[Discussion] I rly think zoro could beat luffy

Luffy is much more faster and his haki is more powerful.
he has the advantage with strength if he uses gear third and also he has a devil fruit which gives him the advantage from mid-long range attacks.

Where did you get Luffy>Zoro in haki though? We haven't seen much of Zoro's haki to say Luffy is better at it imo. The problem I see with Luffy's gear 3 attacks is that they take time to prepare and that time is enough to badly hurt Luffy. Luffy's gear 3 attacks are more of a KO attacks imo. But once Luffy's gear 3 attacks hit, they are pretty damn fast and hard to stop. Imo, gear 2 is less of a boost to Luffy than before due to haki. Reason I'm saying this because look at Kuzan. Rayleigh was able to keep up with him even though Kuzan is pretty much the fastest man in the world.

Where did you get Luffy>Zoro in haki though? We haven't seen much of Zoro's haki to say Luffy is better at it imo. based on logic

luffy has only trained with haki

zoro trained fighting monkeys and probably discovered it on his own , and that is no easy feat , i have only seen one other character discover it on their own and that was coby , so luffy will have had far more training on haki than zoro , blackbeard already mentioned that luffy's haki was improving (during the impel down arc) , we have no pre-time skip sources even mentioning zoro using haki

Okay by that logic Boa Hancock is stronger than any top tier who doesn't have King's haki. Again, do we know how to train haki? Do we know if one can train it with their combat style or not? We can't assume, sir. Zoro trained with Mihawk every single day for two years as he said so himself. That's 6 months more than what Luffy got with Rayleigh.
As far as we know, King's haki is only good on fodders. I don't know how that implies Luffy is stronger than Zoro. If anything, it means Zoro would take over being the captain if Luffy didn't have King's haki, it's possible Zoro has King's haki.
Look at the likes of Law and Kid who rushed to NW and survived without haki and 2 years later their haki is on Luffy's level.

I agree with you that Zoro holds an edge in shape of swords which from the start seems to be Luffy's weakness...

But Luffy is a Haki monster compared to his crew...
Zoro and Sanji also use it but Luffy is way up...

Reasons why Luffy wins is because of speed, raw destruction and conquerer's haki...
