin exams in a marathon. Then I migrated to the manga, where I caught up to the timeskip in 2006.

Then One Piece came along and I didn't care for Naruto since.

There are 585+ episodes of One Piece. You saw the first 3 episodes. Congrats, you have watched .5% of the total story. That's like reading the title of a book, reading the first line then saying, nope this book seems "like a real goof ass" book to me. The story is at it's half way point and is just getting better and better. Sure, the first few episodes aren't that good, but judging it with the little knowledge you have saying it isn't serious is ignorant.

Look above. I'm sure you are in the same boat as him.

My attempt at trying to turn this into a proper English sentence suggests you are saying OP sucks and Naruto is better. Go actually watch the show. Your opinion would be valid then.

Then with your little One Piece knowledge, you attempt to down play it by saying rating don't matter. Then you use an example that suggests popularity and not ratings. Good way to twist things around. Ratings combine popularity and quality and give it a rating using both. Popularity doesn't matter much, I'll agree with you there. How good something is does matter however. If 10,00 people give one anime a 9.5 out of 10 on average and 100,000 people give another anime an 8 out of 10, guess which one is better. The one with the higher rating. One Piece does have a higher rating on most manga websites, just an fyi. One Piece also has sold twice as much manga volumes then Naruto also. That almost suggests One Piece has better rating and is more popular huh. I wonder why so many people like it if it's just a "real goof ass" anime/manga.

Suggesting One Piece doesn't have serious moments also. OH NO, EVERYONE DIED!!!!! Oh wait, nvm, they all got revived. I don't have to feel sad for them now. I'm sure the Pain arc would remind you of that. Then the whole revive everyone that died part for the war and just sh!ting on meaningful sacrifices, except J-man. I'm so glad that death stayed meaningful. Almost all meaningful deaths in Naruto don't mean anything anymore because the over-abusive reviving everyone theme. It takes away the seriousness on the show. At least in One Piece this doesn't happen.

Just another person who judges a book by its cover.

Naruto is more childish the One Piece. Of course you wouldn't know that since you never read it, or you would never make such a claim. I won't waste my time on a troll alt account either.

And now we finally get to the topic on hand.

Last time I remember you were on Thriller Bark. My guess now you have made it up to the Marineford or maybe even the time skip. One Piece is so amazing huh.

I had watched the crappy dub version of One Piece a LONG time ago. Then it stopped airing on TV and I never picked it up again. By that time I was really in to both Naruto and Bleach. The stories were amazing back then. I then picked up One Piece when I had time on my hands and fell in love with it. EVERYTHING about it is just so well done. It is the best story I have ever read/watched.

I think I know the problem you are facing. I'm in the same boat. I feel I'm just trying to finish Naruto for completeness. I invested so much time into the story, I just want to see the ending. The problem is, Naruto is a bit boring compared to earlier stuff like the first half of Naruto and the Pain arc. The story was going good and the action was good. When you compare current Naruto to what you are reading in One Piece, of course One Piece is better. The sad part is One Piece will just keep getting better and better while Naruto will fall in it's shadow. Hopefully Naruto will become amazing again and it will finish with a bang. I think then Naruto will become interesting to you again.
I feel for these fools
I dont know why you try to change peoples' opinions. If someone likes Naruto more than OnePiece then you shouldnt bash them for their opinion.
Im sorry the number of times others and I have seen a Naruto fan say Op is shit, then something peaks their interest and bang we have another thread saying" Why did I call OP shit im a ****ing idiot this manga is better than Naruto". I have lost count the number of times this has happened. BTW he was not even bashing

The problem with Naruto is that it became too serious. One Piece still captivates people even after 10 years because they keep up the comedy acts at the right moment. Naruto initially had that, but then abandoned it. I remember when Sai was first introduced; it was one of the funniest things I had seen or the constant banter between Sasuke and Naruto or Jiraiya's antics. Now there's barely any banter or comedic value, which for me was necessarily to maintain an equal interest. You need to lighten the mood once in a while; especially with really long stories and we see that often in novels. For some reason, Naruto went from being about ninjas to being Bleach with different characters, which kind of ruined parts for me as well. Before this whole Uchiha and Senju thing, I was enjoying naruto a lot more. I want to see naruto fight. I want to see Sasuke, Gaara and all the characters we know.

I don't want to see Hashirama pwning everyone just because he is a godlike being. Its not fun. I don't care about stupid Madara. With One Piece crazy powers make sense because it kind of related to pirates in general; being showy and load. What happened to being stealthy and ninja-like? Now amazing characters like Zabuza, with their insane stealth tactics and skill with weaponry are fodder level. Its a bit stupid. Before we just had like Itachi, Gaara and Deidara with incredible techs, but now its like everyone and his mother is a demi god.

I enjoy Naruto, but you have got to realize that you need the audience to experience different emotions. Being serious all the time gets stale. Even in the newest Bleach chapters there are funny parts, even whilst Soul Society is being destroyed by Quincy. Now Naruto is way less about character development (which is why it stood out to me, as the best amongst the 3 shounens in earlier arcs - there were some really amazing moments in Naruto) and more about who can summon planetary devourers or whatever the writer will come up with next.

i started with bleach 2 yrs ago when i finished
a friend of mine suggested naruto and fairytell
i loved them , i found naruto better than the other 2.

but 1 yr earlier when i started watching one piece all the other simply felt borring compared to one piece
i think one piece is the greatest anime ever made

manga wise i still feel naruto is a lil better cuz there is an element of surprise in every chapter of naruto manga
also i feel kishimoto is better story teller .

but in anime there is absoluty no match for one piece among the recent ones . it has a fantasic plot and probably the greatest of the anime characters ever created

Gratz, what was your favourite arc so far?
What a mean question. ;)

At firts glance I'd say probably Impel Down, Enies Lobby and Marineford "moved" me the most...

It is great to see when the different strings are pulled together and you finally understand what this is all about, where the relations lie and so on.
I like it when characters from different groups interact and sometimes even work together.
Oda is able to create a certain dynamic between the protagonists > Awesome!

But if I start thinking about the other Arcs I can't decide anymore which one I like the most.

For example:
I had lots of problems to get into the Thriller Bark Arc.
But then I was so happy that I sat the first eps through and then I saw just cool stuff.
I mean: Ussop against Perona and her Negative Ghosts... Hahahaha!!! XD

IMO some of the best scenes and fights Oda created.
And this is only a smart part of this Arc among other cool moments.

I think you really need to watch every Arc in order to understand the total OP universe.

I think it all depends on you. For me I didn't like, read, or even care to give One Piece a shot at all in the beginning. But then one day I was like I will read 1 chapter and then it was two then 25 a day then it got crazy and I was reading like 50 chapters a day. By the time I new it I had caught all the way up and fell in love with the series. It was a great way to get a nice change from Naruto and Bleach. It also has become my favorite Manga over Naruto and Bleach now. But I guess its all opinions and how you feel about it.

Oh and for the people that watched or read like 5 to 6 chapters or episodes and hated it try starting at Chapters 42-68, Episodes 19-30 if you don't like it after that then that's fine but that's where it gets amazing.

Come on, you shouldn't think like that. Be more supportive to the animes you like.

I like Fairy Tail, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, DBZ. I like them all equally.
